December January & February Park Hours Update Watch/Discussion

If they move the opening from 9am to 8am do they add more fastpasses for that time frame? If so is it immediate?

Do they update fast pass openings at the same time as park hours? I am traveling with a group and just got tickets so looking for a few hard to get fast passes to open up.

It's not always immediate. When they changed MK park hours it took a few hours before the SDMT FP for the 8-9 timeslot were loaded, even though they had loaded FP for other rides in that time. It's just a game of hitting refresh continually and ignoring anyone in your real life who is trying to get your attention, like your spouse or children.

As others have said, it's not immediate. Sometimes they even load tiered attractions on different days. When they changed EPCOT to 8:00AM w/ 7:00AM EMH for Dec 5, only the 2nd tier FP's had been loaded for times starting between 8:00AM & 9:00AM. I thought I had missed my window. Cut to a few days later & I got an 8:30 Test Track FP. And I don't think it was people sacking it because the other Tier 1's also had a bunch in that 8-9 starting range.

December EMH hours are changed to evening! Now to do the refresh dance for my SDD FP. I'm thrilled. Dangerous crowds are not my jam, at least this way they can let crowds trickle in as they arrive starting at 6:30 AM.

Just got SDD for January 19!!!

Did you get a 8am to 9am or 8pm to 10pm slot? I'll be there the previous day and would love to move my SDD fastpass to the early slot but nothing has come available in the last hour of refreshing

they just moved some of next week to a 7am start. Bring on the slinky dog!!

I saw 8-9am, 8:30-9:30am and 9:50am-10:50am. I took the 9:50.

I was able to change our SDD about an hour ago for 1/19 so those seem to be added.

was able to change SDD on Jan 29 from 4:40PM(!!) to 8:30am. Woohoo. Gives us time to refresh then for ToT and RNRC

For the first week of January, yes. I didn’t look at the rest of the month.

For the day of 12/19 and 12/22 RnR fast pass showing earlier times than recently loaded. But no SDD yet. I am stalking those days for earlier SDD.
