Thanks to you all for your warm welcomes! I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with how much planning I need to do!

Marilyn is right, I also will have a 5 month old. We also have a 3 year old daughter, 5 year old son, and 9 year old daughter. Our 8 year old niece will also be traveling with us. This will be our 5th cruise, but I have never traveled with a young infant before. Hopefully our little ones will do well. I plan to bring our stroller and do a lot of walking with Isaac I am sure he will enjoy looking at some of the Christmas decorations and lights. When was your little one born? Isaac was born July 15th.

Just think 4 weeks from tomorrow, we will be boarding the Wonder.

I can't wait for the cruise and am looking forward to meeting everyone!

DW was excited today. She loged onto the WDW site and didn't have to change calendars to check times for when we get down there. It doesn't take much, LOL. But it means were getting close to leaving.

Michael, the maize and blue almost handed another one away. They better get their act together in the next two weeks or Kimmy will never let us live it down.

Hi Vicki! Our kids are all so close in ages with us having a 3 yo daughter and 5yo son as well! Kaden was born on June 27th, he was supposed to be born mid-July like your son but decide he wanted to meet us earlier! I'm sure he will do fine, I hope the other two can just cooperate a bit when I'm taking care of him. We ended up getting two rooms in case he's fussy and because he still nurses at night. Thanks for the reminder about "walking"--I need to remember to pack my carrier!
Do you plan on using the nursery or kid's clubs at all? We put my son in the first time around and he had a ball until the very end when some other child "beat him up" and that's of course what he remembers! (It was pretty bad, he was hysterical by the time we got there) Now I'm nervous about putting them in, especially with my daughter who's a bit more shy, and we never used the nursery before. Maybe someone could calm my fears a bit?!

I'm thinking that I will just sort of forget about football for awhile. I'm wondering if I'll be seeing that "other" school out at the Rose Bowl this year...... (they do have a GREAT marching band!) - oh, Michael... BLASPHEMY!!!!

We booked yesterday! This is the second cruise for DH, my 5 yo son and I, but the first for my 3 yo daughter and my baby who will be 5 months at the time of the cruise. My son was 3 the last time we cruised. There are a LOT of pages to go through here, anything important I need to know? Any other little ones going? I need baby traveling trips! Thanks!

Yes, Adiriane is a REAL big help with Isaac. I am looking forward to meeting you and John too. Have you started packing? We have some and my daughter wants to do some more today. Best to start a little earlier especially with 4 kids in the house Less stress in the week b4 we leave.

Our daughter has 4 children so I know how hectic it can be! What a lovely name your eldest daughter has. I haven't heart that one before - very pretty.

I usually pack the night before we travel. I spend ages getting everything together though. I seem to take far too much but like choice!!! I have got more and more toiletries as I have got older too. This time of course there are the few pirate extras and a more dressy up outfit and shoes too.

Congratulations on baby Kaden. We have connecting rooms too - 2622 and 2624. Where are your rooms located on the ship? Isaac still nurses through the night too, plus it will be nice to have 2 rooms since we will have 5 kids with us

I have the kids signed up for the club and lab, but I don't have Isaac signed up for Flounders. We just plan to keep him with us when we do things on the ship. I am sorry that you had such a bad experience with the club. Hopefully this time around everything will be better. When we did our 1st cruise in 2002, my daughter Adriane then was 3 almost 4 and was too shy to go into the club. There was still a lot for her to do on the ship, so even if they don't want to be in the club, I am sure that they will have lots of fun!

Adriane got a big grin on her face when she read what you wrote about her name Thank you for your comment.

We tend to take more than we need also. I always want to make sure that I am prepared for anything that we may need. I am also packing a few pirate items too. My 5 year old son was a pirate for Halloween, so I plan to pack his costume for pirate night. We are going to be driving down to Florida from Wisconsin, so I don't want to really overpack. Otherwise it will be really crowded in our camper.

Have you started buying for the secret santa game yet? I have boughten a few things but still have to do a little more shopping. We probablty will decorate our door some, but it will be just for fun! I have seen some on the MouseFest website and WOW they are nice.

Have any of you had cabin changes/upgrades? We are still in the same cabin - not worried about an upgrade.

Do we have a back up plan for Secret Santa if people have cabin changes last minute?

I am away from 24th November, so will have to be notified on the ship.

I hope those who would like an upgrade get one.

I have NO idea where our rooms are yet--my husband is taking care of the actual reservations as he's our trip planner! I do need to make sure he's got the kids all signed up though. Keegan had very good experiences in the club other than that last day, so I think it will be fine. He's convinced that same boy will be there that "beat him up" and I keep telling him no one actually lives on the boat (wouldn't that be nice though?). He usually watches out for Kenzie too so I'm sure they'll have a great time. I plan on having Kaden with me the whole time too but DH is trying to convince me to leave him for a bit.

Hello Everyone,

I've been lurking for a while, and since it's getting closer, I thought I'd introduce myself. There will be eight of us (me, my parents, my sister and BIL with their two children (niece~5 & nephew~3), & my brother. It's going to be a test to see if we can all survive a family vacation together.

My niece is very excited to meet the princesses. My nephew just want to know if Thomas the train is going to be on the ship.... poor little guy.

We're all set with our Pirate costumes. We're hoping for a good family group picture for some interesting xmas cards!
