Dec. 2, 2007-4 night Wonder and MouseFest Cruise

Wow! I've heard of some all-nighters. I don't know how you could drive to the condo after a trip like that. Hopefully this year’s flight will be less eventful and you can get your body clock situated in time to enjoy the cruise.

Anyone here planning on participating in the door decorating contest hosted by MouseFest?

We decided to decorate our door at the last minute and I really don't know what to expect, but I think it will be fun! :rotfl:

Joy

P.S. Also wanted to bump us up to page one again!!! :)

I'm not at all creative, so will just enjoy looking at everyone elses doors.

I think there is a link on Mousefest giving hints and tips etc to help.

Now that was an "all nighter" indeedy! Made SSB nervous just reading about... ha ha! I am lucky on the "travel" part, as just an hour drive or so.

The door contest should be fun. I hope to see quite a few of them. My DD did one on a recent cruise and was neat to see each time we returned to the cabin.

Hope a great Monday for all.... four more weeks!

We will be decorating our door, as we have with our other two cruises. The girls enjoy making magnets and signs. Not sure if we can compete with our fellow Mousefesters, but should be fun just the same.

SSB and Tom,

I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do for the door...... :)

But, I'm sure it will be a blast!!!

On a side note (not Disney related, but needing to vent just a little.....)

I've been trying to get back to work...... I work from home via the internet. Well, I had a new digital phone line put in by Comcast last week for my home residence. They didn't tell me that this new phone line could not work with a Verizon DSL line (which is my internet connection for work)!!!! They disconnected the DSL line and in doing so wiped out my work account from verizon and any access to the internet! I logged on at 12 a.m. last week only to discover that I had no access to the internet!! UGH!!! Sooooo, now I'm waiting for Comcast to come out and put a seperate line in for work.

I never thought I'd be this frustrated because I wasn't able to get back to work......UGH!!!!

Wow, I feel so bad for those cruising this week. The pictures from the east coast of Florida look so bad - high surf, winds, beach erosion, and heavy rains - and that's even before tropical storm Noel hits them in a couple more days. I wonder if they will even go to Castaway Cay. How disappointing to spend so much time anticipating a great cruise and then to have bad weather the whole time. Weather can be so fickle, but atleast we shouldn't have to worry about tropical storms or hurricanes in Dec. But then again, we could have a major snow storm and not be able to get to Fl in time (Oh, but I don't want to even go there).
Rachel

PS - On a happier note, the Cleveland Browns actually won an away game yesterday :yay:

We're not that creative, either, and will likely use the same decorations as last year. It isn't so much about winning the contest as it is about having fun! We enjoyed hearing the comments from our fellow cruisers when they passed our door. Lots of people cruising never heard of door decorating so they seem shocked that people do it.

I wouldn't book a cruise in hurricane season, I just wouldn't. It isn't officially over until November 1, and even then you can still get the bad weather!

Living in WI we learn to plan for snow. For any cruise, I'd be leaving a day early to make sure we get there on time. Heck, I even do that for Alaska just in case there are travel glitches along the way. But December 1 shouldn't be snowy for us yet. I hope. :)

I have some ideas.....just don't know how to put it all together. :)

Jill and Lynda really are not into the door decorating, so Tim and I are doing the decorating. Tim is the type of person that gets excited about everything and has enough energy for all us!! :)

I will just enjoy seeing all the decorated doors!!! We'll have some magnets and things up (Marc is MUCH better about that than me) for daily events, but that's probably as far as we're going. Looking forward to seeing the others, however!!!

Michael

Yeppers... SSB is thinking a few magnets to my cabin door shall be my contribution. :)

Did sponsor prize for event so guess that disqualifies my 3 magnets...Ha ha!

I had better get going on my door magnets,. Today I have been working on Jonas Brothers T-shirts. I got talked into taking my oldest daughter to an Autography signing at a Verizon store.. It wasn't bad enought that I drove 300 miles RT to see them in WA. This evening I'm taking my youngest to the Hanna Montana. I told these girls that they are lucky and they better appreciate it. ButWhat I get out of it is the look on there faces that will last me a life time.:cool1:

Later to night I will be send out an email of the final Secret Santa:santa: list
