What is included in the quick service meal? If I get a pizza, salad and coke, would the salad be included?

Only if you found it somewhere as a complete meal. You would be entitled to a dessert though. You can use a SC though for a side salad at many places.

We ate pizza at Toy Story Pizza Planet and Pinnochio's Village House and salad was included. Check out the menus on Allears to see which CS have pizza combo meals that include the salad.

Sides are not included in CS meals unless they are part of a combo meal, like the pizza/salad combos mentioned by the previous poster.

All dining plan CS meals include dessert, but not sides.

So, it's better to buy a combo meal if you want sides?

If you are NOT buying a combo meal, or the entree doesn't come with the side (like a sandwich with chips or a burger with fries) you will either have to pay for a side, or use a snack credit to get one, if the item can be had with a snack credit.

Children's menu meals are a little different - most have an option where kids can choose an entree and two sides - they usually get several options to pick from like grapes, apple slices, carrot or celery sticks, applesauce, sugar-free gelatin, french fries (sometimes you may need to actually ask for these because they either won't put them on the menu or they will put "fries substituted upon request" in very small lettering), cookies, ice cream or pudding.

One of the two sides counts as dessert, though - on the dining plan a kid isn't entitled to two sides plus dessert.
