Top O the Mornin Dads!
Sooo tired, sooo, sooo tired. Exhausted over the last couple of days. Will respond to you nimrods later. Going to bed now, if I don't make it, the floor will do.
As one of the a fore mentioned nimrods (too funny have not heard for a while), seriously? You are at DaWorld with PP and for the past 2 days those of us in real cold weather and stuck missing DDCC have heard about it being cold and that you are tired?

Happy Friday. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

The top swimmer is a full minute ahead of everyone????
Holy smokes!

6:30 is state cuts.

Sooo tired, sooo, sooo tired. Exhausted over the last couple of days. Will respond to you nimrods later. Two things, Norm, good luck to your DD at the meet, Rob, hoping for a speedy recovery.

MK today and a word of advice, DO NOT EAT THE SHRIMP PLATTER AT COLUMBIA HARBOR HOUSE. Rubbery and tasteless. The kid got up before 6:00 and was allowed to buy her shoes at 9:30, then we did some stuff at the MK. Dropped her off at the Expo where she bought said shoes. Met Ariel and she fawned over said shoes that she woke us both up before at 6:00 so she was allowed the privilege of buying the aforementioned shoes.
!

Three things:
(1) Thanks.
(2) I usually get the clam chowder or the mac n cheese at CHH.
(3) Suck it up buttercup. You can take a vacation when you go back to work next day.

TGIF Gents!

Good luck to your DD this weekend Norm. We are back at the basketball thing, DS has 3 games but they are all in town.

Thanks, and good luck to your son ay basketball.

Good day today. Started off drizzling when we went to DHS so I bought two ponchos. Total number of Disney ponchos purchased in my lifetime is now 4,237. Met a few guys for a ToT group drop. Total in the party equaled 13, I think appropriate. We also did the new Star Wars and it was pretty cool. Lunch at 50's was great. Scott, had an out of body experience with his PB&J Milkshake. I had the fried chicken and it was fantastic as usual. Met up with a few of the guys at the start of the pub crawl at Bel View. Fun.

Two downers. The camera is dead. Same one as I use for U/W photography. Need to see if I can get it fixed so I don't need to buy a new camera and housing. Felt weird walking around DHS today without a camera. Took a couple with the iPhone but it wasn't the same. Second and worst news was the person watching the dogs told us my favorite child was unable to use her hind legs. Right now we are in wait and see mode to find out if it gets better in the morning. If not, she is going to have to go to that big farm in the sky. Needless to say, my oldest child is upset but is coping well.

We are off to try to eat at Trattoria al Forno in a bit. Long story but made a reservation on My Disney Experience which does not show up. Called Disney Dinning to see what happened and after 20 minutes of a ridiculous experience, "Can I get you name again?" hung up. Will try to get in at the restaurants.

Having a blast, wish you guys were here. Seriously, I do.

What can I say, the first two days kicked my butt.

Got a good night sleep last night (more than 4 hours) and this buttercup sucked it up today. And, I would not trade with you guys not at Disney right now.

I met Randall and CJ!!! @Cinderella's Fella
@cj9200

And a bunch of other guys who post here sometimes too.

Great meeting you Andy. Sorry about not making O'hana tomorrow. Hope the family enjoys the trip next week.

Top o the Mornin Dads! Thanks Randall for posting some pics - looks like a great time down there.

Nice!

Total number of Disney ponchos purchased in my lifetime is now 4,237.

Wow! That's over $114,000!

Scott, had an out of body experience with his PB&J Milkshake.

This I believe. Those things are amazing.

Crap. And those things ain't cheap.

Second and worst news was the person watching the dogs told us my favorite child was unable to use her hind legs.

Oh, no! Not news you want to hear. Hopefully it's just a strain or sprain.

Sorry to hear about your dog. Hope all works out for the best.

Easy day today, slept in till 8:30. The Pirate Princess is getting her knees taped for tomorrow's marathon. Had sausage and eggs for breakfast this morning, nice having a 1 BR. We head over to the Poly for a pre Ohana dinner meet up around 4:00 pm. Then the night is going to be spent at Disney Springs.

Downloading some pictures and I hopefully will be able post some later today.

Wow! That's over $114,000!

Down payment on Golden Oaks. Screwed that up.

Not looking good. We are giving it a day or two before making a decision. The kid wants to drive down right after the Marathon, see the dog if we have to put it down and then drive right back so she can catch her flight back to school. I don't think we have enough time and even so, it won't accomplish much. See an argument brewing.

Tough one. My heart goes out to you guys.

Done swimming events for the day, and I'm going home while dd will stay here to support her team. She won her 500 heat at 6:55, shaving 12 seconds off time. In the other heat, the winner had 5:15, 2nd 5:50, while the other finishers were in the 6:40-6:49 range. Relay and 100 fly were not great. She shaved 2 seconds off fly, while one relay swimmer had a bad day.

I was quite proud as she pulled away around Lap 17 and the easily cruised her way into the final laps to win her heat.

Sorry to hear about the dog, moreso about your daughter as it is always worse with them.

Thank you Jennings Osborne

Well..... back to the normal grind.

We had a great trip and really enjoyed our time through Christmas and New Years. I am glad we have done it once but at this point don't think I want to go again during this time of year. Busy Busy Busy.
All the lines were long and it was little more difficult to get around, I enjoyed all the festivities but not how crowed everything was. Because we have been down a bunch of times we expected it to be busy and not be able to accomplish as much we normally do, but for some one to go down during this time for the first time would be a disaster.
New Years Eve at EPCOT was awesome and the fireworks at MK on the 30 and 31 were incredible as well.
I think we are planning for October again!

We have been there twice between Christmas and New Years and love it. Completely agree that it is not a time for a first timer or novice. We treat it like a different trip than when we normally go taking in all the holiday things like Candlelight Processional, Osborne Lights, touring the hotels and seeing all the decorations, etc. and whatever regular stuff we can get in we get in.
The gang heading off to Maraton immortality.
Good luck to all the runners and make sure to have the bloody mary's ready.

Marathon over. This was a tough race. The Pirate Princess recorded her worst time in a marathon and is feeling the pain right now.

BIG Congrats to her. Quite an accomplishment.

Well..... back to the normal grind.

That sucks. Not even thinking about leaving yet.

Glad you all enjoyed the trip. I want to go a bit earlier in December and catch a MVMCP, but it will still be another 7 years or more until we get the dds out of school/ into college so we can go.

Good morning!

Congrats to DD!

Thanks. Sorry to hear about dd's marathon experience. I dream about running the 5K event in Disney one day. I have the next decade to train for it.

Congrats to your DD. Maybe sines winning scholarships in the future.

It is official, playing in the cold and rain on Wednesday, made me sick.

Also on the good news front, we decided to put the dog down later today. She isn't responding to treatment.

The kid is, as of now, flying the friendly skies on her way to NJ.

Today, I am crashing at the hotel. Breakfast of sausage, tomatoes mozzarella and eggs are cooking on the stove. Third day in a row up at 5:00 so I think a nap is in order after breakfast. Planning nothing else today. All in all, I would rather be sick in WDW than at home. Wish I was with the dog but she is in good sympathetic hands. Her sitter is a Vet Tech and really loves animals.
