It is official, playing in the cold and rain on Wednesday, made me sick.

Also on the good news front, we decided to put the dog down later today. She isn't responding to treatment.

The kid is, as of now, flying the friendly skies on her way to NJ.

Today, I am crashing at the hotel. Breakfast of sausage, tomatoes mozzarella and eggs are cooking on the stove. Third day in a row up at 5:00 so I think a nap is in order after breakfast. Planning nothing else today. All in all, I would rather be sick in WDW than at home. Wish I was with the dog but she is in good sympathetic hands. Her sitter is a Vet Tech and really loves animals.

Quite the mix of good and bad there.
Sorry about your critter. It's always tough when that has to be done.

Top O the Mornin Dads! DD headed back to school yesterday - mixed emotions of gonna miss her and "get out"

The Pirate Princess meeting whatever it is called at the Launch Bay. Cool space. We were going to meet Chewey but the wait was 30 minutes and we were headed out.



First dinner at Trattoria al Forno. Really like this place. I wasn't hungry so only had the Caprese Salad and she had the pasta Carbonara minus the bacon.





They brought out some Vanilla Gelato for her birthday

Done swimming events for the day, and I'm going home while dd will stay here to support her team. She won her 500 heat at 6:55, shaving 12 seconds off time. In the other heat, the winner had 5:15, 2nd 5:50, while the other finishers were in the 6:40-6:49 range. Relay and 100 fly were not great. She shaved 2 seconds off fly, while one relay swimmer had a bad day.

I was quite proud as she pulled away around Lap 17 and the easily cruised her way into the final laps to win her heat.

Congrats to DD, well done!

Sorry about the cold and your dog CJ. We are going through the same thing with our newest cat, just got back from the vet after putting her down. She had something called HIP and had gone blind and have a number of seizures over the last couple of days. Sad to see the little one go, she wasn't even a year old yet.

Just heard (but did not see) dueling fire works from Star Wars at DHS and Illuminations. By noise alone, Star Wars won going away.

Kickoff is coming up. Supposed to root for Alabama per SEC fan rules but I am not a fan of Saban. Hopefully it will be a good game.

Sorry to hear Darcy, it is tough. And, thanks to everyone on their posts. She is going to the Vet tomorrow and more than likely will be put down. We cut off a cancerous growth on her lip about 8 months ago and got some more time with her. More importantly so did the kid. Great dog and a sweetheart.

Pretty darn good actually. Tastes more of PB than J. But it's a grape J taste. I'd order it again for sure!
