DIS Dads DDC XXXIV: The Original Home Of The DISDads!!!

Dads of the DIS talk about life, bacon, Disney, bacon, kids, bacon, cars, bacon, family life, and lots of other fun stuff! And beer. And bacon.
Happy Tuesday. It is cold. :furious:
Too bad global warming doesn't work when you need it.

I love the Indiana Jones movies but I thought that The Last Crusade was a perfect way to end the series.

That was a good way to end the series.

One of you guys from up north do me a favor and shut the door please.

We saw 30s down here last night.

Yeah, it's Darcy's fault. Make sure you shoot him on his next trip to WDW.

And we had some funny white stuff falling from the sky this morning. WTH??

Is it cocaine? Fed will find you as well, although I think Darcy's in more trouble. :lmao:

Happy Hump Day Eve! First big meeting of the year done. 6th year in a row and can almost can guarantee cold weather for it. Hope all the Dads at DDC3 have a great time and have a little extra fun for those of us that can't make it.

Dogs at the sitter and bags are packed and in the car. The kid's bag is waiting to be loaded because she needs some stuff in the morning. Snacks also in the car minus refrigerated stuff. Alarm set for 5:30, we will see if we get up then. Really want to get out of here.

' Morning all...
Back to the Doc this afternoon to discuss results from the latest test.

By the way... If you're ever scheduled for an EMG/Nerve Test, what you can expect is equal portions of electric shock and being treated like a pin cushion; so pretty much "enhanced interrogation" but without any questions being asked. I'd recommend finding a way to avoid ever needing to have one done if you can swing it.

psst: it's DDCC4...

Yeah, yeah, yeah...
And I'll be missing out on DDCC5 through 27 as well, but y'all have fun.
I'd tell ya' to drink one for me, but I suspect that you'll be drinking enough to honor pretty much everyone that ever lived anyway. If you remember any of it, you'll have to share some of the better stories back here sometime.

Given the current exchange rate, that may be what's needed to afford another trip to WDW.

;)

Top O the Mornin Dads! Save travels nd a great time to all attending DDCC4.

For those of us cannot get to DDCC at this time of year due to the day jobs, we need to look at pulling off something down the road maybe during Food & Wine

Enjoy CJ - safe travels and have one for me.

Hope they come up with a game plan to help you - let us know how it goes

Good luck with that.

Sounds like fun... if you're a masochist.

I'd tell them anyway!

:rolleyes1

I love the Indiana Jones movies but I thought that The Last Crusade was a perfect way to end the series.

Can't disagree with that.

It's a sad day......had to go back to the office.

That's a sad day that keeps repeating itself for some reason.

Oh, shoot! Sorry! My bad. Let me just clo.... wait.... Why should I be the only one to suffer.
<flings door wide open> Mwahahahahaha!!!!!!!

Well, now we know who to blame.
I thought you were smarter than that. The Boardwalk is next to water. There's a whole big lake to park your boat. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Sounds like a perfect solution to me!

Well, that just sounds horrifying. Hope you get better and past all this soon.

happy Wednesday. I am really looking forward to tennis tonight. Only 10 more weeks of cold weather.

Meetings. For the lonely and those in management who need to justify their salaries. Like me, I'm sure you'll get more work, less support, and less pay - but the meeting with the 5 people each drawing a $100K salary was productive. :furious:

The electric shock sounds about as fun as a meeting. I may be able to make DDCC 11 after I ship youngest off to college. Otherwise, it will be closer to DDCC 15.

<Rubs hands together gleefully....>

Hit a sore spot there, huh?

Missed our launch window by a half an hour. Woke at six and got on the road at 6:30. The drive up was terrible. Rain from Miami to Ft. Pierce where we had breakfast at the Cracker Barrel. It let up a little but soon became pretty steady all the way to WDW. Got her race packet and after lollygagging we made it to Epcot in time for our 2:20 FP to SE. Crowds were not bad but it was cold, windy and rainy. At TT, she designed the highest efficient car of the day. Scored a total of 211 and the high score of the day was 224. Not a bad engineer.

I wanted to blow off Osborne but after a stop at the Bel Vue room we were adequately warm inside and out. Still cold but rain stopped. Glad we went although I think it will get me sick. Pictures and video later. Nice room at Pop, near the parking lot and bus stop.

The quest for the Little Mermaid running shoes special to this year's marathon has begun. She has to log on at 6 am. to a website to get a reservation to be allowed to buy the shoes. Wish us luck. Off to bed soon, long day.

psst: it's DDCC4...

I drop one C. To me it is DDC 4. Actually the first DDC was not named but I have photographic evidence of a meet. Technically this is DDC5.

Sorry to hear. Hope the results are good.

Hope you have the right check in day. Have a great day.

Nailed it.

Welll.... good luck!

Great job Crash! System will keep your design on your magic band until you design another one. She may be the Top Car every time she rides...

Cold? Cold? Really?

:rotfl2:

Good luck on your mermaid pursuit. May the odds be ever in your favor.
