Happy Thursday. Played tennis last night for first time without heel supports in over 6 months. Sore this AM, but hopeful I am finally turning the corner with this stuff.
And, our little city is buzzing as this week is the city/ county swim meet. This one is more important than state championships (in their minds). Oldest dd is swimming fly in relay, 100 fly, and 500 free. Yeah, that 500 yards is about 1/3 mile.
Excellent...
Healing (as opposed to "heeling") is always a good thing.
Just watch that all that exercise doesn't aggravate things again.
Good luck to DD for the swim competition. That's far more work than I'd be putting into my time in a pool.
I'm more jellyfish than sailfish... floating along suites me just fine.
I'm in the same boat - timing just sucks. That's why we need to think about a fall DDCC (or however many C's Randall and CJ decide on) at some point during Food & Wine.
I'd approve of a fall edition. Still have to scrounge up the bucks, but if it were during the later weeks of a month right after school starts back up, I might be able to actually get there.
Congrats on the cost of living adjustment. Did they adjust for all the years they skipped or just this one?
Mathematically, it covered about 2 years or so. Better than one, but not enough to cover the losses from all nine.
(nor does it include additional compensation for the additional responsibilities I took on from five other folks as each of them left the fold, not to be replaced).
Still better than a sharp stick in the eye though, right?
Bruise sounds to me like "It will heal eventually". So I'd consider that good news.
But considering I know zilch about spine injuries, I could also be completely wrong.
Hope so, but nerve cells are a bit quirky.
I basically asked him the question of eventual healing specifically.
He didn't say yes or no directly, but rather: "well, the more 'normal' the MRI is, the better."
We'll see.
Nice. Spend it wisely. On Disney trips would be my suggestion.
I like the suggestion, to be sure.
But the "wisely" bit of it means that tuition payments may well win out.
Actually, when I was informed about the change, my response was
"WCU thanks you, very much."
