Good morning guys.

Stretch is having a growth spurt again. How can I tell? Two nights ago he woke up almost in tears complainging his legs hurt. Today, Not even turning on Pandora on my phone and setting it to Disney Radio next to his head is waking him. The boy is not even six and a half and he's pushing 52 inches. I hope he's not looking me in the eye before he gets out of elementary school.

Great news guys, follow up with the surgeon this AM and she said they got it all, no chemo!! Now I am on the short cycle for colonoscopies but it beats the alternative and kids will need to start screening at 40, but forewarned is forearmed.

That's great! About time you get some good news!

Rough day today. Got an email from one of my best friends (since high school) and his brother died of a heart attack. He flew in from DC and had to leave to to go to his brother's house about 2 hours away. I sat with his mom for a while today until one of her friends could come over. Stressful day. The good news is the Brit arrived last night and we are hitting Key Largo for a couple of days. Scary thing is his brother was my age. Life is short guys.

Wow... that certainly is a rough day.

Top O the Morning Dads! Though we have a DCL cruise coming up, I just realized last night that we do not have a park trip planned for the future right now. Been spoiled as it's been a while since I did not have a park trip in the works - the horror.

I seem to have created a Star Wars Geek. Stretch almost has season 1 of Rebels committed to memory. That's impressive since I still haven't let him see the Clone Wars and DW won't let him watch the original trilogy yet.

Top O the Morning Dads! Though we have a DCL cruise coming up, I just realized last night that we do not have a park trip planned for the future right now. Been spoiled as it's been a while since I did not have a park trip in the works - the horror.

With his ear, he has coordination and balance issues. He has no interest to be on skates. We have an appointment with another surgeon next month. We hope to know more then. Plus we're going to a conference on Microtia/Atresia in August in DC.

You can always pencil in a 2016 trip. That's what we're doing.

Tennis tonite. While it may be the last indoor game of the season, there is a 100% chance I'll be hobbling tomorrow.

Yeah, only 1 trip on the books this year. We'll see if we can get back to two, but it looks like DW is not willing to take as much vacation as I am.

She is always about 2-3 shorter than him. She's like the third tallest in her grade. What's funny is they are the same weight. Peanut is tall for a girl but she's built more like a line backer where he's a string bean.
