I agree with your logic, but I've always traveled with at least 1 or 2 others in our group who want to head back to the resort for a mid day break. If we're leaving anyway, I kind of enjoy getting to do the best of a couple of parks in a day. And when you reach that point later in the week that you've covered all you want in one park, you can head over to see fireworks in another or hang out in the World Showcase for a few hours or whatever you want. It really depends how you want to tour the parks, but there are definite benefits both ways.

We don't really park hop either. It is so much work to get 3 kids into a park… who wants to leave then do it again?

However, we plan on hopping a bit in September. 4 park days with a few planned breaks back at BLT to enjoy the resort a bit. We usually leave early in the morning and get back after dark.

Next week this time we'll be on a plane to MCO for 5 days of non-Disney stuff. Hope the weather is a replay of this week's forecast... looks gorgeous!
