Just a quick pop in to point your way to a post that one of our DISers, Tom Bell, posted on the Disneyland Community forum. For the past seven years, DIS Divas have been leaving their husbands and children behind, and spending a weekend at Disneyland with other women, having a lot of fun.

Tom wants to know if the guys think this is something that could happen for the DIS Dudes:

Good morning guys. Schools closed, roads ice covered with accidents and many road closures. Working from home today as it just is not safe to be driving though the office is open

I drove oldest to orthodontist appointment this morning. Roads were bad, but passable. I am home with dds, not doing any work.

Morning Men! The snow we were supposed to get today stayed to the south. For those in the way of the storm, stay warm and safe.

Clear skies and sunny here! Just too bad it is -13F

That's ccccccccoooollllddddd. A balmy 32 degrees here so far today. I almost wore shorts today.

I think it has been three conventions at WDW. The first one just wasn't called a convention and happened several years ago. There has been discussion of Disneyland convention and Dis Dad cruise. We also have DisDad nemesis, challenges, Fantasy football and baseball leagues, prayer requests, and non-park meet-ups.

I don't know about the DisDudes, but us DisDads have strict rules. See page 1 for all our wisdom.

For the school closings, we were told that we will be in school until June 25th and they will not go any later. If we get any more snow days, the kids will have to make up the days over April vacation. We have a few unhappy friends that have April vacations planned and are praying to the snow gods to stay away.

Really freaking cold again, still feeling chilled, and I've been inside since 8:30 and haven't even been hanging in the refrigerated areas. But at least the suns back out. Means it's not snowing.

We enjoyed a sunny 84 F day on Saturday; only to be followed by ice, sleet and temperatures in the teens on Sunday. The kids' schools were closed today, but DW and I both made it to work with no issues. I assume it was probably closed more for liability - the sidewalks had a lot of ice on them, but the roads didn't.

I am looking forward to my business trip to The World on March 17-21. I have a feeling there won't be any sleet or ice down there. Staying at the Yacht Club! A first for me.

Morning guys. I'm hoping this situation in Ukraine gets resolved soon. Poland is a neighbor and we are worried that if this escalates we may be delayed in traveling. Of course, I also don't want to see anyone lose their life. It almost feels like the Russia of old, trying to bully the little countries of Eastern and Central Europe

I'm just looking at it as free summer child care, since all they really do in school is babysit them anyway. Earlier this year, my 6th grader had a geography question on the correct method that Australians use to apply sunscreen. Thus, I've determined that middle school education is also now worthless.

I didn't even think of those two countries being that close together. I hope everything works out for your travel.
