Sorry to hear this. Hopefully it is legit. Is the SiL they were with the one with the flea problems?

No, their mother was never married to my BIL. This is the same piece of fodder that almost ruined our vacation 2 years ago. He is 35 lives with his mother and has been unemployed for years. I think he is holding out for a position in management.

Do fleas even travel on people??

On people or in clothes and the like. It isn't like they'd introduce more than potentially a few flea that way, but then you'd have to be concerned with them laying eggs in your home. I mean it is possible that they could contaminate your home with fleas, but it isn't like we're talking about bedbugs here. You can actually get rid of a fleas around the house without calling an exterminator. :lmao:

We are going to try Restaurant Marrakesh this time. Pretty much the only restaurant available for the Candlelight Processional package on the 12th of December. I really wanted the 12th because i'm a huge fan of Dennis Haysbert! I was very reluctant to pick Marrakesh but after reading tons of reviews I'm feeling pretty confident that we are going to like it.

We loved Marrakesh.

Sorry for the stress MIL is creating. Unfortunately they come as part of the marriage option package. Good luck and taking the girls out for ice cream may help.:thumbsup2 I won't even get started on my MIL.:headache::rolleyes1...

I'm fortunate. I get along better with my in-laws than my wife does, but I didn't have to grow up with them either.

...I'm serious! An antenna might solve all my problems- well, at least the tv related ones...

We haven't had TV since moving to KY 3 years ago and only had an antennae for 10 years before that. I don't miss it much anymore. Now if i could just stay away from the on-line news I would eliminate even more problems related to society. There is more than one day I have envied the Mennonite growers I work with.

We share a cat with the neighbor (boring story) but she, the cat not the neighbor, brought in some fleas while the rest of the family was out this summer. A pie tin with a little water and a drop of dish soap on the floor with a lamp on next to it overnight will get rid of most and running the vacuum got them cleaned up in less than a week. No pesticide required.

Exactly. I was going to ask if the kids' mom knows how to run a vacuum, but then I thought maybe that wasn't such a nice thing to say. :rolleyes1

But your making then suffer! Does PETA protect fleas or just mammals?:lmao::rotfl2:

This group is awesome! How can I join?

You just did! Tell us a little about yourself and your family. Randall will be by later to give you your number and Norm will be looking for your dues to pass out. Of course none of us have ever seen the dues so good luck with that.

I have those days I'm ready to unplug as well, but how would I do all this posting?

Yes, KY remedies. There are some good ones.

Welcome. Dues are payable in dole whips, bacon, beer, or cake. You mail them all to me, and then I distribute them.

We've driven thru that area, dreaming on where to retire in another decade. I don't want to be in Orlando, but close enough to WDW that I can take the toll road in everyday. I also want to be close to the ocean, so that's challenging.

More words of wisdom. Chad, there are a group of us dads who plan to drive our campers and plug them in at nearby people's home. CJ is in Miami and prime mooching material. Oscar just moved, but is still a possibility, but he has more mouths to feed. Maybe we can park in your front yard. Ever seen the movie Christmas Vacation?

Morning guys. Yesterday my in laws were supposed to visit for a few days. My MIL called at the last minute and said the kids (the grand kids that live with her) had flea bites all over them from being at their moms. She cancelled coming because she did not want to bring any fleas into our house. Seemed legit......until last night she posted on FB, they went to the beach, my SIL house and to church. If she could bring fleas here, wouldn't that work for where ever she goes? I have never had a pet with fleas do I really don't know.
.

Sorry to hear it. I definitely would have posted on FB. My BIL and his wife won't friend me on FB for calling them out. Moochers. I just tell my dds whenever we do something to be disappointed by them, like your couisin may come over for a visit, if lazy Moochers will bring them. Then, when they don't show up, my dds aren't disappointed. It is sad.

?

Wasn't this their tag line in the IPO? :lmao:

Either that or they'll scramble the Air Force fighters to shoot you down.:lmao::lmao::

Only in your dreams. Fortunately, as a member of Team Sparrow, I fight....to run away.

Did Batman get a nose job? Somethin' don't look right.

12.

It's because he's not wearing the costume and doesn't have Robin next to him.

Howdy fellow dads, hope all is well, been keeping myself busy, since having to cancel my oct Disneyland trip, I am now focusing on an Oct 2014 split WDW and US trip with dual Halloween parties and hopefully the Harry potter expansion will be done by then, been keeping up with the DisDad Facebook post so even if I'm not on the board I'm still keeping simi informed lol. Hope everyone's doing great. Norm, since the trip is cancelled i am looking to get out of tennessee for a weekend soon, anything goin on in y'all's neck of the woods?

Wish I could help. School is back in session and soccer season starts soon. Every weekend, except our Fall Break, is locked in to soccer for the next few months.

Other then the odd little period, I had the goatee for years up untill a couple of years ago. At one point I let it grow out untrimmed for about a year. I'm pretty sure that's how I stood out to be picked as "that guy" at the Laugh Floor.
:

That's good length. In my avatar, that is not my real hair, but my real goatee rolled up with beads for the MNSSHP. That was a fun look. Maybe I should try that one on a regular basis.

With all the Dad's down in WDW, I find the lack of meet ups with Briana and Stewart Disturbing!

I got a text about this topic from a dad so I figured I would try to help out.:lmao:

barry has been trying all week. :lmao: she had a few days off and barry and briana even texting back and forth and still couldn't meet up.:lmao:

ron tried also and is going to give it another try Friday.

there are a lot of factors in her work times. the best thing to do is text me or pm me when your going to be in the mk and I can tell you where she is going to be...... maybe :lmao:

in the evening hours if the cart is not making money, they will send some or all the people home from that cart and close the location. so if it says till 9:30, she may be out of there at 8:00.
they also use her as a floater. she wears a costume that is a standard costume and she will move from cart to cart who ever needs help, lunches etc..... she uses the tunnels to get around so you wont see her moving around.

they also can text her, change her location and times up to 4 hours before she starts. if she works a 6 hour shift, she don't get lunch or a brake so I have no idea where she is that day/night.if its longer then 6 hours she will get a brake and can text me what she has been doing.

starting this week for the next few weeks she only has one day off a week and a lot of hours. the cp program is switching so there are kids leaving and new kids starting so till they get the new kids trained, she will be working more.

she also had the mouse wash her name tag so she has a new one. for some reason they didn't put her college on it but her home town so it now says Nazareth pa.

barry and ron, thanks for thinking of her and taking the time to try to hunt her down. :thumbsup2

the best part is they have to wear a hat. they seem to put all the short, blonde girls in the same cart. I walked by her twice the first time I looked for her and didn't know it was her.
