DIS Dads DDC XXIX: We’re Over 750 Dads, With A Disney Problem!

Hey just a quick question... I know the season hasn't started yet (although it never ends for us up here anyways) but are there any Hockey fans in the group? Is there a Hockey thread or am I going to have to start one? That is all.

On people or in clothes and the like. It isn't like they'd introduce more than potentially a few flea that way, but then you'd have to be concerned with them laying eggs in your home. I mean it is possible that they could contaminate your home with fleas, but it isn't like we're talking about bedbugs here. You can actually get rid of a fleas around the house without calling an exterminator.

I got a text about this topic from a dad so I figured I would try to help out.

barry has been trying all week. she had a few days off and barry and briana even texting back and forth and still couldn't meet up.

ron tried also and is going to give it another try Friday.

there are a lot of factors in her work times. the best thing to do is text me or pm me when your going to be in the mk and I can tell you where she is going to be...... maybe

in the evening hours if the cart is not making money, they will send some or all the people home from that cart and close the location. so if it says till 9:30, she may be out of there at 8:00.
they also use her as a floater. she wears a costume that is a standard costume and she will move from cart to cart who ever needs help, lunches etc..... she uses the tunnels to get around so you wont see her moving around.

they also can text her, change her location and times up to 4 hours before she starts. if she works a 6 hour shift, she don't get lunch or a brake so I have no idea where she is that day/night.if its longer then 6 hours she will get a brake and can text me what she has been doing.

starting this week for the next few weeks she only has one day off a week and a lot of hours. the cp program is switching so there are kids leaving and new kids starting so till they get the new kids trained, she will be working more.

she also had the mouse wash her name tag so she has a new one. for some reason they didn't put her college on it but her home town so it now says Nazareth pa.

barry and ron, thanks for thinking of her and taking the time to try to hunt her down.

the best part is they have to wear a hat. they seem to put all the short, blonde girls in the same cart. I walked by her twice the first time I looked for her and didn't know it was her.

Went to the race place and set up for tomorrow's event. This is going to be FUN! The people there are super nice to work with and have agreed to just about every request I have made. I took DD with me to help decorate, then when we were done the lady in charge asked if we wanted to go race ... for free!
So we got to go test the track out for about a half hour! SWEEEEEET!

I'll be sure to post some pics tomorrow! I want that first place trophy!

Morning Philip. Good to see you still lurking. We have never done the US Halloween as the kids were a little uneasy about the adult scary stuff. Maybe in the next few years. Have fun planning.

Not sure getting out of Tennessee into KY counts.

When I plan US trips its always without DD lol, maybe in a few more years ill take her but would like it if she could ride most if not all rides. Good point about KY, Norm wouldn't want me in there anyways, did recently take DD on a day trip to Beech Bend water park but they say bowling green KY is pretty much North Nashville anyways haha.

Wish I could help. School is back in session and soccer season starts soon. Every weekend, except our Fall Break, is locked in to soccer for the next few months.

I understand , hard for me to get away too, the thought of not having an Orlando trip for a whole year and 2 months is driving me nuts, even looked into US in jan for the Potter celebration, love WWOHP, not a big potter fan but my GF is and thought it would be nice to take her to that for her first trip but we decided to wait till next Oct when the expansion should be done.

No, their mother was never married to my BIL. This is the same piece of fodder that almost ruined our vacation 2 years ago. He is 35 lives with his mother and has been unemployed for years. I think he is holding out for a position in management.

They are pretty smart though, I was watching a Buffalo station that was advertising for tickets for Sabres games. Tickets can go as low as something like $35-50 something like that....unless the Leafs are in town, then it's like $80 for the cheap seats... Still cheaper then in Toronto...
