‘Morning all…
I’m officially living in an empty nest. We hauled the boy and off to college yesterday; quite the adventure but a successful operation. DW is handling it better than I expected which is good for both of us. Now to start paying the bill…

Name: Chad
Location: Winter Haven, FL, about an hour SW of Disney World
Occupation: Analyst for insurance company

Married for 3 years, have a 1 year old son and expecting another next month!

Formerly a Passholder but didn't renew in April due to wife's pregnancy, planning to get Annual Passes again later this year or early next year.

Even though I live an hour away I usually vacation there every year for a week, plus monthly if not weekly visits. Planning next long trip for October 2014, once new kid is a year old. Can't wait!!

Welcome sir!
Drop in often and join in on the conversation whenever it strikes you.
I’ll be one of the folks parking a camper in your fount yard in the near future. You HOA wouldn’t happen to have any rules against clothes lines or chicken coops in the front yard perchance?

A happy belated birthday Casey!

Taking the kids to see Planes this afternoon.
Cool…
You’ll have to let us know if it’s worth the big-screen price or if we should just wait for the $1 version.

Happy Friday morning ownage

The dds started back to school on Wednesday, and it feels like this week has lasted forever. It probably has more to do with just the usual crap at work. Hope everyone has a great day and better weekend.

Mine don't start back till the 26th. Makes it great for the late August trip, we can catch the first week of value season without taking them out of school.

You should check out Winter Garden. I used to live there. 20 minutes from my driveway to the TTC parking Lot.

Miami is a long way from Orlando! I'm much closer, but DW would never allow a caravan to park in the yard. lol
We never consult the DW's around here before we make plans. They always ruin the fun.

Just focus on the light at the end of the tunnel. :thumbsup2

I've got so much crap going on this weekend that I'm already looking forward to next weekend. :crazy2: :faint:
Hope the light isn't a train.

My weekend is full too but its because we are starting packing and make sure we have everything on the list so there are no last minute runs to the store on our way out of town in 7 DAYS..

Funny you say that! I'm from Ottawa so I must confess I'm a Sens fan here. Hahahaha

Agghhh. Another Canadian, the penguins are coming.
GO STARS!!!

Yes indeed the light at the end if the tunnel is a train. The freaking VP of operations decided to visit this morning to "look around" with another higher up.... In other words issues have been reported and they are looking into it.

Be much better if they come back later since I am driving everyone to catch up.

Morning guys! Start of my 3 day weekend over here!:cool1:

Woohoo!

Less than 7 hours and I'm on vacation!!! Yahoo!!

For two days. Then I'm back to work on Monday.

Wooh- hey wait a minute... ROFL

Funny you say that! I'm from Ottawa so I must confess I'm a Sens fan here. Hahahaha

Gasp! Say it ain't so...

Congrats.

We used to start after Labor Day and end at Memorial Day when I was a child. These three extra weeks of added schooling has vaulted KY to #45 in educational standards in the nation. :scared:

.

To make things worse? I'm in charge today :rotfl2:..

Free booze?

Enjoy. Anything planned?

. lol

Yeah, Miami is too far. Just need a place to permanently park the camper. Maybe I can sneak it into FW & no one will notice. :lmao:

Ahhh. Like our dear friend the cuttlefish.:lmao::rotfl2:
.

Aye!

Woo-Hoo!:cool1::cool1: Internal portion of audit complete, only contact with them now will be via email and then everything is done other than the filing in September. Footnotes finished, calculations verified.:thumbsup2

Now a few more days of work and I'll be ready to head to sunny WDW without leaving anything undone.

or for the english speaking folks

Happy Birthday CASEY!!!!

Happy Birthday Casey! Or a belated one if I have crossed the international dateline and it is tomorrow. Or the day after tomorrow.

Flyers fan here. We enjoy drafting young players with immense talent, trading them away when we get impatient, and watching them win Stanley Cups with other teams. :sad2:

For a minute there, I thought you were talking about the Marlins.

FREEDOM!

Well, except for the bill paying part.

For a minute there, I thought you were talking about the Marlins.

:rotfl:

And yet they still have the same number of championships as my team.

Sounds very familiar.....you sure your not talking about the Leafs.

Either way I feel your pain.

Send a little of that rain this way. We are dry as a bone here.

I'm glad that she is handling it better than expected (since I'm not sure what was expected to begin with). :lmao:

I'm sure Max will do well and I hope he makes the most of this opportunity that you'll be torturing yourself to pay for. :thumbsup2

Rob, Great job by you and your wife on getting you son to a place (physically, mentally, and spiritually) where you are all Happy with.

A little something about being a Empty Nester, Rob, CJ and the rest of you.

Your child(ren) has/have moved out. In a few short years they have come of age. They will come home and say something like, "Hey Pop, how you doing? Do you want a beer? Do you mind if I get one?" And that supply of beer you HAD is now gone, and don't expect your child(ren) to fill it back up. So stock up! You've been warned!

(Yes Rob, I know that Max doesn't like the taste of beer, I didn't ether when I was his age. I learned Better and I'm sure he will too!)

Congrats and best wishes to Max. Now that you are in the mood, just keep setting aside money and when mine are ready I will forward the bills on to you.

Ouch. Funny how they always "look around" but never roll up their sleeves and do anything to help out.

In NY it was always Wednesday after Labor Day until the 3rd week in June. SWMBO and DD will be back on Sunday or Monday but we have commitments at the State Fair next week so I think things at our homeschool academy will kick off on the 19th. Not soon enough for me and I wish the public schools gave more homework. There are 3 local girls that have been spending far too much time coming by to visit my son. Hopefully he is smarter than his dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Words of wisdom from the oracle so listen up youngsters...

and get off his lawn!!!! :lmao:

I'm fortunate that my dad only likes light beer so whenever people bring something other than that he sets it aside for me. :thumbsup2
