Now that sounds likes like a cool trip! Driving out West from here would be quite a haul! I think I'd fly somewhere West first, then drive. Much more fun to rent a car anyway!

Jodi and I flew to Phoenix and drove to the Yosemite, with stops at the Grand Canyon and Vegas. It was springtime and beautiful.

Well, looks like I'm getting a garage! It's a detached 2-car 24x24.

Beer fridge is going to be a go, but probably no TV. Well, maybe a vcr or old playstation, but nothing live. Still, I'll be able to play the Stratocaster plugged in and amped up without disturbing the family. (just the neighbors)

And this is on TOP of the WDW vacation. (though, the DVC $ is going into a garage, so a little give & take)
It's been a good spring.

I was going to fix the dryer when I got home from work (10min job) after going to the parts store (has to be ordered) it now looks like it will be Sat or Mon before the $19 part will arrive, and this is how a 10min job turns into a week project

The sun is shining… it’s going to be a lovely day… But I still have to work so I won’t know anything about it.

Ehhhh… can’t win ‘em all.

I always wanted to rent a convertible and make the drive. But, neither DW nor dds like having the windows down in the car now, much less a convertible. Yeah, it may be to fly to Vegas, rent car to Canyon and DL, and then the rest of the trip. I could handle that as well. I pulled up the trip on Google Maps once. That Interstate ride west opposite TX looks brutal.

Both of these sound like excellent road trips. I know I’d like to do something similar. Congrats to Randall for pulling it off, and Norm: I hope you can convince the rest of the crew to go for it.

DW sings in a wedding Saturday, so wedding rehearsal Friday night, then a graduation party after that, wedding Saturday, Mothers Day with my Mom Sunday afternoon and Mothers Day with her Mom Sunday evening. A lot of family time, which is good, but it isn't going to be much fun being on the go all weekend with a 2 week old in tow.
