Made a few non-Disney reservations today! First... bought tickets for dinner and reserved seating to see Third Day at Busch Gardens on June 24th. What's cool about this particular concert with Third Day is that they are having local bands submit videos to see who will play with them. Pretty sweet deal for those who make it.

Secondly, finally hit submit on reservations for Cedar Point on 7/2. Will be at Breakers Express for a one night stay... but bought the 2 day ride and slide package. My DD is going to go bonkers when she find out we get to go to a water park one day then the amusement park the next day. Going to be a cool visit. Hope you got some time off to come see us, Scott!

Haven't seen them in concert but they are good

Disgusting. And today, from president, we got email about 12% cuts and some transparency committee will be sending the secret report on where to make cuts for next 2 years. Hopefully, I am ok, but they could announce a health insurance premium increase or decrease in benefits. Either way, the top get to make their money and pay low tax % while I and others in my range get screwed some more. BTW, since these job creators have had tax cuts for over a decade, where are all the Beverly jobs? Oops. Forgot the sheep mantra - don't illustrate whopping holes in logical argument.

No increase in health insurance premiums but co-pays are up and some decrease in benefits. No raises until next year, possibly. Just wrapping up another 14 hour day where they "encouraged" me to get more grant dollars. Boy do I fell encouraged.

Picked strawberries all afternoon, and collected data on them all evening. As much as I like my strawberry work I am glad the season is coming to an end with this heat wave.

‘As an aside… my DW would faint if I got her flowers. It’s not that I don’t give her things (actually she pretty much gets near anything and every thing she wants so long as I can afford it). I just see cut flowers as a poor investment given their transient nature. Better a gift that will get used for a longer period of time. If she asked for them specifically, she'd get ‘em. If I pick the gift in question, it will be either something heartier, or an experience that can be remembered (like trip to WDW).

I am with you on the flowers. I get them sometimes cause I know she likes the gesture. but I would think the actual plant would be so much better. Then she could plant it and have the flowers for more than just a few days.

So this is where I'm supposed to post now that I've found you guys, is that correct?

Next trip is coming up in July and I know I'm more excited about it than the rest of the family.

Hope he feels better soon! Audrey would go through spells like this, days on end of fevers. Usually ended up being an infection somewhere. It always freaked us out, but always worked out fine

Thanks. Just frustrating to not be able to pinpoint what exactly is going on with him. fever was a little bit lower in the afternoon and we were hoping it had broke, but at bed time it was back up again. Keeping fingers crossed for a better day for him tomorrow.

DS 6 will have his tonsils out on 11th. Mothers day present for the wife LOL.
Doctor said he has double bubble tonsils and that is a good possibility as to why he holds on to colds and gets sick so often. I hope it helps.

Sorry to hear about your son. Prayers he is better soon. As for th pay, I told you not to say anything. People always question my hours, but I find that the more I am out of the office the better things are. As for the radio, parts of my county still don't have high speed Internet. Livin vicariously thru NY technology.

the bursitis in my elbow is feeling better today. alot of aspercream and salonpas pain patches and its feeling better...

as reported last night, my old sciatic nerve is not happy with all the action from monday. so, i have tammy, who is thrilled to help, putting aspercream on that and salonpas pain patches on that now.

i love getting old!!!!

Never tried on-line check in. Glad it was successful for you. Today is laundry day. Why? Because I take off to Orlando on Friday. Starting to get excited about it.

It's super frustrating...Audrey can't break fevers with any of the fever meds either, temp relief, but it always goes back up untill we get to the hospital and get it treated. Fortunately her immune system is starting to strenghen now, and it happens less and less.
