i just got done eating. now we wait! :rotfl: my guts feel alot better tonight im sure ill be fine.

in other health news........

the bursitis in my elbow is feeling better today. alot of aspercream and salonpas pain patches and its feeling better...

as reported last night, my old sciatic nerve is not happy with all the action from monday. so, i have tammy, who is thrilled to help, putting aspercream on that and salonpas pain patches on that now.

i love getting old!!!! :lmao:

About 5 years ago, I hit my elbow pretty hard on the end of a 2x4 and ruptured a bursa. Now I have this calcified deposit in my elbow. It doesn't hurt until you lean on it just right. I'm told it is an easy operation, but that would require a trip to the Dr. :faint:

Every go to the chiropractor for the Sciatic? I have a lot of food sensitivities, so usually foods that causes the chain reaction for me.

Morning everyone. :surfweb:

So is everyone else up by choice or not by choice? I have a 17mo old DD that likes to get up at 6am every morning. This morning, she came walking in to our room with a book, smelling like raspberries. She must have found one in the dining room that we missed. Looks like a little spot cleaning to do.

So what's everyone up to today? I'm going to get the heck out of the office today and go make some sales calls. :yay: First time out since DD (3 weeks) was born.

We will be there(in Fla ) Aug 24th -31st. We are staying right across the street from Disney So I should be able to sneak a meet or two in. Will probably golf one of the Disney courses
Hmmmmm..... :scratchin I'll have to look at the schedule and see what I can fit in. :thumbsup2

My shaving soap maker is from Wisconsin!
Do yourself a favor - don't look at the list of ingredients. You may not like what you see :rolleyes1
Watching the news and a group of Brooklyn moms are protesting the building of a Hooters near the new Nets arena. Lighten up ladies. The name Hooters is in reference to the sound an owl makes. Right?
Makes sense to me. There's an owl right there in the logo. :confused3

Wine? Probably. Depends if it was Mad Dog 20/20, Two Buck Chuck or something a little more palatable.

Morning

I love using my taste buds to collect data on strawberries I could do it all day and night:thumbsup2

:rotfl: Unfortunately it was berry weights and number of berries per quart.

It is an excellent product and for those that don't use shaving soap she makes bacon scented candles, bath soaps, and can probably do a bacon scented aftershave balm.

Good Mornin Dads

Morning!

Good Morning Gentlemen

Gentlemen? You know us better than that.

‘Morning all…
We’er looking at temp in the 90s today, high humidity (which is normal) and no wind (which is also often normal)… so much for spring.

Morning everyone. :surfweb:

Of course not. If it's not your young’ens that get you up early, your employer still expects as much.

(except for Stopher and those other of y’all that rule your own worlds… hat’s off to ya’ gents).

Does that go for the cheese as well or just everything else produced up that’a way?
:rolleyes1

I certainly hope so! :rotfl2:

90's and humid....too much for me. I'll take the 70's and partly sunny. We had an early spring. My Day Lillys are a month ahead of schedule. Everything is!

I work from home...I roll out of bed just in time to get in the office...only problem working from home, I'm always at work!

Harsh winter… harsh summer… there’s always a trade off.
(unless you live in Hawaii, but then there’s the added expense)

Everything’s early down here as well which is both good and bad.

Unless you’re good at turning it off… that can certainly be a problem.

I do work from an office, but they still expect me to have connectivity and still expect unpaid overtime, evening and weekend work on demand. It’s just the way it’s done now.
:sad2:

um We never rule our own world. Being your own boss really translates into you have more bosses. You just have to answer to more people not just one. You are always working for someone. being your own boss so to speak just makes it easier to set your own hrs. Which is usually more then if you just worked for someone.::yes::

We get all 4 seasons here in Minnesota, which is nice. Early spring is usually my least favorite:
1. Ice fishing ends
2. It's brown, wet, dirty, sometimes smells funny outside.

My oldest brother lives in San Diego: 68 & sunny every day!

Yeah, turning off work is sometimes hard to do. Sometimes hard to go to work (rare, I have a fun job). In Technical Sales, you're always on call and connected. Laptops w/ mobile internet, iPad, SmartPhone....we can't hide anywhere, then again, don't want to hide from my customers....speaking of which, I better go get ready to go. Gonna go close my next WDW vacation money!

Have a great day everyone. TTL

But are you putting in all that extra time doing something you love to do or is it just a job? I suspect that for you, it’s the first one and that’s a very good thing. :thumbsup2

I have to honestly admit that I once loved what I did for a living, but that’s just not quite true any more. Given my obligations, chucking it just ain’t an option and besides, those things I do enjoy doing, just don’t pay well (or consistently).

I specialize in wheelchair access. So I must say yes I do love the fact that I am helping people make the best of their situations.I could do any kind of work but helping others it really the reward(pay).I also, though not a job work many many hrs a week at the little league. This I truly love to do.Again many chiefs but not enough indians. Then there is my third job with scouts. again not e real job, but another thing I love to do. So yea I guess you can say I LOVE MY JOB !!
