Just how old are you?

As old as my tongue and a little bit older than my teeth. :rotfl2:

48 next year. My in-laws were grandparents by the time they were my age :scared1:

I don't notice too much until days like today or when I am around my cousins. I was the youngest of the cousins and my dad was the youngest of his siblings. I have cousins that have grandkids older than my kids.

Sounds like a great day Chris! :thumbsup2

I just came in from a 19 mile run, on the heels of a 9 mile run yesterday morning. A bit tired, but feeling pretty confident that I'll be able to finish the Goofy Challenge standing up in 4 weeks... Maybe some shopping today, then a family holiday party tonight, should be fun.

Hope everyone has a great day!
Today was supposed to be a 22 miler for me, but I wound up in a meeting at work for 5 hours instead. Now I just need to find some time tomorrow to cram that in.

I can't wait to get my mileage up. My week at Disney set me back a little. I was experiencing some hip pain this week so I am taking a couple of days off :headache:

DW's hip has been bothering her too. She's upset as its really cut into her training for the half.

This is my last weekend off befor the holidays....Getting ready to head to the school for Ethan's basketball game...I am hoping he can make some more points!!:cheer2: This afternoon the church is having a thing where they watch the kids from 3-8 giving the parents time to shop or just have date night. We are going to use that time to wrap gifts and purge some unwanted toys and get ready for new ones to arrive. All in all I think it is going to be a busy day but enjoyable day!!! One the pain front ...today seems much beter so far@!!!!!!:cool1: Hope a great day everyone

Glad your feeling better Steve...

I survived the Four year old birthday party and my frantic wife:lmao::lmao:

My god she can be a task master when she's focused:rotfl2:

I increased Miller's profit bottom line last night:rotfl2:

How much did those 4 years olds drink?

Life has a way of happening but each day you are on the green side of the sod is a good day. Even if you have been up all night with child with a stomach virus. Now I realize again why people are supposed to have their kids when they are younger.

Hope everyone's feeling better there.

Hi everyone, new member here. Not sure at this point what all goes on here. But this thread has 51 pages in just over 2 weeks so what ever goes on here must be good. LOL

Welcome Bill. Quantity doesn't always mean Quality

My name is Bill, age 52. Married with 2 DS's. First went to Disneyland at the age of 8. All I can remember of the trip was It's A Small World, thus that attraction is still my all time favorite. Been to WDW 6 times now, with my next visit coming up in January, a solo visit as none of the family could go. Have loved anything Disney my entire life. I truly believe that WDW is the greatest place on earth. Probably on the low end of wage earners here in the club thus the reason for the few trips. But Disney is always part of my every day life. Hope to make some new friends here. Thanks for letting me join.

Welcome aboard! Anybody that loves IASW can do no wrong in my book.

Thanks for the birthday wishes for my DW guys! And happy birthday to Mrs. Duck and GoHerd DD as well!

Just gave DW her present (a Richard Petty driving experience when we're down at WDW this February. I think she guessed it (or the kids clued her in), but she still loved it! Thanks for the advice guys!

I am so jelaous that I am GREEN with envy!! I have always wanted to do that!!! Awesome birthday gift!!!!

It has been a great day here and I hope everyone has been blessed with a day as good as ours!!!:cool1: Lauren turned 5 officialy today so eventhough we had a party with friends last weekend we made today special for her too. Heck it isnt every day you turn a whole hand!!princess: We went to our new church closer to home this morning and had a great service and then this evening attended the Christmas Dinner at our old church and they presented Shari a plaque (surprising her) for her 32 years of being the church pianist and 25 years as a Sunday School teacher. Naturally she shed a few tears, but it was a nice gesture that they made. I managed to get my dis dad gift exchange gift packaged up and ready to hit the mail!:thumbsup2 I am back to normal from the horrors of the kidney stone and hope that I dont have to travel that road eer again! :rotfl2:Well, that about sums it all up....have a great rest of the weekend and a great start of the week! I am on call a lot of this week so I will stop in off and on when I can!!!

Welcome Bill.... Sounds like you'll fit in just fine here.

It's not about how much money you have - or how often you go, it's just the appreciation for all things Disney and a group of folks to share it with.

I have been there 6 times as well - 7 next year. We are looking to make the journey to Anaheim probably in 2013.

Steve that's awesome that you and the Mrs. give so much back to the community, and even more awesome to be recognized and appreciated for the effort, it all somehow makes it seem worthwhile.

Well done and congrats to the Shari.
Big Thumb >> :thumbsup2

Happy Birthday to Lauren - 5 is quite the milestone. :tink:

Yeah, we have a wierd mix like that. Now, I am 10 years your junior, but my dad is 78 and mom 68. My FIL and MIL are both 58, and Grand-MIL is 82. So, it confuses my children.

Today was supposed to be a 22 miler for me, but I wound up in a meeting at work for 5 hours instead. Now I just need to find some time tomorrow to cram that in.

That's awesome. I am trying to exercise and lose weight, and this last month's back pain has really set-me back. But, I was able to walk about an hour today with a few 1 min jogs in between. It's a start.

Welcome Bill. It's a crazy place in here, but that's mostly because Norm keeps spiking the Dole Whips. Other than that, it's ... well, let's face it. It's still crazy.

ItI am back to normal from the horrors of the kidney stone and hope that I dont have to travel that road eer again!!!!

Glad to see the Doc is no longer as stoned as I. Of course, my drinking does seem to interfere with my exercise habits as well. I did win a pint of Hennessey cognac in a game of Dirty Santa, so it would be anti-Christmas not to partake.

Anyone else ever have this problem.....

My wife noticed two unknown amazon marketplace charges that hit her debit card for a total of almost $120! :scared1:

The scarier part is she doesn't even have an amazon account and has never purchased anything from them!

Of course it's too late to call our bank tonight. Already talked to amazon and they are "looking into it".

Tell her that I am sorry .... I told Amazon to not let those charges show until after the holidays!:rotfl2:

Seriously, we just had the same sort of situation with Justice. Shari had made some purchases but then there was another purchase that went through the next day on our account that was not our. The CC company took care of it. Does your debit card have a 24 hour access number on the back to get customer service?? Tis the season for this sort of thing unfortunatley!!

It was great to meet you Brian. Thanks for taking the time to come into town on a Sunday evening.

Not specifically with Amazon but I had charges on one of my debit cards from Barcelona over the summer, and DW just had something charged to her card from somewhere in Europe a couple of weeks ago.

Ended up being a good football day. My team overcame a horrible first half to storm back and win... and my fantasy team kicked some butt in the first round of the playoffs, thanks to Gronk and MJD mostly. My opponent still has Stephen Jackson tomorrow night, but I am up by 60 points, so I feel pretty good about my chances.

Yikes. I don't do much online shopping at all, but do use Amazon and Disney most often. I have not had any issues. If she did not have an account, then that means someone must have stolen the account info, created an account, and ordered the info. I know that shipping addresses can be different for customer service and gifts, but I imagine a lot of this fraud would stop if they required billing and shipping address to be the same. I'm not sure about debit card, but I thought that with a credit card, the billing addresses had to match. I would guess that would be hard to do without an inside theft job somewhere.

I think you're ok if up by 60. Thus far, I am having a great fantasy weekend - sweep in all my leagues - despite my own stupidity. I sat Laurent Robinson because he was questionable with a shoulder injury. As of now, I won the matchup by .65. If there is a stat correction, then I am out as well as beverlyed and peanut buttered for outthinking myself.

Hey there guys. Just got back from meeting with Andy. He's a great guy and a huge UK fan. (who would have guessed? :confused3) :rotfl2:

It was really nice to meet you Andy and worth the trip into the city for sure.

Welcome Bill! Just got back from a long nite at MK tonight. Finished off with IASW and the ride tonight just seemed so alive. my first time was also at DL when I turned 10. The only ride I remembered for a while was Space Mountain but since having started coming to WDW last year, they've all come back to me. Quite amazing how those memories linger in your subconscious!
