The real loser is any chance of a Disney Trip in 2012, this pretty much put the nail in the coffin. It'll make 2013 all the more sweeter :thumbsup2 At least the money earmarked for new brakes can now go to an Xbox 360 :rolleyes1

Well, that's one of my many problems. We are going to go to WDW every year, whether or not the money is earmarked for it. I mean, we charge the trip and pay it off when I return, but that money simply comes out of savings. I want to save more money, but what I don't spend on Disney vacations, DW spends on children. I guess I've finally accepted this over the years.

Nope, not bitter, nosiree-bob. Ebenezer Scrooge would look at this and go, "Gee, what a bunch of @#$&*%@!s....":lmao:

:rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

Somehow that phrase caught me just right. Now that's funny. And also REALLY sad. I think there is a great political cartoon in that statement...

Happy Birthday Mrs. Duck and Mrs. Doc.

Haven't seen a bonus for years now at my work. Can't complain though, we've had mega layoffs over the last few years - so gotta just be happy to still be working...

... Car payments stink... We are still very blessed and do what we can to help others, but watching the greed at these highest levels really makes me sick.

Life has a way of happening but each day you are on the green side of the sod is a good day. Even if you have been up all night with child with a stomach virus. Now I realize again why people are supposed to have their kids when they are younger.

Dw and I agreed to every other year trip, and by going this year, we really strained the budget to the point we are still catching up. In-laws are going down in March, will give them a small list to grab a few things to tide us over till then. Next year will be other stuff...rent a cottage for a week, Great Wolf Lodge etc...Also it'd be nice to get a house one day, instead of cramped in an apartment...

Good, maybe the Majors can play again today and put forth a better effort. :sad2:

I agree. We did a week at Panama City Beach in room. Without having Disney theme parks and other activities, a house is definitely the way to go.

Thanks for the birthday wishes for my DW guys! And happy birthday to Mrs. Duck and GoHerd DD as well!

Just gave DW her present (a Richard Petty driving experience when we're down at WDW this February. I think she guessed it (or the kids clued her in), but she still loved it! Thanks for the advice guys!

Not this time. The kids and I will watch.

Welcome, new guy (simzac)! Feel free to introduce yourself & jump in! Don (Emma's dad) will be along to give you a number. Please feel free to join us on FB or disdads dot com as well.

Welcome back, CJ!

My name is Bill, age 52. Married with 2 DS's. First went to Disneyland at the age of 8. All I can remember of the trip was It's A Small World, thus that attraction is still my all time favorite. Been to WDW 6 times now, with my next visit coming up in January, a solo visit as none of the family could go. Have loved anything Disney my entire life. I truly believe that WDW is the greatest place on earth. Probably on the low end of wage earners here in the club thus the reason for the few trips. But Disney is always part of my every day life. Hope to make some new friends here. Thanks for letting me join.

Welcome aboard. Dues include a Dole Whip and bacon for every dad. Just get them in the mail. As far as something good here, not likely. Just jump in and enjoy the ride.

Awesome.

I win the best birthday present, as I take DW to WDW every year. Now, she thinks it doesn't count because her birthday is Oct 12, and our Fall Break falls on Columbus Day when we go. I still an taking credit.

Welcome Bill. It's a crazy place in here, but that's mostly because Norm keeps spiking the Dole Whips. Other than that, it's ... well, let's face it. It's still crazy.

But WELCOME!
