DDA's New Year's Weight Loss accountability Thread

We cooked out last night & I had Gary grill some portabella mushrooms for me. I brushed them with olive oil & sprinkled pepper on them. I ate these on a wheat bun with low fat swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, & mustard. I thought it was very good. The only thing is they seemed to be real juicy after cooking them. Is this how they are or did I do something wrong?

I also had Gary throw some Oscar Mayer light hot dogs on the grill, guess what I am having for lunch :thumbsup2

May 29,2007 I committed to my diet yet again. With only 53 days left until our WDW trip and I still NEED to lose 12.2 lbs. I know that I can do this, but if you see a day pass without my daily diary entry PLEASE PM me. Ridicule works for me so feel free :goodvibes

I had low cal high fiber mini muffins for breakfast this morning 2 pts
WW bagel with low fat ham, fat free cheese and kethcup with a pickle for lunch 4 pts

I plan to have a Smart Ones on Lean Cuisine Dinner before I go to work. If I'm full hopefully I won't be tempted to snack.

I've also had a flavored water and a diet coke plus today.

Daily Points allowance is 20 points.

My morning weigh in was 142.2 :eek:

I am right there with you Deb on the recommitment to get my act together thing...we know we can do it cause we've done it before.

I am so embarrased to post this, but I am honest :sad2:. I faced some mighty loud music tonight. I gained 7.5lbs in the 2 weeks I missed WW for the week leading up to & the week of vacation. I can only imagine how much worse it would have been had I not been walking daily on the beach about 3 miles & biking about every other day while there. Good lord. I know I ate way more than ususal but 7.5lbs :scared1:.

It's in the past & I am heading on into the future....I have that all imporant meet & greet with my man Rick 1 month from today & it sure would be nice to be back to where I was before vacation. I can do it with a little help from my friends.

Hi everyone! Sounds like some ups and downs around lately. Deb and Melanie, you're going to do great this week! Just being back on plan and drinking your water should shed a few pounds the first couple of weeks.

I'm not sure where I am. I forgot to weigh in until after I'd drank almost a whole bottle of water so I'll try to do it in the morning. From my randoms steps on the scale, I think that I am up about 2lbs over the last few weeks. Considering two trips, a funeral and all of the other crazy stuff around here lately I figure that isn't too bad. There's still a ways to go though so I've got to get moving. I'm managed to exercise 3 of the last 5 days so that is good. Food is going pretty well this week as well though I need to start my tracking again so that I can be sure of what I'm eating.

Congrats on all of the losses this week!!!
 
Deb's Daily Diary day 2:

I did well yesterday though my dinner may have put me over my daily points, but not by much. I am down 1 lb this morning which is great motivation. I know that I always lose a few lbs quickly when I stay on a plan, but at least it is in the right direction

Today's weight 141.2

Day left until WDW 52 and hours :goodvibes

Hopefully Colby and I can get a walk in this morning.

So the official weigh in this morning does have me up 2lbs. Still, it could have been a lot worse with the things eaten and served around here lately. Hopefully things will be looking "down" next week. I've been doing good on my water, working on my food and trying to get the exercise in.

We all know you can do this Deb :cheer2:

When I still feel hungry I go for a granola bar or yogurt. It is hard somedays. My newest kick is Nature Valley chewy trail mix bars, I love them! I buy alot of the 100 calorie snack packs, this helps me with my portion controls.

49 days to go.

Morning weigh in 139.6 :cool1: I'm back under 140 lbs

My goal is still 130 lbs. This week hasn't been too bad, but I am really having to space out my meals and snacks. I'm feeling hungry, but i know that 1/2 hour won't kill me. I've been much better about drink water and/or crystal light instead of diet soda. I've cut back to just 2 per day instead of for all my fluid intake :eek: Tonight may be hard as we are camping out at school. I know that there will be s'mores. I think I'll bring a Hershey 100 calorie bar and make mine with that. I bet (guessing here) that it would be about 4 points for a marshmellow, 100 calorie bar and graham cracker. does that sound right? I will also take plenty of water with me :thumbsup2
 
That sound good to me Deb...2 pts for 100cal choc, 1 pt for 2 sqaures graham cracker & 1 pt for 2 marshmallows...I looked it up.

I was soooooooo hungry when I got home from work tonight, but I made myself a salad with red wine vinegar & now I am ok until dinner. :cool1: 4 full days of back on track here too!!!! Yippee.

Janet....I love the 100 cal packs too..they are great for portion control.
 
I've been a good girl today. I've eaten 16 points and left myself 4 for my smore. I should be all set. I also packed plenty of water to make sure I get it all in. I'm sure I'll earn a few extra exercise points tonight too. I have a 2 point cookie just in case I have to eat something else. I also packed my 2 pt muffin pack for breakfast :thumbsup2 I'm planning ahead, can you believe it?
 
Deb's Diary day 5

I went to the campout and did not cheat :cool1: That is a huge accomplishment since there were all kinds of breakfast goodies. I brought my own candy bar and had my 4 point s'more before bed :cool1: And ate my 2 point muffins for breakfast. Now I will eat lunch before going to the BBQ then I won't mess up there either.

I didn't weigh in this morning since I wasn't home. We'll see how tomorrow looks.
