So we went to the mall, I sent Katie into Hollister & I took the other 2 next door to Gamestop. 1/2 hour later she comes out with one item...a little skirt for $45.

Sophie & Daniel spent their giftcards that they got for the holidays. Of course Daniel got a DS game & Sophie got herself a cute shirt at Justice with a big daisy on it.

We had lunch at Chick-fil-A & now they are getting ready for bed & some board games. They bickered too much along the way (he looked at me, she touched me! etc:rolleyes:) & since they have been together for 4 days straight they have met the saturation point of getting on each others (& my):laughing:nerves! Yay, school tomorrow!:teacher:

I just scored 4 one day park hopper tickets to WDW for the 8th Grade Basket Raffle :cool1::cool1::cool1: I am psyched. Hopefully some other big ones will come in. Of course I'm going to have to buy some tickets for the WDW tickets.:cool1::thumbsup2

Awesome!

I am not sure if Allegiant Air flies near you but I know in the past they have donated airfare. The instructions are on their website how to apply for it.

Robyn that is so awesome. I hope this is what you're meant to do:thumbsup2

Allegiant isn't near us. I did solicity Jet Blue and I plan to do southwest, but I need to get an actual copy of the 501 for that. I wanted to try Hershey, but we're not considered in their area.

Guess what?!?!!

I got the position at the center right around the corner from my house!!!!! Actually, I was to interview for an Infant & Toddler lead, but they called me an hour before the interview and told I was short the "experience" and 1 certification class. But they wanted me to bring in my college transcript and basic certifications so they could add it to my resume. I did that yesterday morning and briefly, like all of 5 minutes, talked to the director. She said she'd hold onto my resume and call me when they had something available. I was a bit sad, but imagine my surprise when I got a phone call yesterday afternoon offering me a 4 year old teaching assistant spot. It is not as much money, but the money saved on gas and commuting will be worth it!!! I start February 8th. So I get a few more days to enjoy the girls and what not!!
Congrats!!!!!

I had a fantastic time in NYC yesterday. I went to ESPNzone and we used the D23 special where you show your card and get a burger, non-alcoholic drink and $15 of game play for $20. They had not had anybody do this promo yet at this location, so after research on their part we would good to go.

After that I wondered the city some and then headed to see Mary Poppins on Broadway. I had an awesome seat, as I was in the center of the 4th row of Mezzanine. The ticket was about half price. The show was great, I loved it the cast did a great job. We went and waited at the backstage door. It was after 2am till I got home. Then I went to work, I should be exhausted but am pretty awake. I am heading to bed soon.

You can check out my pictures on Facebook.

Two of my friends from college have lost their Dads in the past 3 days. The one died from a freak accident, a beverage cart slid on him and they could not get it off of him. The other one died of cancer, his Grandson Mason was the baby I had asked you to keep in your prayers as he was born prematurely. Baby is doing fine and came home from the hospital at the start of the year. So don't forgot to tell your family how much you love them.:goodvibes

Okay I am really starting to hate fall and winter and the germs that go with it.

Olivia has strep throat again.
:wizard:Hope she's better real soon!!!!

Bernadette - what's the news in Mass.? I'm anxious to hear the results.
I'm sure you've heard by now. I am so glad it is over! We had at least 20 automated phone calls this weekend and the nasty ads on TV were non stop. I went to vote early and it was busy!

Guess what?!?!!

So sorry for your friends' losses.

I'm just doing backups of my photos so I can erase my memory cards.

I can't remember when I last posted. I did manage to finish Emma's birthday dress, her Safari shirt (still need to sew on the buttons-can do that on the plane or in the hotel room), and her safari PJ's. I got her quilted jacket almost done but it just wasn't working-cute idea but it didn't come together well so I had to give up on it.

A neighbor is going to get Lizzy to band with her daughter Lizzy's age and get Joe on the bus with her son Joe's age. That way DH can take me to the airport and help me get the luggage checked in.

I'm still not feeling 100% but am hoping I'll feel better in Florida. The weather forecast looks good. I'm sure Emma will have a blast. She is SOOOOOO excited!!!

Yes, I did. :)

Have a wonderful trip! I'm so glad you are going to have nice weather!

Good morning. :)

The kids and I have routine dental appts. this morning. I'm going to inquire about braces for Nicholas. At what age do they usually do them nowadays?

Katie got hers at 11 & she still has them on. They want to see Daniel next year (he will be 11 then too)

Good morning...my kids had 4 days off so everyone was dragging this morning trying to get up.

We are out of everything...t.p., bread, detergent..you name it, we don't have it!:rotfl: So I'll have to hit Target some time today.

Thansk. Do you remember if they waited until their 12 yr. molars came in?

Yes, that is what they are waiting for with Daniel. I brought him in last summer & the Dr mentioned that we needed to wait.

We had our first consult when DS was 8, and the guy wanted to put them on IMMEDIATELY. Yeah. Nice try, buddy. Oh, and he wanted to do 2 phases. Put them on, take them off, put more on later. I can not even imagine how expensive that would have been.

DS ended up getting them when he was 10 (he only had one baby tooth left), and we were completely finished in less than 2 years. He does need to have his wisdom teeth out so they don't mess up all the work. Last time we saw the dentist he mentioned having them done now, while the teeth are still "buds" without serious roots. I need to research that. That could be a project for this summer AFTER we get home from WDW.
