Debbie very nice dress. My aunt used to sew also, even making all the gowns for a cousins wedding, but she stopped for the same reason.

Lets see who else can I ask about?

Anyone know how Stephanie is doing? Its been a really long time since she has posted, but I am sure she is busy too.

Elizabeth - do you get overtime?

Yes, but I am tired of working extra hours so I don't WANT the money. :rotfl2: Obviously working and being paid is better than working and NOT being paid, though. HOPEFULLY today and tomorrow will be regular days.

Debbie - your photos are delightful!

Wow! That is an intricate dress! I bet it took a long time to finish it. It is beautiful. :goodvibes

Nothing new here. Princess has a play date after swimming lessons. I'll bring her home for a nap after that.

We got the report from the neuropsych yesterday but he didn't include the invoice - he said that will be sent separately. Not that I WANT the invoice, but I would like to get it paid before we leave.

Debbie what a pretty dress!

Elizabeth I hope you are able to get home early today!

Marci & Beth nice to see you pop in :goodvibes

Elizabeth - I hope today's hours (even though paid) are shorter!

Well we got the closet cleaned out & I now have 2 large bags of clothes to drop off at Goodwill today. Besides the X boxes, video games, books, & a few stuffed animals that the boys just will not part with there are no longer any type of toys in the room

In a way it is sad because it means the boys are getting older, but then I am so happy to not have to go through all that crap anymore & figure out what to keep!

Yes they are. That must have been the color back then. I was a flower girl too when I was young and the dresses were peach as well!

I think it is sweet that you have teenage BOYS and that they will not give up their sentimental stuffies. :goodvibes

Good morning. :)

Last evening Alyssa started running a fever, so I'm going to keep her home today just in case. I was already planning on leaving work early because we all have dentist appts this afternoon, so now I just won't go in at all. Nicholas had a follow-up with the ped. yesterday. They still have no idea what could be causing his tummy trouble. She recommended increasing his fiber, with a supplement, and gave me a prescription for something that is to control spasms, so that is more of an as needed thing. He has been fine for the most part, so I'm thinking a lot of it has to do with stress or nervousness.

Yep they want to hang onto them :goodvibes So they are all sitting on the top shelf.

Tammi I hope Alyssa feels better as the day goes on & continued :wizard: for Nicholas!

Ann Marie, I don't know if these were already done for you. I can change the borders around if there is something else that you would prefer.

pixiedust: that they are both feeling perfectly healthy soon!

Yay for decluttering! I really, really need to do that. There is so much stuff in my kids rooms that they don't even use, but they are horrible at parting with things. Once school starts, I may box it and hide it and see if they ask for anything. Then I can get rid of what they don't ask for. (Of course, I'm as bad as they are and lazy to boot, so we'll see...)

Elizabeth sorry your work days have been so long. Just keep thinking your trip will be here soon

I gave up on Pinecone when they changed how much you get paid. Some of those surveys were just to tedious.

Elizabeth, ditto!

I haven't given up on Pinecone, but they may have given up on me. I haven't had a survey request in a long, long time. It was much better at $5 than $3, especially when it's so infrequent.

Good morning, DDA! I have to get ready soon to go to a meeting with the manager of the Boys and Girls Club to talk pool pricing for next year. The head coach has been in contact with them but wants a couple of the board members to join her for the meeting. They want to really raise the costs for pool time. Additionally, one of the the other coaches is starting a new club (tons of drama this past spring) and has taken about half the team with her. That means fewer girls to cover those pool costs. From the initial projections, I'm not sure that we will be able to keep Laura in synchronized swimming next year. I'll go to this meeting with an open mind but make that point clear, since I'm sure I'm not the only one with those concerns. To be perfectly fair, Laura is waffling about even wanting to swim. If she were head over heels in love with the sport and couldn't imagine her life without it, I'd find a way to pay. But if she's only lukewarm on the whole thing, it may be better for her to find a new passion.

I need a little input. Our preschool currently has a full class of 3-year olds and 5 more on the waiting list. I suggested running a half class with 5-7 and one teacher (me) at the same time their are two additional teachers in the building teaching a very small 4-year old class. The building is tiny, so we'd be very close in case one of them needed to float over to my class for a while. The director is interested in discussing this plan. The church is cheap, and I know that the first concern is going to be money. As long as the tuitions can cover it, do you think that I am justified in expecting the same pay that I get for co-teaching a full-size class of 12-14? If we were going to run a second full class, I am sure that we'd both expect to make the same amount of money.
