Beth - I hope you're feeling better soon! Thanks for the congrats!
Lots of
for you, and for the job! That sounds like a great sign.
Deb, I've used the Jergens brand, and have heard good things about the Loreal that Tammi posted. Probably the one I've had the best experience with (and it seems to show more at first than the others) is done by Bare Minerals. It's not cheap, but you can usually catch a big bottle on sale from QVC a few times a year, and it really works and lasts a while. I like it because it's a dark lotion, so you can really see where you've applied it, spread it evenly, etc. I do find that I have to use plastic gloves when applying it, unlike the Jergens.

that the drops help Nick! I'm glad to hear Riley is eating.
That's great timing!
Poor thing - but at least you know what you're dealing with now. Boatloads of
that the meds really begin working for her. And lots of
to you!
Good Morning All-
Today was the first day all week that there has been any jobs to apply to. It is for a foundation that I read about last year and said "I want to work for them" and viola! there is an ad for a programs assistant.![]()
I am still deep in a funk but at least I recognize where I am and am trying to rectify it.
Off to do the news for TMFL!
Lots of
for you, and for the job! That sounds like a great sign.
I was considering hitting a tanning bed since I'll be in swimwear daily. does the spray tan work? What kind to you use?

I passed my drug test (there was no doubt, but I had to got through the process). Nick is not feeling well. His ear is still bothering him and sudafed hasn't cleared it. He said that the didn't sleep much last night and he is UGLY today. Of course he isn't ready to go to the doctors yet. I did find the numbing drops that Hunter had for his ear infection in October. Either it will clear on its own or we'll have to run him to the doctors this weekend. Riley seems to be eating better today. He ate some during the night and he's been drinking again. He even asked for his milk this morning. He's not out of the woods by any means, but at least he won't be starving to death.
that the drops help Nick! I'm glad to hear Riley is eating.I'll have to get some this weekend.
I ordered a couple of pair of lifeguard board shorts as well as a swimsuit for me and one for Hunter on speedo.com. Thankfully they were having a really good sale. I didn't think I'd get the order until late next week, but UPS is showing delivery tomorrow which will be perfect. I cannot tell you how much I was dreading wearing the Uniform bathingsuit without some sort of added coverage. I will never have a body that would look good in that uniform.
That's great timing!
Deb- Yay for passing your "Whiz Quiz" So glad the shorts will arrive tomorrow for you.
Elise has pneumonia
The good news is, though, we caught it fairly early I think. She's been sick as I mentioned for about 12 days now, and we were going to start antibiotics at the 14 day mark (studies show even if its viral to cover with abs after ..... blah blah blah. you don't care)
Anyway, today she is SIIIICK. Crying out all day, hot as crap (after her Tylenol kicked in her fever was 102), the cough subsided.... that scares me. When coughs subside, you're either better or you have pneumonia. These were the exact words I told my mom on the phone, except I added "in adults". Apparently, the same is true with children.
My poor girl was stuck half a dozen times for blood, etc and had a bunch of xrays.... all on a crappy day anyway. Boo!
I thought you all would want an update. Hopefully it's bacterial and she'll start feeling better with medicines.

)
and
to everyone!
Chanon!
I'm hoping we can redecorate some of our house this summer! I'll have to post some pics of what we are thinking about doing...one room used to be an office and the wall is covered with 1/4 inch cork. I swear they cemented it to the wall...
) on a lens he wouldn't use that much, he just rents it before we go to Kauai, if he's going to be taking any sports pics, etc. I think he normally pays a little over $150 for a week's worth. Just an idea.

Thanks, Terry!
