MyBob got his results from the doctor today. Bloodwork and xrays were fine. But he says he's NOT fine. As long as he keeps himself Motrined up, he's okay. It must just be a bruise and the doctor said it could take several weeks to heal.

So, how long do you think it will be before she has her PawPaw wrapped around her finger?

It looks like it has already happened!!!

We have 2 nights planned near the Grand Canyon...drive through Sedona...stop at Montazuma's Castle...three baseball games...one free day that I'm hoping we can go to the zoo...dinner at Margaritaville...dinner at a place called Rawhide...that's about it. :teeth:

You will love those two places! I have tons of pictures that I took in 2003 when I went to a National Concert with Patrick and his family. There is a Desert Botanical Garden http://www.dbg.org/ as well as Taliesin West (Frank Lloyd Wright's home) http://www.franklloydwright.org/Home.html that are also spectacular and worth thinking about if you have some free time!

Poor guy! I hope he can enjoy your weekend at GWL!

He enjoyed 2 days of skiing with the pain, so I'm thinking he should do okay. Plus, after that, it's hard for him to get any sympathy from me. ;)

I'm going to try to read a few pages before I fall unconscious. Goodnight!

Glad to hear the tests came back ok, hope the soreness goes away soon!

Alan had something similar recently. He was moving his sister and slipped on some grass while carrying one end of a couch. He landed on his back, on a rock, with the couch on his chest. He was positive that he had cracked a rib, but the x-ray didn't show anything. The doctor said it was a deep bruise. The pain lasted from November through January. It still hurts him when he coughs or sneezes, but not when he breathes anymore. I hope Bob feels better soon!

What are you reading? I'm finishing up White Oleander, and then will start I Am the Messenger. I'd forgotten how much reading a person can do when they are nursing!

I'm sorry she so sick but relieved you know what you're dealing with. :wizard: that she gets better real soon.'s

Hoping Elise is feeling better soon!! :wizard:

Sounds like fun, hope you can make it work!

Robyn, you will love GWL! Well, the girls will. ;)

Yes, I just rub it on the tops of my feet and around my ankles. You have to make sure it is rubbed in really well though. Sometimes that's hard to do around all the bones in the ankle area.

Ms. Selfish had orange feet at her wedding. I had to help her with her shoes because she was too pregnant to reach her feet. Yes, pregnant at her own wedding.

Gary made breakfast for us(he wanted me to be sure & tell you that lol). We had french toast, eggs, & bacon.

That sounds yummy! We snarfed down some pizza between band practice and theater.

Lindsay love your new ticker :goodvibes

Me, too! :)

OMG! That sounds horrible! :scared:

Elise has pneumonia :(

The good news is, though, we caught it fairly early I think. She's been sick as I mentioned for about 12 days now, and we were going to start antibiotics at the 14 day mark (studies show even if its viral to cover with abs after ..... blah blah blah. you don't care ;) )

Anyway, today she is SIIIICK. Crying out all day, hot as crap (after her Tylenol kicked in her fever was 102), the cough subsided.... that scares me. When coughs subside, you're either better or you have pneumonia. These were the exact words I told my mom on the phone, except I added "in adults". Apparently, the same is true with children.

My poor girl was stuck half a dozen times for blood, etc and had a bunch of xrays.... all on a crappy day anyway. Boo! :(

I thought you all would want an update. Hopefully it's bacterial and she'll start feeling better with medicines.

Poor Baby, I hope the meds do the trick and she is better soon.

Poor baby!! Hope she feels better soon. Hugs to you.:grouphug: :grouphug:

I've really enjoyed all of the pictures. :dance3:

Debbie, PawPaw's a goner. He's already in love.

Congratulations to all the kids. Get well to all the sickies.

Tammi, enjoy GWL. :goodvibes

I'm off to bed.

I like your new ticker too! Are you still dreaming of Disney around Christmastime though? ;) Or are you gonna bank points and go next winter?

That sounds like a great trip! :goodvibes

We'll see what's in store for this year - we'd like to go for a bit with a good AP rate (or perhaps the 4/3 deal) once we know if we're having a boy or girl so we can buy some things (plus soak up some Disney magic). If my math is accurate, we won't find that out until late May, and we'll still hopefully be going to Kauai in early June - that would mean Disney perhaps sometime in July. I know it will be hot as all get out, so there would need to be a comfy resort with a great pool involved if we go!

As for Christmas, I have our reservations, and it will probably be a wait-and-see thing. I would hate to miss WDW at the holidays. :sad1: My parents were quick to say they would come too to help, so we'll see. Right now, it's unfortunately just too hard to plan in advance! Our DVC UY is October, so we'll have just gotten a new batch, and will have time to use them. (We're out right now!)

Ouch - I hope it heals quickly! :wizard: :wizard:

I think I'm off to bed, too. Thanks for the comments on my ticker. :goodvibes Night, night DDA!

Oh nooooo. Pneumonia takes forever to be completely gone. Hunter had it a few years ago and he could still feel it months later. He certainly improved almost immediately with meds, but it hurt to take a deep breath for a long time :pixiedust: that shw completely recovers quickly and that it is not viral. We wouldn't want Avery to catch it.
