More sickies in the DDA family!! I am sorry to hear that yourBob is sick, Chanon.

Kristin has a nasty cold/upper respiratory thing. She had an upset stomach this morning, but she says it has been gone all day. She thinks it was drainage during the night that caused her discomfort.

Well, the virus made it's way to NE Ohio. Bob was up at 2am this morning and has slept all day long on the couch. I'm trying to wake him up for dinner, but would rather he sleep off his 100.5 degree fever. He has been keeping the fluids in though, so if he does get up, I have soup ready.

Oh No. He should start to feel better really soon though. Try to get some Advil or Aleve into him. It helped us immensely.

I talked to Bob this afternoon and discovered that Kristin and I had no place to sleep when we go to Punxsutawney tomorrow!

So, I called the one hotel in town and booked us a room. My great uncle built this place in 1888 and I worked as a waitress here in HS and college; my boss from way back then is now the owner. Should make for an interesting stay. If we are lucky we might get either Bill Murray's or Harold Ramos' room from their visit back in 1992.

What's the story with Bob's ring? Did it turn up or did you file a claim or none of the above?

I called in a claim today. We looked on Friday for another 2 hours and no luck. We should hear from an adjuster within 2 days or I call again on Friday. I have all the paperwork together (receipt, picture of ring and value) so when he does call I can fax everything over to them immediately.

I better not get this virus! Though the I still have sick time. (Today was Bob's last day...his are use them or loose them - so they are basically vacation days for him.)
He woke up once for 10 minutes at 5pm and has been sleeping since. I'm waking him shortly to get in more fluids.

Bob says that the family has chosen Tuesday for the viewing and Wednesday for the funeral. So, I will head up there Tuesday morning. I don't know whether I will come back after the service on Wednesday or wait until Thursday to come on back.

Elin -- I'm so very sorry. Please pass along to Bob my condolences, and you are all in my prayers.

I am so glad your mouth is healing well!
And YAY for no daycare kids this week! Lucky girl!

Two pieces of good news for our family so far today:

Kristin has tomorrow and Wednesday off... she will go with me.

Kathrin was offered a job! She is waiting to hear from two other companies but this is the one she was hoping to get. She would like a little more money than they are offering, but is hoping that her references and background check reveal that she is worth more without having to ask for it. She will make a final decision on Friday! FINALLY!

Oh my goodness. I'm sorry that Bob is sick. I hope he gets better ASAP and that you don't get it.

Tia your card arrived here today too. It was in a USPS envelope with a note that it arrived opened. I think what she meant was that the card is whole, but the envelope in totally shredded. I'm suprised that the evelope and card weren't separated along the way.

We've been having a great time at WDW. It's incredibly crowded, and though I heard they had cancellations, it's hard to tell it. We came in early tonight, as we're exhausted. I'm sitting here DISing and listening to music from the lobby. Not a bad way to end the day.

Sounds like GF, WL or AKL to me... am I right?

We thought it was crowded last week, but not as crowded as in years past. We actually rode rides on Christmas Day!

Is the 90 day thing permanent? I haven't had to read other boards lately. I was all ready to have my planning done by February.
I like how you said it & theres nothing wrong with that.

Yes, MousePlanet and the DIS are both reporting it as a permanent change. I was all set to call on 2/2. I am just irritated because now it will be harder to get the ADRs I want because the window is so narrow.

Debbie - I hope the meds do the trick for DH's back!! Do you have any of those Therma Care heat wrap things? I usually bring some of those to WDW, just in case.

Well, that's better than mine! I looked through the whole stack, in between pages of magazines, etc thinking the rest had to be somewhere, since they didn't note the damage. It wasn't!
