No Palmerton is not that far from me. The campground is 18 miles from the racetrack, its also near Beltzville Lake, which is also not far from me.

No there is no water park or amusement park nearby. For something like that we have Camel Beach, Knoebels, Dorney Park and Hershey.

I've set myself a little plan for this week. I will clean one kid's room per day. I need to put things away and completely clean, vacuum and dust. I'm also washing all the bedding since we've had so many sickos here. Today is Colby's room. The bedding is in the wash and most everything is put away. I need to find a weapon to defeat the dust bunnies though.

I have decided this 90 day ADR thing is unacceptable. I can see how people who fail to plan properly might think 90 days is fabulous, but for people like ME it kind of sucks. I want to be able to make my ADRs at 180 days so I get a jump on the slackers.
I know precisely where I want to eat at WDW no matter how far out the trip is. None of this mamby pamby "I don't know what I will want for dinner when we get there." I KNOW where I want to eat, so I should be allowed to snap up those ADRs and the slackers can fight over whatever is left when then get around to calling. Now I will have to call at 90 days and hope for a really great CM because the competition will be much stiffer! If I get a new CM (or a stupid one) I may miss out on some of my ressies.

Two pieces of good news for our family so far today:

Kristin has tomorrow and Wednesday off... she will go with me.

Kathrin was offered a job! She is waiting to hear from two other companies but this is the one she was hoping to get. She would like a little more money than they are offering, but is hoping that her references and background check reveal that she is worth more without having to ask for it. She will make a final decision on Friday! FINALLY!

The nasty weather you all were experiencing yesterday played havoc with our flight last night. We were delayed twice, and finally departed 100 minutes late, arriving at our Park 'n' Fly at BWI at 1:15 a.m. Before our flight could board and take off they first had to call in security and the Orlando PD to take one of our potential passengers off the property. He had expressed his displeasure a little too vocally to me personally and to the crew at the gate in some pretty nasty terminology. So he (and his really stupid wife who stood by him through it all) were removed from the airport under a lot of duress.

YIKES! So....my DH might give me a toilet seat for Christmas but I know he would NEVER behave like that! Sorry you were delayed. For some reason I'm kind of freaking out about flying with Lizzy in January. I guess because we have a late afternoon flight out (4pm). I've been lucky the last few times I've flown in Nov/Dec/Jan so I really need to stop worrying about it and there isn't anything I can do about it anyways.

What a great day it has been! I went to the dentist (okay, that is not the great part!) , then got a 90 minute massage (amazing!) and heard from my friend that is deployed--hes even going to try to call me tomrorow morning! im so excited
