I missed today. Anyone know what happened?

Flash backs of Carly when she gave birth to Melanie. Melanie telling her about her awful father and her awful childhood. Carly didn't know any of this. In the flash back Lawrence is really mean to Carly. Even scares her about dropping the baby after it was born. But we didn't see what he did with the baby after that just that he wouldn't give it to Carly.

Hope going over to talk to Bo and notice he wasn't wearing his wedding ring. Accuses him of never having a real marriage because she thinks Carly and Bo had a thing all along and she came back for him. This is what Bo told Phillip , which Vivian over heard and told Hope. This is suppose to be the real reason Carly is back, to throw Vivian off the daughter thing. Hope runs into Justin's arms at the end of course.

I almost forgot someone picked up the ransom money for Sydney but they don't know who she is. More Rafe /Sami/E.j saying the same thing over and over....

Poor writing IMO

Days has always been notorious for bad writing. Although, I do think it's gotten a lot worse since the 90's (when I first started watching).

That was mine yesterday but most on here are a day behind mine...

So if I write what I saw today the other have not seen it yet so I try not to ruin it for them unless it is something big and Ithink they should watch I tell them.

I can tell you nothing major happened on today show. Vivian talked Melanie into trying on some wedding dress she had picked out,

Syndey is sick with a fever and worried they will have to take her to a doctor. E.J is with them.

Juile talking to Hope about Bo ....

I can't remember much else. Maybe Sami and Rafe fighting still ...I fell asleep.

Carly dreaming that Vivian stabbed Melanie ...that was in the previews from yesterday.

I tell you they are dragging all these storylines. Just give Sami back the baby already but I read spoilers for Feb. That isn't going to happen too soon.

Also heard that Nicole is coming back to start shooting scenes again in two weeks so not sure when her first air date will be.

Wonder if we will be pre empted for the Olympics?

We always get preempted for the Olympics. Although I think one year they tried airing late at night or something.

I'm excited that Nicole will be back soon. I hope she has some good storyline as I love her and think Ari is an amazing actress.

Does anyone else think it is strange the way Viv is trying so hard to get in Phillips good graces? I understand that she gave birth to him but that's as far as it went and she always seems so sneeky when she's with him. And I miss Ivan. This Gus person just doesn't cut it.

I am so tired of Carly's dreams of Vivian killing Melanie. Today I thought I missed something from Friday's show.

I loved Vivian yesterday. Especially when she started connecting that both Lawrence and Melanie's father were killed the same way. I hate the storyline (mainly because I'm not loving carley) but I love Vivian. She cracks me up.

Our stupid power was out yesterday during the show so i'm now 2 days behind. I love Vivian so now I have to go watch it!

Yes Vivian is fun to watch, I miss her old side kick though.

All these dreams, still hard to know what is real and what isn't. I still think Lawrence is alive somewhere even though he came to her in a dream or what ever that was.

Justin deserved that slap Carly gave him the other day. He is one to talk.

Maggie is doing a great job acting the grieving wife. I must say I never saw her hair and make up so good in a long time though.

Just Vivian dreaming that Lawrence wants her to kill Melanie not Carly because Carly would end up with him in hell....or something like that.

Of course Victor says she is not to touch or even talk to Melanie now. Victor has been really funny lately.

Ari doesn't have to go back to jail , she is free . Could have seen that coming. She went to thank E.J and thanked him for saving her then told him she was working under cover.

Same Rafe/Sami fight. On my show today he moves out. But it seem like the same script they are reading from over and over. Sami did though that Rafe isn't Sydney's father in his face.

Carly or Daniel will have to operate and save her life. In gratitude she will become a sweet little old lady. Oh my, I have been watching this show for too long. LOL

Maggie's portrayal of a grieving widow is right on the mark and very hard for me to watch. I lost my DH in June and everything she does, I do. I hold his picture and I cry. I remember things and cry. I play the "what if" game. You try and be strong around family. She should get an emmy for this.

We will probably find out that Lawrence planted a microchip in Vivian before she "died" and is now controlling her from some remote island where he is plotting to take over all of Salem and torture anyone that Carly talks to. Now that shows I've been watching Days waaaaaay tooooo loooong.

You are probably right Lawrence is on some island some where controling the whole thing....everyone ends up on an island alive dont' you know. Look at Tony or all the others thought to be dead.

Then the whole cast will go to said island and fall of cliffs and have things that should have killed them many times before returning to Salem. Then they will continue to look for Sydney for a few years. And they will find her when she is a teenager and won't know who her real mother is.

Maggie has for sure been impressive. I like seeing her in a role other then "nib nose."
