How big are the daybeds at the Deluxe Disney resorts? Are they comfy enough for an adult to sleep on, or better suited to a child?:confused3

I think they are more suited for a child, not a guy that's six feet tall. We had them at the BWI, and it was perfect for our DS8.

Really depends which one you're looking at. We had a daybed at the Beach Club a few years ago that was roughly the size of a loveseat. Very comfy to sit on, but I can't imagine an adult would have been able to sleep comfortably.

At the Poly last January, the daybed was longer. It looked like a couch, and the back folded down to create (roughly) a twin size bed. My younger brother is 21, 5'10" with broad shoulders. He slept just fine on the daybed at the Poly.

My understanding is that the day beds at the Poly and Contemporary are suited for an adult to sleep on while the others are more suited for a child to sleep on.

It really depends on the resort.

We've stayed at Deluxe with a really nice twin size daybed (Contemporary) that DD slept on. It actually folded out lengthwise, and was a made up twin bed. I think an average adult could possibly sleep on it fine.

Other deluxes we've stayed at haven't had such a daybed. AKL didn't at all, from what I remember.

I think the GF had one, but it isn't in every room.

If you really need the extra bed, I think many resorts have a rollaway bed for an extra charge. I am requesting one at POFQ next month, and was told by the front desk that they have them. My kids won't sleep together.
