Snacks

There are MANY places in each park where you can use your snack credits.

You can see some off the options on the MDE app.

- open app
- click 3 horizontal lines in the bottom corner
- click, ‘Order Food’
- Magic Kingdom will be defaulted but you can change the option to any park, resort, Disney Springs
- all dining locations in selected location will be displayed. Click, Begin Order’
- select ‘Snack’ icon
- a list of all eligible snack options at that location are displayed.

Looking at the Disney dining plan and the different parks, where are the places to get snacks. Not many listed in each park at WDW

There are a ton of snack options at the parks/resorts. We have our list of must-have snacks for our upcoming trip :). One of my favorite menu sites is allears.net. It gives you the menus for all the different restaurants and has the snack icon as well (for the DDP)

Epcot Festival Booths! I'm thinking there aren't many days at Epcot without a festival of some sort.

You can also use snack credits on some of the pre-packaged items like candy and such. I know people do this when they have some leftover credits at the end of the trip - they will stock up on the Goofy's Candy Co. or Chip & Dale Trail Mix. I am not sure what all qualifies (I think it's most of the bespoke Disney branded stuff) and it may not be the best use of a credit, but it is an option. The trail mix is actually pretty good and has gotten me through a few hangry moments at the parks when stopping to eat wasn't convenient.

Snacks are everywhere though some make better use of a DDP credit than others. Some items change too quickly so websites gave up trying to keep track. In the parks keep an eye out for this symbol as it denotes item qualifies as a snack credit:

The Disney Dining Plan (DDP) snack symbol on menus at Walt Disney World is a small, purple and white checkerboard icon, often with the letters "DDP" and a cup with a straw.

Over the years we found some favorite uses:

Epic Eats at HS used to be named Oasis Canteen which became famous for the humungous funnel cake sundaes that 2+ people could split on 1 snack credit lol. They’ve toned it down some but still is great use of a credit. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/hollywood-studios/epic-eats/menus/all-day/

Flametree BBQ at AK has French Fries with Cheese and Pulled Pork that we’ve gotten many times with one snack credit. Not sure if it’s still included? It is still on the menu. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/animal-kingdom/flame-tree-barbecue/menus/lunch-and-dinner/

Festival food booths at Epcot have the booklets where you can look for the snack symbol to know which are included. Some of them are a great value for a snack credit. Les Halles also has a great selection included as snack credits, like the quiche lorraine and creme brulee etc. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/d...oulangerie-patisserie/menus/lunch-and-dinner/

Magic Kingdom is a little harder to find savory snacks using a credit. Tomorrowland’s Sweet creamcheese Pretzel is a favorite https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/magic-kingdom/lunching-pad/menus/lunch-and-dinner/

Best thing to do is watch a video the month or two leading up to your trip on this topic that is recent. Like this one is from January, so possibly some options have already changed:
