Dairy Farmers Wife IS going to Disney in March/April!

Today I plan to go through my pictures and get them edited, sorted , copied to cd and ordered. I have a ton on my computer and I just need to do it. Then hopefully catch up on some of my subscribed threads.
I keep putting off the pictures though, so I need to make that priority during my computer time.
Once I get those done and slightly caught up on threads, I will do more Disney talk.

I've been going through all of the pictures on my computer. I had thousands and thousands and thousands of them. I finally went through them all. I burned them to CDs and also on memory sticks. I figured that may be what was making my computer run so slowly.

First, I have to thank you! I have been thinking alot about bringing a stroller we go again for younger DD. She'll be just 7 then, but I really don't want to be trying to carry her towards the end of the trip, or listen to her get all whiny cuz she wiped out. Heck, I get whiny when I tired.

Second, the people who bash others have binders on.They don't see the whole picture even when it hits them in the face:eek: I just feel sorry for those around them when their own situation goes bad. I love my kids and if I can find a way to make something better or more comfortable for them, I will. It usually makes things better for me too;)

I hear you about pictures, I take alot,...ok maybe too many :rolleyes1 I've been told. I think you can never take too many, my babies are only gonna be little for so long. I just can't believe I'm gonna be taking my "baby's" senior pics this weekend :sad2:

Have a great day!

Thanks for your support :thumbsup2 Yes I take alot of pictures too. But I'm sometimes slow to get them edited. :rolleyes1 I always get distracted by something or it just makes my conputer run so slow when I work on them, that I decide to do it another day, then anotgher day..and so on. LOL!

Thanks. How much does your DS weigh?
Someone old me Maclaren has an ebay store, so Im gonna check stuff out there, but of course I can't get ebay to load for some reason. :sad2:

DS6 weighs 48lbs. , he a tiny little boy , stick thin and probably average for height . lol

That's terrible how people were bashing u for letting Claire ride in a stroller for long walking trips like WDW ! Shame on them ! It's always nice when you ask for opinion people feel the need to give you extra . My thought is they don't pay my bills , so what gives them the right to tell me what to buy or not buy for my child . DS6, DD4 almost 5 and DS3 will all be using a stroller on our upcoming trip in September at some point , so I guess they would bash me too ! lol

Glad you found the perfect stroller for Claire hope when it comes it's everything you expected but if not at least it's easy to return . Did you go with a Maclaren ?

Sorry Skip's doctor's appointment didn't go as planned again :( Keeping my fingers crossed that there is a solution soon !

That's terrible about your phone bill , I would be upset over $30 a month too. Have them turn off your texting , we never texted until about a year or two ago and that's what I had them do to our phones so we wouldn't get those crazy charges . Good luck with the new cellphone , it will def be a big change :thumbsup2

Sounds like on the shopping side of things you have been doing well though w/ getting your picture outfits, cellphone and stroller .

How cool that Claire got a Monorail , my kids just love there's , I'm sure she will get hours of play out of it :goodvibes

Good luck with your picture project today that def takes some time , something I need to get caught up on myself

Seriously?!?! People got all worked up over a simple question about a stroller???? Do they have nothing better to do with their time than tell another Mother how she should take care of her children?

Absurd!

And to make fun of a child by calling her a name. :sad2: Those people really need to grow up! If you had asked "Should I take a stroller or not?" I can see some of those responses - WITHOUT the attitude. But you didn't even ask that! Lots of kids, older than Claire, here in NYC ride in strollers because - get this - they get tired from walking so far. Shocker, I know. Oh, and strollers are really useful for holding things, or allowing the child to take a nap when they get tired. What a concept. Grrrrrr. I'm really sorry you had to go through all that Jen. Don't let them phase you. Use the stroller. You know what's best for her! And good job on reporting those people!!!

Okay, my rant is over. Though I'm still steaming about that and had this reaction  :sad2: while reading your update. Another reason I don't often stray too far from the TR/PTR boards....

And what an ordeal with Skip. I hope that is coming to an end soon. Sounds like there might be some hope with the pain management clinic!

Very cool about the new phone (I saw that on my PTR too, I hope you like it!) and the monorail set! :yay: Glad Claire is loving kindergarten, I look forward to the pics.

ETA: We use a Maclaren and LOVE it. Super easy to push, even with one hand!

Why is it I take a 3 day break and every board I am on has drama??? :lmao: Seriously people are mad you are letting your daughter use a stroller? She is 5!!!! I totally understand the need for them, especially with young children. Honestly some people have no tact.
How frustrating wit your DH and his hip. I hope they can figure it out soon. Poor guy. So glad your daughter is loving school. Keep it coming!!!!! :thumbsup2

I sent the t-shirt designs. I didn't think about it, but I just forwarded the email sent to me from Tim, and it does have some a message or something from him in it to me. (I forgot to erase that part) Something like are you going?. So just ignore that part. LOL!
So are you going to be using any of the DISigns?

Yea.... just ignore me, that is what my wife does! :lmao::lmao:

No problem I won't even read it.
I don't think I was airing my dirty laundry or anything?
:laundy:

Thats what all the guys say to me! ;) :rotfl2:
You meet some strange men.:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:
You calling me strange? :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

That thread ended up getting closed. The last post is someone making fun of Claire (or just 5 year olds in genertal, saying something like when she goes on a class trip wil lI have to send a stroller for her. :sad2: I should really report that post too, but I'm sure the mod saw it, because it got closed after that. I really tried to keep my tongue and not get nsaty and fuel there fire though.

I ended up ordering a Aprica Presto. It looks very similar to the Maclarens. It holds 70lbs, so that was the main reason why I got it. It also says the seat is higher for growing legs. It's really new, but so far the reviews I could find are good. if I don't like it, I'll take it back and then get the Maclaren Quest. That pushed like a dream at the store, but my worry was that the weight limit is 55.

Hopefully today my cell phone will be in. They had to order it. I guess this is a new policy? I never had one ordered before....but I always got bottom of the line phones too.
Got most of my pictures done. Just a couple more. I loade 50 last night and ordered and should have about another 50 to order when I am done today. I don't order all I take, just the ones I like the most.

The monorail is soooo cool. Claire came right home from School yesterday and palyed with it for hours. And she is sleeping with the train at night! :rotfl2:

Brook, it was so unreal how nasty people got. What do they even care anyways. I just really held my tongue. I didn't want to cause more problems.

The whole Skip thing si still a fiasco. he was supposed to get a biopsy yesterday and they called and cancelled that! They wanted more blood again
Claire is loving School. I hope to get my new phone today.
The monorail is so cool. Henry would love it!

I guess some peopel have no life....wel lI don't really either. LOL! But I don't go looking for threads to get nasty on.
Skip is starting to get really grouchy about this whole thing, and sadly I'm the one who has to deal with that. I shoul make him stay with the Dr all day long and see how he likes it. :rolleyes1

So are you going to be using any of the DISigns?

If we go this year, I am for sure making the 2010 ones. I'll probably make some of the others too. I don't want to do anything till I know for sure whats up though. I love the designs though.

No, you weren't airing any dirty laundry!:hippie:

Your post cracked me up!

Update on Skip...again...

The biopsy he was supposed to have yesterday got cancelled. :sad2: The Dr decided he wanted to take blood again first, to see if Skip's white blood cells are still elevated. Now Skip has had several blood tests over the past 6-8 months...and so far none have ever gone down, so why would they now? I think the Dr just didn't want to do the biopsy yesterday as he was doing it between patients.
And of course, he is off on Fridays, so at the very earliest we won't know anything till Monday afternoon. BUT the way the office runs, it will be more like Wed. :rolleyes1

Here are pictures of Claire from her first day of School!

I'm gonna eat my own words! :scared1: Skip's General Dr just called and they recieved the results from the blood test already and told us that everything is normal. Nothing is elevated anymore. So we assume the hip Dr will not do the biopsy anymore, since there is no sign of infection at this point. Plus Skip dais he wasn't letting him jab him again. LOL!
He siad he was going to try and get in for the injections again. So wwe'll see what happens there, since he haad to go on homd and hung up, saying he couldn't bother waiting. :rolleyes1

:cool1: so glad everything has gone down!!!! I hope he starts on the injection soon!!!!!! How exciting for him!! And yay for a doctor actually calling back in a reasonable time!!!! And your daughter is so cute!!! I don't really remember my first day of school, but apparently I was bummed because I was bossy and no one was listening to me!!!! :rotfl2: As I look at my son I realized somethings never change! :rotfl:

Wow that bad the thread got closed :scared1: That's why I never really ask any questions on here anymore unless there on my own report . You have to be so careful as to how you word your question or what u ask for fear of getting bashed instead of your question answered . Sad very sad :(

The stroller sounds great . I agree the Maclaren strollers def drive very easy and are super light weight :)

Hope your phone comes it today ,it will def give you something new to play with ! lol

Sounds like you've made great progress on the pictures :thumbsup2 I get most of my pictures printed unless their just totally bad and then I just delete them anyway . lol

How sweet that Claire slept with her Monirail

Beautiful 1st day of school pictures , glad to here she is enjoying herself at school.

Sounds like those doctors are just running Skip around in circles :( Hope they figure out what there doing soon , so he can feel some kind of relief from his pain !

I'm sure that you don't mind eating your words since the news you received was good! I'm so happy to hear that there is no more infection. Now, they can move on to the injections. And, we'll still pray that they help.

Claire looks so cute on her first day of school. Yesterday was Hunter's first day. I always take a first day of school picture. Wouldn't you know it, my camera battery died after one picture.:sad2:

Hi Jen! Those are pretty good words to have to eat! It seems like usually when the dr.'s office calls back soon, it's bad news, not good news....so at least you go through the weekend knowing SOMETHING, right?

We finally got some rain--apparently it rained the whole time I was gone to my parents' house and now the corn actually looks green so even if we don't get much in terms of grain, we should have some decent silage. For a while it looked like we wouldn't even get that!

DH spent the time while I was gone looking for the part for my van door (I can't use the redneck fix forever! :lmao:) and found out the "labor" they were charging $250 for took him about 3 minutes!!! So he'll probably fix it himself. LOVE my handy husband!!!!
