Dairy Farmers Wife IS going to Disney in March/April!

:cool1: so glad everything has gone down!!!! I hope he starts on the injection soon!!!!!! How exciting for him!! And yay for a doctor actually calling back in a reasonable time!!!! And your daughter is so cute!!! I don't really remember my first day of school, but apparently I was bummed because I was bossy and no one was listening to me!!!! :rotfl2: As I look at my son I realized somethings never change! :rotfl:

We are hapy, once the Dr faxes over the results they will set up an injection for Skip.
I remember not waning to start K at l. I never went to peschool, either. I just wanted to stay home and play. K was OK, but I was never a big fan of school, eve from the start.

Wow that bad the thread got closed :scared1: That's why I never really ask any questions on here anymore unless there on my own report . You have to be so careful as to how you word your question or what u ask for fear of getting bashed instead of your question answered . Sad very sad :(

The stroller sounds great . I agree the Maclaren strollers def drive very easy and are super light weight :)

Hope your phone comes it today ,it will def give you something new to play with ! lol

Sounds like you've made great progress on the pictures :thumbsup2 I get most of my pictures printed unless their just totally bad and then I just delete them anyway . lol

How sweet that Claire slept with her Monirail

Beautiful 1st day of school pictures , glad to here she is enjoying herself at school.

Sounds like those doctors are just running Skip around in circles :( Hope they figure out what there doing soon , so he can feel some kind of relief from his pain !

Who knew asking what kind of stroller to get would turn so ugly. LOL! Never did get a chance to finish the pictures yesterday, as we got busy, but I only have to order and put them on disc now, so it won't take long.
The phone is here! It's really cool , but I have so much to learn.

I'm sure that you don't mind eating your words since the news you received was good! I'm so happy to hear that there is no more infection. Now, they can move on to the injections. And, we'll still pray that they help.

Claire looks so cute on her first day of school. Yesterday was Hunter's first day. I always take a first day of school picture. Wouldn't you know it, my camera battery died after one picture.:sad2:

I hate when that happens. I seem to be queen of batteries anymore. I hoard them LOL! I have several sets of rechargables too, but they just don't seem to last long, nor do the chargers themselves. I have 3. 2 are pretty much crap, and the third one I got last year before our trip was really nice, and that too seems to not be working so well anymore.

Hi Jen! Those are pretty good words to have to eat! It seems like usually when the dr.'s office calls back soon, it's bad news, not good news....so at least you go through the weekend knowing SOMETHING, right?

We finally got some rain--apparently it rained the whole time I was gone to my parents' house and now the corn actually looks green so even if we don't get much in terms of grain, we should have some decent silage. For a while it looked like we wouldn't even get that!

DH spent the time while I was gone looking for the part for my van door (I can't use the redneck fix forever! :lmao:) and found out the "labor" they were charging $250 for took him about 3 minutes!!! So he'll probably fix it himself. LOVE my handy husband!!!!

We have luckily got a good amount of rain this summer. Our soybeans are extremely tall and full of pods. Our corn looks good too. It also seems like they are baling hay constantly this summer.

So glad that the van part actually wasn't too much and your DH could fix it. I thought it seemed a rather high price.

I sure hope we can get Skip fixed up. He was in really good spirits last night and even is considering going tractorpulling in 2 weeks. :yay:

Yesterday turned into a busy day! I walked my treadmill, did alot of laundry, took a nap..:rolleyes1..did more laundry and then picked Claire up from school. We then set off to get my new phone. I think we were there for close to 2 hours. They showed me some basics, and I still have so much to learn, but it is really neat. I actually texted Paige this morning. LOL
After the phone, we went to the dollar store to get a b-day card for Clare's friend. Then headed over to another store to pick up some lunch meat and a few toehr things. I just pulled into the parking lot and my new phone rang! It was Skip. He was a bit grouchy, wondering where we were. I told him, and he said "I wanted to go the the tractor pulls a 1/2 hour ago.
The biggest tractorpulling event in the wrold is located in Bowling Green, OH. Which is about 20-30 minutes from our house. I had asked him him 2 days ago if he was gonna go and he said maybe Sunday. That night he told me his brother said he Skip should go Friday night, but Skip said there was no way he was going, etc...didn't want to walk, or hassle with people asking him how he was doing....he was very adiment. I figured by Sunday he would change his mind though, and we would go then.

Well he changed it alot sooner. So he was grumpy, saying that I know he changes his mind alot, so I should've been home waiting to see what his plan was....whatever!
So, anyways, Claire and I didn't even go into that store, and headed home to Skip pacing in the garage. He asked for a medium size cooler, which I don't have, and so off he went in search for one, while Claire and I changed quickly and got ready. I came back out to find he was using one that I actually store stuff in...because as a cooler it's junk. It leaks ALL over. Just really crappy. I told him that, but he didn't care.
Of course the whole way there he was sighing impatiently. He told me the pulls started at 6:30. We got there at 6:45 and they had not started. They didn't start till 7:30, so he calmed down a bit. He relaxed and we had a good time, and after it, we did go and chat with a few puller friends. But not for long because Claire was EXHUASTED...and actually asked if we could go home so she could go to bed. No thats rare.
I also found out last night, that Skip is considering getting his tractor ready, and going to a local pull in 2 weeks. I swear, when he was talking about it, it was the 1st real smile I've seen in awhile!

When we go home. I saw a box in my garage. It was the stroller. I put it togehter this morning, and once Claire gets up, I'll test drive it.:cheer2:

Wow..I don't know how I missed this!! Sorry girly..I am here now! :)

I have to post this link. It is so funny. I have nothing to do with it and am not encouraging anyone to buy it!
it's a link to ebay for a "spell" to give you a fantastic booty!

Evidently it is popular to look at befcause most of the pictures have exceeded band width! LOL!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So it was another roller coaster of a day.

I have been talking to Skip about getting a new phone, since mine doesn't hold a charge for very long anymore. I have been eligible for an upgrade for over a year now. So I told him last night that I was going to start looking and also check our plan, which consist of 4 phones, the 2 of us, his brother and a former worker. That phone hasn't been used for over a year, so we are going to see if we can shut it off.
I went over to MIL's this morning to get the lastest bill...since our account is paid by the farm, and she does the bookwork... I look at the bill and see my number is charge 9.99 times 3 for premioum messaging. I have no clue what it is, since I really don't even know how to text.
Claire and I went to Story time at the library and she went over to her friends house after.
I came home and called sprint/nextel. I find out that for about a year, these charges have been on my phone for texts from different companies. I told the girl I don't open them, just delete them. (nor know why thy started coming to me) She told me I should've and then I would've known that I could opt out, and text back stop (which I have no clue how to even do. :flower3:) So over the past year we have around $300 + in charges to these stupid places. She gave me the numbers to call and see about refunding us, since it has nothing to do with Sprint. I have called 2, one gave me several numbers, (run around) and of course a lady called me back while I was at the Dr's with Skip, so I'll call her tomorrow. The other said they have no record of charges to my number, so I need to get a copy and email it to them. I haven't called the third yet.
I told Skip about it, and he said "whats the big deal?" Well $30 a month should make him mad, but I guess not. Who can figure him. :rolleyes1:love:
A little after 2 we set off for the Drs. We get there and he asks if I'm gonna leave, and I said I wasn't sure. So we went in, and they said he wouldn't be done till 4. Again he said, are you gonna leave? and I told him I would wait till they called him back, which they did 5 minutes later. So I sat another 5, went out to my car, sat another 5, and decided to look for a sprint store and check out phones.:rolleyes1
I found one, talked about plans, and phones and I decided another plan would be good for us. It was going to cost basically the same, but we got alot more minutes, texting, internet, etc. I also decided on the motorolla i1 Droid phone. It isn't the best droid (which I know nothing about anyways :rotfl2:) but it's the first and only one that can use Nextel Direct connect. It looked super cool! They have to order it and will call me tomorrow to let me know if it came in.

So back to the Dr. :goodvibes I got back at 3:35. Plenty of time! Right? :sad2: Wrong!!!!! Skip was waiting outside for me. He hopped in, and didn't look pleasant. I asked how it was, and he said they didn't do the injection. His hip Dr is going to do another biopsy tomorrow to see if there is infection there (so far all tests say no), and this Dr said he just couldn't do it with the possiblity of infection anywhere in his body. Skip was steaming mad. And mad at me. I told him he should've called me, but he left his phone at home and couldn't remember my number to call from another phone. (He just looks for my name in his list and presses it. LOL)
So I had to hear how long he had to wait. ALL the way home :guilty: Thank goodness I didn't go do anything else. :rolleyes1

Good news ..I recieved my lands end shirts today and they are cute/nice. I also forgot to mention I did receive her dress a few days ago as well, and it's cute.

And some really cool news.
Skips cousin Knocked on our door today about 7PM. She had a box in her hand and told Claire she just had a garage sale and was going to get rid of what she didn't sell to goodwill. But wanted to know if Claire wanted her sons.....wait...wait..

Monorail set! OHHH!:banana: :dance3: It is so cool. I said if Claire didn't want it, I would take it. :cool2: Claire was so excited and jumped all around and we quickly set it up. It talks too. We love it.

And it worked out as a good lesson for Claire. On Friday I gave Claire's old spring rocking horse to my friend who has a 18 month old. Claire hasn't used it in over a year. But when they drove away with it in the back of their truck, She cried! ALOT! Skip and I tried to tell her how good it was for her to let someone else get joy out of it, but she wasn't convinced.
So with this new monorail set, I told her that God was so proud of her for letting Charlie use her horse that he rewarded her with some kindness too. I don't know if she beleived me though. LOL!

That's awesome about the Monorail set!

I'm gonna eat my own words! :scared1: Skip's General Dr just called and they recieved the results from the blood test already and told us that everything is normal. Nothing is elevated anymore. So we assume the hip Dr will not do the biopsy anymore, since there is no sign of infection at this point. Plus Skip dais he wasn't letting him jab him again. LOL!
He siad he was going to try and get in for the injections again. So wwe'll see what happens there, since he haad to go on homd and hung up, saying he couldn't bother waiting. :rolleyes1
I am SO glad they didn't do the biopsy! Thats good. Hopefully they will just do the injections and let him be! I hate that there is also a little confirmation about the lack of proof that the original surgery was needed...:sad2:

And SERIOUSLY!? About the Stroller?! That could have caused me to cuss... and I try not to do that! :mad:UGH! What is wrong with people?! There are REAL things that BAD parents do everyday- so lets shut up about some of the little things that we don't like about other parents! I plan on taking a stroller for Cortlyn every year that she needs it! GRRRRRR.

Wow..I don't know how I missed this!! Sorry girly..I am here now! :)

Probably because you've been busy having a baby! how is that little one doing?

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I sure hope we get things under control with his pain. Pray that the ydo the injections and that they work! Or at least do something that works!

SO what phone did you end up with? The droid?

Oh yea... Hi to you on your phone!

Yes, I got the driod...motorola i1. It's the top of the line Nextel phone, but bottom in th droid phones. LOL! Nextel never has been one to have fancy phones, I guess because of the direct connect feature. I do like it though. Super fancy for me

The phone is here! It's really cool , but I have so much to learn.

Hope you got to finish your pictures this weekend . I wanted to work on the kids scrapbooks since this weekend and have yet to even start , been busy doing the floors & :laundy: a women's work is never done . lol

Glad to hear both the phone & stroller have arrived . I see the phone is working out well , hope the stroller is as well !

Compared to my Samsung Stripe phone, that is top of the line tech right there. Mine can't even take a decent picture other that for viewing on the phones 1 1/4 x 1 1/2 inch screen.

The phone is really cool. So far I've been able to get most of it pretty easily. I really haven't had a chance to try the stroller much. We've been so busy this past weekend, and it rained all day Sat as well, so I didn't want to give it a test run outside, in case I have to return it. I pushed her for about 30 seconds in the garage, and I am still undecided yet if I like it. LOL! Still need to order the pictures, but got them all on Cd now. So the major chore of that is done for now.

Daddy_of_Princesses
Yes this phone is really facny smancy for me. I really like it. I never had such a nice phone. It's really fun to see all it has to offer

The monorail is so cool. Henry would love it!

We have talked about getting him this...more than a few times! Maybe this trip.

So glad Skip seems to be doing better - up and doing things! Smiling!!! That is really good news. I hope the injections work!

Are you posting from your phone? I have only done it once because it's not as easy as I was hoping. Not impossible by any means, but I'd much rather be on the computer. It's still fun though and SO handy for the calendar, WDW stuff, texting, etc.

congrats on the new phone! i am getting a droid when i am due for my upgrade in december/january! just in time for my brithday...

I did it just that once. it really isn't very easy to post or read much on the internet, but at least if that is the only option you have, you can.
The monorail is really cool too.

you'll have alot of fun with it

I gave the new stroller a try this afternoon. I took Claire out in in while I walked down the road for a mile. I am taking it back. It just didn't have a good feel. It felt like I was pushing all 52 lbs of her for one. She complained the seat wasn't feeling good, and she said it wasn't wide enough. But I think those problems will be with any stroller. She also complained it wasn't pink. LOL!
But I really didn't like how it turned, and I just wasn't over all happy. I expected it to be pretty easy to push her since the weight max is 70 lbs. And for that mount of money, I think I should be happy.

Well, yeah, if I'm spending a lot of money I better be REALLY happy!!! Get the one you know you like! And proudly walk that stroller around Disney and wear a shirt that says you are PROUD of your stroller!! :rotfl:

That booty thing on Ebay is hilarious!

And I love getting a new phone, it's so fun to play with!

This is just a run-by, but I'll be reading more closely in a few days. :)
