Dairy Farmers Wife IS going to Disney in March/April!

I'm glad that Claire wants to go back to the tea party. It must of made an impression on her. Birthday day (Friday) sounds like it will work best. :goodvibes

Hmmm. I am trying to find the info on Disney site, but can't. Found it on 2 other sites though, one says 1;30-2;30 on 3 days a wekk, while the other say 2-3 Mon-Fri.

If it helps, Brenda is booked for the Wonderland TeaParty for Thursday Dec 2 at 2:00. So if must be everyday.

Oh yes, it was definitly a highlight last time

I might be interested in at least the Alice dress. I want to buy one for my little one that is coming. I know it's like really far off before she can wear it, but I'm afraid Disney will stop selling the costume before she's old enough. How much do you want for it? Is it in good condition?

I'll send you a PM.

He called the Dr this morning that he was hoping to get a 2nd opinion with, and they won't take him. He's back to leaving messages at the hip Dr. I am out of options. Something is wrong, but no one seems to know what. The hip Dr did say several months ago, that perhaps the peice was too big and it's rubbing on muscle, so to cure it, that he needs to redo it, which will be harder the 2nd time around , I guess. But at this point, that may be our only option. And of course that might NOT be the problem even. Someone also said...and I can't remember who, that there is a possiblity he nick a nerve while in there. And I'm not sure what the cure for that is.

Sorry to hear that you haven't found a doctor yet that can tell you what is wrong w/ Skip's hip , I know it has to be extremely frustrating ! Keeping my fingers crossed that you find a doctor that can give you all the answers !

Glad to hear that Skip's on-board with your WDW plans and all it requires on your part is a little physical labor in the bedroom :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Beautiful pictures of the Fair , the lighting and color in your pictures are always soo pretty !!

The plans look great , I think you should stick with the last version and not do MVMCP the day you fly in , I think you would just be to tired :)

Good Luck w/ Claire's request for The Wonderland Tea Party , your gonna need it ! lol

I sent a reply to your message about the Alice dress.

I have ran all sorts of scenerios through my head, and honestly flying in on Tuesday would work the best. But I just know Skip. He will want to fly out of Toledo for one (which doesn't fly out on Tuesday) and that extra day will be too long. I know he will grumble already about how long we are staying. It will be fun and work out, no matter what we do. I'm not going to get to worked up over it.

Wait!!! How did I miss this?! I'm in and I'm sure Natasha will be too!! :)

If you go in March you will have to go see Natasha at which ever restaurant shes doing the Disney college program at....she doesn't find out until Jan but it will be at a full service. I think Ohana is on her list and maybe Chef Mickeys...:dance3:

I'm so sorry they haven't figure out what is wrong with Skip's hip. Ugh what a pain! So glad Disney is on the table!!!!:woohoo:Totally understand ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Don't enjoy it too much. :lmao: Can't wait for more updates!!!

Oh yes! That would be great! How exciting for her. Another Diser who followed me on my last TR is doing the college program right now. I beleive she is wroking Space Mountain.

It is such a pain. He was supposed to go in for a shot today, but he canceled. I'm not sure if he's gonna go back or not. They really haven't helped, and he was just too busy today to do it and then "rest" for the rest of the day.

Do they know what he does for a living? Because as far as I can tell, "rest" is not in the dairy farmer's vocabulary!

Exactly! And of course we all tell him that maybe his hip would be better if he had actually not worked right after his surgey. I think he was down a few days, then started hanging out in the barn office, and little by little started doing stuff.

Hey Jen!
I somewhere missed about the doctor not taking Skip. Sounds like the only way to see another doctor would be to get an attorney and see his doctor (and most attorney's don't take on this type of case, either :confused3 ). If they pinched a nerve a redo would release the nerve. Has Skip had a recent CT (don't think he can have a MRI)...as for the injections usually takes three! BUT, if it is a hardware, muscle pinch, or nerve pinch the injections will not help. Do you ever go in with him to see his ortho?!? he needs to be aware of how life debilitating this is for Skip and your family...

on a fun note...I hope you are able to find a way to fill Claire's request...
Have a great weekend!

We hear mixed things about the injectiosn. Some say they had 1 and were perfect after that. Others say do all 3 before you feel anything and then others say that it should gradually get better. In fact, at the Dr.s they keep acting like he should be alot better, and that if he doesn't need the 3rd shot, he shouldwait a bit till he needs it again.
He called his ortho on Tuesday and the nurse said shewould talk to him again, but she wouldn't have a chance till Thursday.....how is that the main nurse can't see the Dr till Thurs? But anwyas, they are then closed Friday, so we knew then and there, like always that it won't be til next week before we hear anything.
I did go in to one appointment, back in June. I thought the Dr was a jerk. And we told him, which was true at that point, that Skip could barely walk, and was actually crawling around in the house. His reply was that the hip was textbook perfect. And thats when he ordered an MRI of the hip, which couldn't be done, once Skip got there, because he has metal in his hip! Duh. LOL!

I really like your plans of arriving on Tuesday and doing MVMCP then. ::yes::

If you do the BBB and CRT and MVMCP all in the same day, is there time to go back for a nap, or not? I was thinking after CRT, but before 4:00 for MVMCP, then Claire would have rest and you'll still have plenty of time to get a ton of riding done during the party.

Would Claire rather do the Tea Party or BBB/CRT do you think? Maybe just one will fit in easily with the plans...which STINKS though! I hope you can tweak them to make them both fit! Maybe Skip can just go home earlier....;)

As for paying OOP versus DDP, it hurts more to pay OOP - but think about how much the DDP is for 2 adults and a child too. It's over $100 a day for all 3 of you, right? How much will 1900PF cost OOP? A CS for 2 adults and a child, without dessert, is generally right around $30 and snacks vary. I know some of those character meals are a much better deal if you do have the DDP, but a few aren't....I'm guessing you have probably already done the math though!

I think the dining plan is about 96 for the 3 of us. And yep, I do the math over and over. LOL I think we would be close to breaking even on the plan, doing breakfast. We really have liked the plan the past few years, and have always save, even though it's not a huge savings, we have saved. But the best part is that it's pre-paid, and then I don't have to hear Skip complain at EVERY meal. LOL! That is worth it's weight in gold there! :rolleyes1 It's completely out of mind when we just hand the card, and leave a tip.

Day 4 plans
Sat. Dec 11

This day is planned for sleeping in. After we wake up, if Claire wants a quick swim, we'll go with that. After that we head over to AK. Now this is Skips' least favorite park, so that is why we are in no rush to get there.
I do like it, but I'm willing to make him happy too. ;) The one goal is to ride EE. Claire has recently watched one of the Disney specials I have on tape, and was just in love with the EE part, and she is now tall enough. I would also like to see Finding Nemo, since that is on show we have yet to see. But if we don't, I'll be OK with that.
Another thing I would like to do is watch the parade. Usually the AK parade is one of my favorites, but this will be the Holiday version. I think it's about the same, but it won't have the catchy music I love from the origional. But I would like to see what the difference is.
We'll probably stay till close, which I beleive is 6 PM.
After that we will head over to the Beach Club for our ADR at Cape May at 7:20. I am excited to try this one. We ate ther for breakfast last year, and the food was good. I have read that the dinner buffet now has crab legs on it. Yum yum. I will admit, this ADR is purely for my enjoyment!:rolleyes1 I know Claire and Skip will like it too, but it was one place that I booked out of selfishness for me!

After that, we will head back to Pop. Again, I hope to get to bed right after we get back. I have a morning ADR for the next day, and I want to be able to go strong all day long.

Sounds like a great plan. I really have to get to re-working my plans. I just realized I have us at WMH EVERY morning it is available and if no EMH then its RD! LOL

sounds like a fun day!and laid back type of day... how exciting that Claire is looking forward to EE!!! Ashton really enjoyed the Nemo story, so did I! Danny enjoyed the A/C...
