On to more Disney Plans...which I am thinking of changing around!

Day 3 will be Dec 10th....Claire's 6th birthday!!!!!

The plan as I have it NOW is to go to MK for the day.
Our stay at AKL is over. We will be moving over to Pop and starting free dining along, with our park tickets. My plan is to be up early and run over to Pop myself and get checked in. If we rent a car, I'll drive, as I assume that will be the fastest method. Also if we drive, we can just pack all our things into the car and keep them in there till our room is ready, instead of having AKL transfer them over. Another thought is to drive the car over to Pop and bus back to AKL, leaving the car and things at Pop. Or Skip could take it over after he gets up and meet us at MK later on.

I have a 10:40 BBB appointment for Claire. We have a 4:15 CRT ADR. Those I will not change. I then plan to do the MVMCP that evening. This is iffy now for me. I am thinking of switching nights for that.
The party last till midnight, I beleive, so that will be a really long day at MK for us. We can do it no problem, well I can, but after a while Claire may be tired and want to go back and swim and Skip may need some rest. Also I plan to bring a few presents for Claire for her b-day, so at some point she will want to open them. So I'm not 100% sure on the party that night.
7PM is when MK closes for the general ,non party going public, and that might just be a good time to go back for a rest. The bad thing is, I doubt we will get much accomplished at MK that day. Last trip our BBB day was used up mostly with the experience and then the photoshoot and dinner. But I wouldn't have traded any of it for the world. It was great fun that day.

OK..Do I have your heads spinning from all my indecision yet?

Here are my thoughts on changes. Let me know what you think.

Wed~ arrive and do as planned. Lounge around, explore AKL. Use nightvision googles.

Thursday~ perhaps I may cancel the 1900 PF breakfast. I am having a hard time with the paying out of pocket for meals. We always do the dining plan, and it's just killing me at the thought of the prices and to shell out cash for them. For that money alone, We could eat probably the 1st 2 days just CS. So thats a possibilty. I would like to do this breakfast, but I can't find time anywhere else to fit it in.
The new plans for Thurs would be to sleep in and then get up and swim, or whatever we feel like. Sometime I would like to do the photoshoot, as this still is the best day to do it. Then do the MVMCP on this night. We could go to Mk as early as 4 and stay till as late as we feel like. The downer to this is that we will miss out on some resort time at AKL.

Friday~ Morning still as planned. I get up, get checkd into Pop and go on our merry way to MK. Only we leave at the 7PM closing. The thing I don't like about this is that we will be up most likely till 1 AM the night before and then Claire will need to be up no later than 8:30 or 9 to get showered and ready to go to MK for her appointment.(I would like to be on the bus around 9:30) So NOT alot of sleep for her, but the plus side is that if we are back at the room by 8, she can take a quick dip in the pool, and then off to bed for the night....and the next day I have a planned sleep in day. So I am thinking she can catch up then.

I would love to hear thoughts on these plans....

And to through a wrench in it all!... ... Ideally I would like to fly down Tuesday morning, do MVMCP that day, and keep the other days as origionally planned, but I don't think Skip will go for that idea at all.

I like your new thoughts! and yes you could eat for two days CS for the price OOP...and if you guys are getting DDP for the day starting at the POP I would just figure out the ADR's for those days (but that is just me; I know we spent well over a $100 on AK Tusker bkf w/Donald, with the pictures, tip and meal).

Glad to hear Skip is becoming more receptive on the Dec trip! (I had the giggles so bad that Gwendolyn came out of her room to see if I was OK) that is precisely the type of comment Danny would give me!....
sounds like Claire may need to work on Daddy a little bit about a return trip to Disney (not saying when, just mentioning it; Ashton has started asking to go back daily and I promise I had nothing to do with it; I was so proud of him when he asked his daddy )

Yes, that paying out of pocket, when I know we will be on the plan in just a few days after, really bothers me. I KNOW it will bother Skip. He loves the plan because of its convenience. I have even looked at the cost of adding the plan for the 1st two days, but I can't justify it since we would have each add a 1 day ticket as well. I did think, well I could give them to my mom for her future trips (they have a timeshare in Orlando), but not sure if I really want to do it. So still thinking that one over. Ideally if we could arrive Tuesday morning/afternoon, things would run much smoother, but Allegiant doesn't fly out on Tuesday. I'm not giving that idea up totally yet, but there is a 99% chance it won't happen.

We need sleep in days. I personally don't. I don't need much sleep at Disney. I'm on an adrenaline high there. But we have found from past trips that Claire really does need them. I also realaized if we do the Thurs MVMCP over Fri. we will save about $18 on ticket costs too. Thats always a plus. That would be a nice CS meal for Claire and I. LOL!

I think you've done the 1900 PF before, right? If so, then maybe you could have Claire pick out a CS that she's wanting to try in the magic kingdom? Make her involved in the planning a little bit at a time and she might be excited about a non character meal. Just a thought.

Hey everyone, I am selling some of Claire's costumes. I'm about to list them on ebay, so if anyone is interested, let me know and I'll give you my ebay name. The oens I'm selling are Minnie Mouse dress, Alice dress, Ariel wedding dress, and the Sleeping beauty (Aurora ) dress. I think they range in size from 4T to 4/5.

You could tell her about the trip and then surprise her with the daily details later. For example, don't tell her about BBB or CRT just show up and let her be thrilled! My friend has no clue what is happening, where we are staying, or what we are doing lol. All she knows is that we are going and what days because she had to buy the plane tickets and get the time off work.

She said...out of the blue... "Mommy when we go to Disney next, can I got to the Wonderland Tea Party again?" I said, ah, we'll see how it works out.

I just can't figure where to stick this in at? And I think it's changed a bit from last time. I think it's Mon, Wed and Fri. Well we can't do it Wed...unless we arrive Tuesday, Friday is her b-day and I guess we could fit it in, so thats a possiblity. And then Monday would be out with the plans I have for that day.
Now if we don't go, then thats one thing I don't have to worry about! LOL!

Hmmm. I am trying to find the info on Disney site, but can't. Found it on 2 other sites though, one says 1;30-2;30 on 3 days a wekk, while the other say 2-3 Mon-Fri.

I might be interested in at least the Alice dress. I want to buy one for my little one that is coming. I know it's like really far off before she can wear it, but I'm afraid Disney will stop selling the costume before she's old enough. How much do you want for it? Is it in good condition?
