Dairy Farmers Wife IS going to Disney in March/April!

Don't just just love it when a conversation turns unexpectedly to a Disney conversation?

Well that happened today!

Skips brother, the one I had said worked for him ,but wasn't all that great and was going to quit (not the partener in the farm brother). Well he quit awhile back and has been going from job to job. Basically he can't keep up with any of these jobs and has been let go.
MIL has been bugging Skip to hire him back, but "Sam" (made up name for BIL) has never said he wants to come back. To make a really long story short, MIL told me the other night that she knew he was going to lose his latest job from what she was hearing from him, and she was mad at Skip for not taking him back (again, Sam hasn't asked to come back), and now it's her problem to take care of him...which is alot of his problem in life...he's alway had someone taking care of him.

Skipping over the stupid family drama, MIL told Skip that Sam did indeed get let go last night.
Skip said that he and Dave talked it over and had MIL call Sam up and told him to stop over. Not sure if he will or not. (when he left he said he was going to Dance on Skips grave when he died:rolleyes1)
Skip told me about his plans for hiring him back at lunch today. I wasn't too happy. I reminded him about the pain in the butt he is, etc. But Skip was happy with his new plan and told me I should be too, because that would make my chances of going on "that vacation" I want to go on 10% greater! Wait!...What? ..... What did you say? I quickly came back with, so up 10% from what? 90%? LOL!
So I quickly started with more Disney talk. I reminded him how Claire and I really want to go for her b-day. I also told him that there were good sales going on, but a decison would have to be made by mid Oct.....his reply to that.....I don't care about sales....I like paying full price! LOL!
I then told him how if he was still hurting he could spend as much time as he wanted in the room or where ever, and we would do whatever to be sure he wasn't in pain. His response..."Why don't you just tie me to a pull, that way I won't be in the way"...I told you he can be a baby. Of course we did laugh about it some, and I did say if he needed a wheelchair I would push him or do whatever needed......and thats when the man mind came into play....he told me I can up the chances more by getting more "activity out of that room"...as he pointed to the bedroom...and then he had the nerve to say I had to actually look like I was enjoying it too! :lmao: Boy, he wants the world on a platter. :worship:
He said he would either have to take us if I fulfilled my promise, or he would make me so sick of him and discourage me so much that I would give up the trip. :rotfl2:
So, I must say I was in good spirits today. At least we kind of broke the silenece about the trip that has been going on lately. He knows we want to go, and we hint all the time, but I haven't said it directly too him lately with all his pain issues.

:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl: So much for the diet coke I was drinking...half of it went on the computer screen! :rotfl2:

It was pretty funny, and I had skip part of the conversation we had earlier in the day "about that room" so it made it even funnier to me. He kept saying that not much was going on, and I told him that was because he was snoring in my face 2 minutes after he got in bed. He then told me , I should've tried to change his mind...and I told him I really didn't want to change his mind. LOL! :rotfl2:

Would you like an earlier BBB appointment on Dec. 10th? I have an 8:05 a.m. that I am going to cancel. I've decided not to do it. Gracie will turn 3 that day and she doesn't like anything in her hair so I think I'll put the money towards MVMCP instead.

Thanks, but no. Claire is not an early riser, and we will be moving from AKL to Pop that day as well. I actually have debated on making it later. I actually wanted 11:15ish, but the guys seemed confused when I asked, so I just stuck with what i got.

LOL!!! Oh my goodness, I just had a lobby full of people stare at me like I was crazy when I read what Skip said!! :lmao: I literally was laughing out loud!

Yes, I agree. more sleep is REALLY what he needs! LOL!

And he he doesn't snore too often, mostly when he's REALLY tired....so why would I wake him?...right?

My Aunt and Uncle have been song writers for years. They have sold some songs and made a little money on them. Nothing a major hit, and I think nothing in the Top 40 type music, but they enjoy it as a side hobbie. In fact way back when Whitney Houstin was first looking to record, one of there songs was a top contender for her, but in the end she went with another one.
Anyways, they are also very political. They go to rallies in Washinton all the time. They have a website about voting a particular person from our area out, etc. And now they wrote a politcal-ish song called "I Miss America", and are going to put in on there site. They wanted to have the Pledge of Allegience said at the begining, so Claire and my Niece were nominated to do it. They hired a singer to sing it. If I get a link to the youtube video of the song, I'll post it later on. I think it's still being made.

Anyways, here are pictures of Claire and Alexis recording their part.

I'm glad things are looking up for your Disney trip - I know exactly what its like to have a Disney resistant husband. In a couple of weeks we are going to Charleston SC for a business trip for him (and we don't have to pay for the hotels and half the meals!); so, I mentioned casually that since we are only about 6 hours from Disney, why don't we go down for a day or two - I had to wait about three weeks to get a definite answer, but we are now driving down to Disney - and I found a PIN code that Disney had emailed me a while back, so we got a good price for POP, which I'm surprised he wants to stay on property, he's even more "frugal" than me! We'll only have one full day at MK but this little trip should hold me over until my 2012 trip (that he doesn't know about yet!). :rotfl:

Girl, you are too funny! I am glad that "the trip" talk is actually out in the air and you can now discuss it. John doesn't even question if we are going to Disney. We discuss when we are going to Disney. It's just a known fact at our house that Disney is where we will go every Summer.

Do you remermber what you told me that John says about planning a trip? I used that line on Skip too! :rotfl:
