Last I heard was that it’s still having issues and D23 had said to hold off until they can fix it

How or where did you hear that? And how are we supposed to be informed that it is fixed?

I just called and they said it is taking 2-3 DAYS to show up to the recipient. Wow, someone needs to help their IT department! I tried again to transfer to my daughter and we will see if she gets it by Friday.

Ours showed up within minutes, but the link led to a page with no way to accept. Wash, rinse, repeat... Hope they manage to fix this and let people know soon.

Yes, i should have been more clear....the email showed up in minutes but the green bar on the page it leads the recipient to is not there. No way to take action. This is what the person I spoke with said is taking 2-3 days. We will see since we are still in the first 24 hours.

Reality is cons don't publish schedule until 2-3 weeks prior. San Diego Comic-Con -- still radio silence. Haven't even gotten tickets shipping yet either. 6 weeks away.

I think they won't cut it so close because of the lotteries. I'm trying to remember how far in advance they did it 2 years ago, but we had more than a couple of weeks to make selections for guaranteed entry to panels (if one got lucky)

Yeah, I'm in those groups as well. I saw a moderator post "We spoke to D23 this morning, and they are asking that people hold off on trying to transfer tickets." Yet every individual sharing that they contacted D23 was told to give it 2-5 days or "by the end of the week." It appears that only the moderator was told to stop trying to transfer tickets.

I saw that post and have been waiting to transfer my friend's ticket since. I'll see what people say by the end of the week

I have one that I submitted over a week ago with no movement.

There are two others (single day tickets) that I put in the transfer queue this morning.

I called D23 last week and was told that they hoped to get it fixed by early this week. I'll call again if nothing happens by Wednesday.

Update- we were just able to transfer D23 expo tickets - about 15 minutes ago!
Cancelled the original transfer and redid it. Worked immediately!

Thank you for mentioning this! I was able to send them again and the transfer was successful! Looks like Disney IT was able to fix this today but it broke runDisney registration.

This is our first D23 and we are having issues transferring a ticket to our 17 year old. Is it not permitted for minors? It can't find any mention about this in their FAQ. Thanks.
