D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event 8/9/24-8/11/24 **Tickets on sale 3/26** **Sold Out on 3/29**

This is our first D23 and we are having issues transferring a ticket to our 17 year old. Is it not permitted for minors? It can't find any mention about this in their FAQ. Thanks.
I don't think that they have ages on the email accounts, do they?

If you initiated the transfer earlier last week, cancel it and restart the transfer. Our initial one got stuck; retried and went through after whatever IT fixed that was broke.

Just making sure.... Does your 17 year old have a D23 account?

Haven't received shipping notification or our badges yet. Is anyone else still waiting?

Got my badge. Email came June 25 with a tracking number. Badge itself arrived on July 1 in my regular US Mailbox.

Note: the email comes from “Showclix”. If you don’t have an email might check your spam folder, etc. But I guess equally possible that they are shipping in batches.

Letter that came with it didn’t seem to say anything new. It did say our Honda Center passes would be emailed. I haven’t seen those. Didn’t seem to be in ticket link with confirmation. Anyone know anything about those?

Not ready yet. They said later. Hopefully it's before the expo starts :rotfl2:

When I log onto my account, it says "not shipped" but has a tracking code. When I click on the tracking code, it takes me to the UPS site and says, "on the way to UPS"

Anyone able to help me make a decision on which hotel to stay in for D23? We have reservations for Pixar Place booked but I’m considering staying at Best Western Stovall's Inn instead due to the proximity to the convention centre and that they have the free breakfast. Any insight to other pros and cons, what you would do?

I would take the hotel closer to the convention center. You may not be able to take advantage of breakfast if you are going to get to the convention center on the early side.

I don't know anything about the Best Western, but I can personally attest it's a *haul* from any of the Disney hotels to the convention center and not one you want to do at least twice a day on tired feet. And if you're planning on doing full days at the convention, then what use is the hotel other than really collapsing into your bed at the end of the day?

Ah so same basic answer as the RSP process huh? I laughed when I saw on their Things To Know page that it says additional RSP info will be available "Early Summer 2024". They're really starting to stretch the definition of "early summer", especially when it's 110 degrees outside right now. 🤣

We are staying at Hotel Lulu for the convention and then switching to VDH on points for our park days.

I’m just glad the RSP is supposed to start July 15th according to the letter with the badges. I didn’t want to have to do it while we are in London. I had to book dining for the trip while we were in Japan.

Guess I didn’t read the letter close enough, I didn’t see that date. Of course I’ll be on a cruise. Lol. But usually they give a week or two for people to make selections and it doesn’t matter if you’re first or last to do it right?

This year I’m going to look for the confirmation email. Screwed jt up last year. I also continue to wonder if making less choices gives you any more chance of getting one of the things you really want. Lol.

Last time there was a window of days to make your selections. Hoping that’s what they do this time, but there’s no way to know until it’s announced.

I got confirmation that my tickets were shipped. Still haven't received them.

When will we know what choices we have? Does that not get released until the 15th?

They will likely release the full schedule a few days before on the day the RSP goes live. I believe last time around we had like a week to make selections and then it was like one week after the rsp window closed that they sent out what you got into.
