I will be at the D23 Expo with just the regular tickets next month. My DA & I will be staying at BW Stovalls. I can't believe it is almost time for the 2nd annual D23 Expo.
In general, other than the Legends and the Wizards cast, I seem to recall that most of the other celebrities were surprises during the feature film presentation. I heard there were also many other Disney legends in attendance if you had good seats, but we were in the cheap seats and can't say from direct experience. -- Suzanne
From the OP on this thread:
I thought I would compile a list and keep updating it as more people join in because I'm curious to see who all is going. If you indicated where you are staying, I'll put that info too. I'm sure as the Expo gets closer more people will be looking for information.
I'm gleaning this information from the posts in this thread, if you didn't specifically mention you purchased one of the special packages, I've put you down as a General Ticket Holder, if that's a mistake, let me know.
[snip] The heavily used venues were WD Studios Theater, Stage 23 and Storytellers Theater. [snip]
I am still a little worried that there is no WD Studios Theater this time. That was the second largest venue (after the Arena) on the 3rd floor. Even though it was a big room, we were couldn't get into the Muppets presentation held there (arrived only about 1/2 hour prior cuz we went to the Animation presentation in the Arena) and I sure others were turned away from the P&F presentation.
On the other hand, with only 3 days, just the Arena schedule already feels like our days will be full.
I am also a little disappointed that Bob Iger won't be there to open the Expo. -- Suzanne
wow..just noticed that was missing..hmm...no evening movie showings??? Hope they have those.
And I still wonder if Mr. Iger will open the Legend ceremony like last year, just not be the 'host' (he's pretty handsome)

We are going with the regular tickets. we are staying at VGC and going to the parks Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, and planning to go the Expo on Friday. Since our vacation time is limited I am not sure if we should go to the Expo for a second day. Anyone has any advise?
I wouldn't miss a day at the Expo..every day is different and was jammed packed.
So like I said above, I don't care about this Marvel thing. I'll still be good on Sunday? I still think we'll skip Saturday, just seems like too much.
Question---- where do people park? I'm wondering if we should do the M&F parking structure even though it's so far.

Looks like we're doing Friday and Sunday. The kids weren't interested in Lion King. I'm not interested in Marvel, but will surviveI've got 2 extra Guest tickets in hand already for Friday, which I need to get up on ebay here soon.
The Expo website says that the Anaheim Convention Center will offer parking and to check back for prices.
