Morning Troops !! 1 month from tomorrow Tracey and I will be making the TRIP to DC!!We have the Hotel booked , cost a little more than we thought BUT it sounds GREAT !! All very positive reviews with the EXCEPTION of a couple who obnviously had OBNOXIOUS Kids !!

A complimentary hot breakfast buffet is included !! We should arrive late on saturday night .So will be all ready Sunday morning to head to the Meet .. which is WHERE Liessa ?? Dc is pretty big
Also how many Dissers will there be ?????Are we ar sub Division of the INFAMOUS Army!!!!?????

WOW! Is it really only ONE month!!!?? I know I have 2 1/2 weeks left here, then a week and a half in Bowling Green, OH, and a couple of fabulous days in Germany!!! Sure is coming up quickly!! Suddenly, I"m down to eating out of mismatched dishes and using up what's left in the cupboard!!

Your hotel sounds GREAT! You two are going to have a GREAT time! Hopefully neither of you snores.

We have another "recruit" of sorts!!!

Baker's Family!!!!!

They are the ones we were trying to send to Disney and tomorrow was the LAST DAY we could possibly pay the money for Disney to hold the Free Dining reservation.

So after Sunday church - when we were still $1100 away from our goal - I resigned myself to the fact that we would have to postpone it...

But God is so much bigger than my little mind! I guess HE figured He had till Wednesday and came through at the right time! Someone - anonymously - deposited $1000 in the charity account which put us in exact range of what Disney needed by tomorrow!

So...

They are going to Disney!!!!!!!!





I am really excited! Of course - it will make this trip just that much more interesting - but there is no doubt in my mind that this is what God wants for their family and that the timing is right for them.


Baker's Mom has been talking to him about Disney and how he needs to be "ready" and a "big boy" while he is there (she did not know yet that we were afraid we would have to postpone it) - and he made a HUGE progress toward that today - he hit a major milestone in potty training! - just the thought of going to Disney is really motivating him! I am so excited to see how this is all going to turn out!

Well...so far - if a bunch more money doesn't come in - I will be playing tour guide/CNA. Which will be interesting. But I need to talk to his Mom and make sure our big stuff on this trip that starts Sunday is on the "schedule" for me!

I was blown away by the donation and even more by the timing of it. The person who donated did NOT know it was so urgent - she said God told her to go ahead and take care of it. She was floored that we were about to move the trip.

Great news! We've booked our flight and hotel for the DC Meet!!!

Slight change of plans since we last spoke, Liesa. We're going to rent a car for our entire stay but would it still be possible for you and your sister to swing by our hotel? (I will PM you the hotel details) Then we could all travel together from Baltimore airport to Bethesda but in separate cars. Reason being, to make a long story short, is that we need the car is so we can get back to Baltimore airport with ease. So we're going to fly in early on the Saturday 28th to spend the day touring around Baltimore. Should be fun! We didn't want to go all that way and not see lots of new sights. Then we'll meet up with you on the Sunday 29th and go to lunch together to meet up with the rest of the gang. We'll have to leave at around 3pm to get back to the airport in time. Too bad we can't stay for dinner festivities but I will have to be up early the next morning for work

Bummer. Anyways, let me know if said plans work for you.

I'm actually going on vacation Saturday for the week to Cape Cod. We rent a house there every year. I'm so looking forward to relaxing in a beach chair with a good book!!

Here's my answer: Boy - I know you said this was an easy one, but I swear it took me hours of searching!! I finally went to your EPCOT chapter and the first thing on your Japan hidden gems is Miyuki. I'm still not sure if I'm right but I guess I'll go with that!! I'm enjoying the hunt!!
