D-Day Invasion- "Strange"-ly Imminent!! TRIP REPORT IS UP!!

FOR ME- it's the little things that I"m looking forward to in my WDW vacation.

Here are a few:


~~ A meal where water WITH ICE comes automatically WITH my meal

~~ The words "thank you" and "you're welcome" are often spoken

~~ A pillow that doesn't have lumps

~~ No sand blowing in my face when I walk down the street

~~ Free sugar with my coffee

~~ Signs that tell me how to get to where I need to go

~~ Fruit that has been washed with clean water

~~ Sidewalks

~~ Being able to use my debit card wherever I go

~~ Bars of soap that don't melt after 3 baths

~~ Bath water that doesn't smell like the river

~~ Asking for a new plate in English

I could have an entire vacation with just these, and be one happy camper!


20 DAYS LEFT!!!!

I think you should treat yourself to some of the soap from one of the Disney stores (or just take it out of your room when you leave ).

Mary, I understand your ordeal with The Boot! A year ago I was in the same boat, with a Disney trip looming and that same heavy HOT boot on my foot. By seriously a MIRACLE I was completely healed days before the trip and went BOOT FREE. I was in awe. I was in crazy pain just a week before yet had zero issues at WDW! I know your situation is different than mine was, but I just wanted to post that I can sympathize with The Boot and how hot it is in the middle of summer...and how it gets old walking around in it with that uneven gait...I remember my hips hurting at the end of a day.

I think the ECV will work out just fine for you, don't worry about slowing the troops down - it will just make everyone slow down too and enjoy the trip even more. Besides, I think both ladies, and you, are most excited about spending time with each other than running from ride to ride.

And yes, cortisone shots HURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT! Owie!!!!!!!!!!

So true! I am sitting here in our teammate's apt. where I had a TERRIBLE night's NON-sleep! Mosquitoes, being on a couch, being hot, then a HORRIBLE fight that I could hear from the neighbors, basically kept me up ALL night long.

We had good news tonight. I had a $20 winning lotto ticket and bought two $10 scratch tickets. Grumpy and I each scratched one. I won $15; he won $500. This is paying for our Halloween tickets and a few extras.

Well, if we'd known how thing were going to work out at our own house yesterday, we'd have just stayed there!! Those who were supposed to have come to get beds and the fridge postponed until today, so actually we COULD have had a good night's sleep. AH well.... you can't look into a crystal ball if you don't have one.

Only 1 more night of this nonsense, and then we can sleep well again.

Yes, I swear I thought it was going to end in blows. They (assuming it was a husband and wife) were really, really angry!! And knowing that domestic abuse happend in approx. 75% of homes, I thought it would end up pretty bad. Needless to say, I think I got a total of about 2 hours of snooze time. It's 5:00 here now, and I still have to completely re-arrange our carry-ons one last time.

Knowing Kathy, she may just send it. When she does make sure you get a ticket that overlaps both our times there!
