As you are doing, I am seeing this as bad news AND good news!I have some trip news...
Some of the bad news......HOT in September!!!Can you say HOT...![]()

Huge chunk of the GOOD news! You will be working towards getting better! Also, attitude has a lot to do with how you handle this, AND how quickly you heal and get better! Keep that positive attitude and think of the benefits!I was really upset after the appt, but have come to terms with this a bit...It is what it is and I can't really do anything about it except take care of myself so that I can participate in future trips and even a half marathon again at some point. And I can control my attitude about it - which is going to be upbeat and trying to look at the bright side.

Some more of the good news!!! Glad this next step in the process actually helps you feel better!Well, one thing to note is that my foot actually does feel a lot better in the boot. It has not really hurt since I put it on - which is really nice! Not hurting when I walk is a major bonus - and that part will help our trip, because I won't be in pain the whole time - pain tends to bring on the cranky.

I never knew there were EIGHT dwarfs....We don't want Grumpy Butt to show up!![]()

The good news is Disney is really set up for and very attentive to this type situation, including their transportation systems!!!So, I have to have an ECV.
This just may make his trip to new surroundings more comfortable for him.....that you are in a similar mode of transportation. Is there a sign in here somewhere maybe........My solo days are going to be fine with the ECV, because Baker has to use a wheelchair, too - so I will be just part of the gang on that leg of my trip.

Jeremiah 29:11Anyway...I am pretty discouraged, but trying to stay positive!
