I would call the store on Saturday night to make sure they have it in stock and have them hold it for you. That's too bad you are so far away from a CVS.

Do you know if the Pedialax is only for this week? If so I need to go get that tomorrow on my way to Disney!

It is a monthly deal. So, you have until Sunday. Have a great trip!

OK-I have another question now (sorry, but I don't get to CVS often due to the distance)

Since the AcneFree deal starts on Sunday, and I get there and they only have say 2 boxes yet I want more, can I get a raincheck? and how does that work with the ECB if I don't redeem the raincheck during that week?

Thanks!

Yes! You can get a raincheck. And don't forget they never expire and you can use them at any CVS. Now, my experience with rainchecks and ecbs...There was Physicians Formula mascara for $7.99, get back $7.99(free after ecb's). The cashier wrote up the raincheck for $0. So, I didn't get any ecb's back, but I got the mascara for free. But, really, I would ask your store. They may choose to handle rainchecks in a different way.

Woo hoo!!! Thanks for the info! Now I am not freaking out as much about them having it in stock!! I sure wish I lived closer to a CVS!

I have to send DD and she is not a pro so I want to be sure what to tell her . I can count on her to stand her ground but I want it to be firm ground !!!

Last time I was there was BOGO Mineral Makeup and I had a Covergirl BOGO coupon and it worked fine. No ECBs on the deal though at the time, but I don't see why it still wouldn't work the same. CVS will get the retail price back on the Covergirl coupon anyway

OK all you CVS experts-I ned some help in understanding what I was told today when I made the 45 mile run to CVS for the AcneFree today.

I got there and they only had 1 AcneFree, so I asked for a Rain Check for 4 of them. I asked how that worked for ECBs if they didn't get any in this week and I had to get them in the next few weeks. The AM told me that I needed to call Corp and have them add them to my card.

Then I went to another CVS and they had 2 AcneFree in stock and I used DH's card and asked for a rain check on 3 of them. I asked this cashier about the ECBs and she told me that if I didn't get them this week that I would not get my ECBs (even though she wrote it on the raincheck)

So, can anyone tell me how ECBs are supposed to work on Rain Checks?

(I was able to snag a September booklet and I see that all month there is $5 EBC on the AcneFree so I am "safe" for this deal, but want to know for future Rain Checks.) And I guess that I need to know how that would work if I use the Rain Checks later in Sept-I can get the sale price on the AcneFree (17.99) and it should still me my ECBs, correct?

So I have never done a deal with a bogo item and a coupon. How does this work? By the way I am new to CVS. I have only done a few transactions.

I ran out of 4/$20 coupons so I bought all of this together.

3 suave body wash - $6
Gillette Venus Breeze - 9.99
3 Gillette Body Wash - $11.97
2 CoverGirl Outlast Lip color - 9.99 (w/BOGO)
2 CoverGirl Aquasmoother - 7.99 (w/BOGO)
CoverGirl Wetslicks Amazemint - 5.99
7 Special K Bars (@ .22/each) - 1.54
6 Kashi Protein Bars (@ .41/each) - 2.46

Coupons:
Suave BOGO coupon ($2)
CoverGirl Outlast BOGO coupon ($9.99)
2 $1 off Cover Girl coupons
Gillette $2 coupon
3 $1 off Gillette body wash coupons
$17 in ECBs

My total OOP w/tax is $20.90. Got $15.99 in ECBs. My receipt says that I saved $71.35. :cutie: For once, I had hubby with me and he saw the total drop from $70 something down to $20 which made me :cool1:

Congratulations! I am anxious to hear how your trip was when you get back - eat, drink and be merry and give your parents a big anniversary hug from me. I'll be drooling thinking about your deluxe dining plan while you're gone!

I think I did really well!

You did amazing!

Many stores usually write them for the amount after ECB ($12.99). The reason they probably didn't write it for $12.99 was because of the monthly deal - if you'd gotten more in Sept., you would've gotten the $12.99 price PLUS $5 ECB (and less any mfg. coupon). You'll still get the ECBs with the $17.99 price all through September, as long as you don't go over the monthly limit. Are you in MN (sorry if I've asked before) - if you are, the trucks come in on Thursdays and they have everything on the shelves on Friday mornings so that's a good time to call and ask them to hold them for you.

So I have never done a deal with a bogo item and a coupon. How does this work? By the way I am new to CVS. I have only done a few transactions.

You get both items free, and you pay the tax.

The easiest way to use the CoverGirl BOGO coupons is to make sure that all items are the same price or the register will want to take the lower price for each coupon.

I split up transactions like this:

9.99 CoverGirl Outlast
FREE CoverGirl Outlast
9.99 CoverGirl Outlast
FREE CoverGirl Outlast
-9.99 CoverGirl BOGO mfg.
-9.99 CoverGirl BOGO mfg.
tax
*********************
5.99 CoverGirl Wetslick
5.99 CoverGirl Wetslick
-5.99 CoverGirl BOGO mfg.
-2.00/10 CVS coupon
3.99 (earned $5.99 ECB)

unfortunately there does not seem to be a standard response to this question. I was told by CS at the 800 # that I can call CVS customer service after the rain check transaction and they would issue me an ECB to print on my next trip however I just don't personally trust that. Some people have reported that they will write on the rain check the amount MINUS the ECB so if the sale is $20 then they would write $15 on the rain check but it is a YMMV type of thing.

So I have never done a deal with a bogo item and a coupon. How does this work? By the way I am new to CVS. I have only done a few transactions.

If there is a buy one get one free sale you can...
* use 2 mfg coupons (1 being used per item) OR
* use a bogo free coupon and get both items free

I have done this MANY times and never had a problem :goodvibes
