CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 8/31-9/6

My mom just got diagnosed with tendonitis in her shoulder, so guess who volunteered to pick up her medicine at CVS

.10 OOP and earned back $2 ECB.....Total cost of $2.10. I hate not at least breaking even on ECBs, but for Pantene it is an Excellent deal!

9.98 2 Glade Scented Oil plus warmer ($4.99 each)
.22 Special K Bar
-2.00 $2/$10 CVS coupon
-8.00 2 Glade $4 coupons
.20 OOP and $0 ECB earned, but excellent deal. I totally forgot I had these coupons and they expire end of next week, so I figured I would use them up!

Yes, the ones that were .22 were marked 75% off at all the CVS's I've been too (5 this week ). I cleaned out 4 stores (probably close to 50 bars) and the last one I went to today had already been wiped out. These bars are the smaller Special K protein bars, and only in the choc pb and choc delight flavors (the strawberry ones weren't marked anywhere). The Cocoa Via bars are also 75% off making them $1.25 for a box of 5.

We're going up to visit my parents this weekend, so I'm hoping to check out their CVS for any remaining Special K bars (how sad is that?).

They still weren't marked down at either of my stores but I took them to the register and they scanned at .22!!

I had a marathon shopping day today...hit 4 CVS'. One of them I rarely go to and they had the best stuff. I found 8 more bottles of Dawn hand renewal for .99-.50 q's, 4 boxes of slimfast optima bars for $1.67-$1.25 q's, and a whole box of the .22 special k bars. But the absolute best of all...I found some $3/$15 coupons!! There is a publication called 50+ Senior News that is distributed in Lancaster County(and 5 surrounding counties) and there was a $3/$15 coupon in the middle of it...expires 12/31/08. Unfortunately, only 1 of the 4 CVS' had any...and there were only 4 copies left. I'm gonna save them for when the $2/$10 expires at the end of the month. So, bizeemom4, Puffkin and GraysMom(and anyone else in this area), keep your eyes open for them. It is distributed in Lancaster, Lebanon, Chester, Cumberland, Dauphin and York counties. The coupon is redeemable only in PA. Keep your eyes open in CVS, restaurants, doctors offices...anywhere the 50+ set would congregate. Good luck! Here's a link to their website:

When you check your CVS', it is the stand at the front of the store that holds the weekly flyers. In fact the 4 copies that I found, were hidden underneath the CVS flyers. Also, check near the pharmacy. I know the issue is released monthly. Maybe there is a new coupon in there every month. Oooohhh. I hope, I hope, I hope.

I went to a second CVS today looking for bargains.

They had the summer clearance marked down to 90%. I was thrilled to find a box of the giant freeze pops but my excitement quickly diminished when they scanned the regular price of $14.99. I asked the cashier and she said that none of the food was on sale.

I left with some more bottles of Gazillions bubbles for 39 cents each and a few bag of Mike & Ike Lemonade Stand candy bags for 17 cents each (these were 75% off).

I was actually proud of the fact that I went into CVS today after looking at their ad; they had Pampers on sale for $9.99 (with ECC) and I had a $1.00 of coupon. Woot!
