CVS ECB deals - Sales for Week 7/15-7/21

Transaction #1
10.00 - 4 boxes of tea bags (100 ct.) I was surprised as I thought they would be the smaller packages on sale!!! :cool1: So 400 tea bags  I'll also get another 400 with card #2.

Since you are buying that much tea (me too!) there's a $5/$10 rebate available. Go to www.lipton.com, click on the USA link and there's a link to a .pdf form for the rebate. Makes a great deal even better!:cool1:

Thats actually why I'm buying so much! I have been waiting for a deal like this to take advantage of the rebate :cool1: But thanks for a reminder :thumbsup2 I think the direct link is in the OP too.

I am planning a CVS trip for tomorrow!! I am all over that Huggies deal (if they have any left). I plan on using my $10 off $50 coupon as that is burning a hole in my pocket. I just can't quit CVS!! LOL

I have a question: I have a Q for "buy 2 Edy's get a 2 liter of Vanilla Coke free" that I got in a magazine. Does anyone know if I could do the CVS BOGO on the Edy's and if that would count as my 2?

TIA :thumbsup2

Oh and also, I was reading earlier that I could use my MFG Q on the
Vive for BOGO along with the CVS BOGO deal and get both of them for free,
am I correct?

I know that for the Edy's deal, yes, the two of them would count towards your free Coke deal. I don't know about the Vive deal....hmmmm...

So, somebody clue me in....what is "diet pepsi max invigorating cola"? Got my 12 pk of it for free today but I don't even know if I want it. Is it like the diet coke plus that has vitamins in it or something? Is it any good? I love my diet pepsi so I hope it tastes the same as diet pepsi....anybody tried it yet?

By the way, I was a stupid shopper at CVS today. This was stuff I actually needed I bought 4 12pks for $11, got the free 12pk and got the bogoF Edy's ice cream. My total came to $17 and change. I could have spent $3 more and saved the $4/$20 but it didn't even occur to me....and then....after my receipt printed I got a $10ECB for filling out a survey a while ago. I should have bought a pack of gum or something first to see if I had any good coupons coming. Could have used that $10 to pay towards today's purchases. Oh well, not one of my best CVS trips but I actually wanted the soda and ice cream and didn't take time to "plan" my trip well.

I'm going to go for it this week and start officially saving money and getting Extra Bucks at CVS.......you guys have really given me motivation!!

Quick question though:

I have lots of manufactors coupons. How will that effect my totals?? Like, I have a $7 off scrubbing bubbles shower cleaner thing, which will bring down my total big time off the buy $30 get $15 in bucks. Will I still be able to get them?? Do I wait until they total the register and then hand them the coupons?? I actually have some Cottonelle ones to, so I don't want them to say "oh, sorry---you're total with your coupons was $20 instead of $30 so you don't get the bucks"..............thanks for your help!!

If you are going to use one of the $4/$20, $10/$50 etc. you may want to give that coupon to the cashier FIRST. A cashier at my store wants to do the man coupons first which would lower my total. Now, someone here may know but I was given the impression by the cashier that the total had to be over $20 or $50 or whatever when she scanned the coupon. Now I had her that one first and then pull out my man. q's -- she looks annoyed, oh well :rotfl:

BTW, DH bought me a 1/2 day spa GC and said I deserved it for saving so much money  I'm a lucky woman.:goodvibes

Rhonda,

Sunsilk was last week...ended Saturday...

On the Pantene, registers probably not let you use the second coupon since each coupon deals with a two item purchase. However, you may find a sily cashier here and there who let's it by. I wouldn't count on it though.

On the Kashi, It's awfully optimistic to think they will actually have 5 boxes in any one store.

The most stores in our area have may be 3-4 on the shelf. YMMV.

Good luck though.

There's a different sunsilk deal - by one shampoo and conditioner and get a free 24/7 creme product. This was in an email CVS sent to me - it expires 7/31. Hope this helps.

I have 2 mfg Q for 1.50 each
and they are running a G1(24/7)WYB2 sunsilk

I am keeping my fingers crossed on the go lean...It's one of the bigger CVS'
 here.

I'm off

I am heading out soon to CVS. I am addicted. It's so bad!! But it feels so good!! LOL

Here's mine from today (the coupons in our paper were surprisingly quite good, so I was able to apply for the Buy $20, Get $15 ECB with a slight profit - thanks again Kimya, these coupons reminded me of your kind gesture):
2 Skippy Peanut Butters - $3 for 2
1 Lamisil Cream 12 G - $9.99
1 Lamisilk Exfol. $6.49
1 Excedrin Back/Body 24 ct - $4.49 ***

*** Alongside the $2 coupon from the Sunday paper is a mail-in rebate, so I'll do that, even though it specifically notes that it is after the $2 coupon.

Less $4/$20 CVS coupon
Less $4 man.coupon from yesterday's paper on Lamisil cream
Less $3 man.coupon from yesterday's paper on Lamisilk
Less $2 man.coupon from yesterday's paper on Excedrin Back/Body, any size
Less $10 ECB
OOP = 97 cents
Received back $15 ECB.

These big ($15) ECBs are hard for me to use up, but I'm thinking maybe I can put together another $20 order and use another $4/$20 coupon, possibly something with buying another 5 Skippy Peanut butters (kids eat a lot of this and I'll get another $5 ECB) and a couple of gallons of milk ($3.89/G which is a bit higher than other area stores) but not sure what else yet as I really try not to get suckered into spending much oop by buying things at CVS for more than I'd pay elsewhere.

If you have any coupons and combine a $/$$ coupon you might be able to pull down the $15 WYB $30 deal low enough to break even or spend little OOP. With toilet paper/paper towels/cleaning products we use them anyway so even paying $15 isn't too bad but bringing it down even more will make it better! I have the $5/$30 email so I'm already at the paying $10 w/o coupon mark on that deal!
