CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 11/16-11/22

Just a heads up today CVS cashier told me to give him my ECBs first and it would save me some money. I don't know why but I would hand over the ECBs I planned to use, then he would take off coupons. Usually he would give me coupons back and I would be about .24 negative. I would get 2 hershey bars (2for $1) and use a BOGO to end up with a few cents OOP.

I did not even use my 3/15. Can't tell you how this works but it did.

Alright. I'm going to give this CVS thing a shot this week since I want to get Wall E for DS's birthday on Thursday (he calls Wall E "baby" :goodvibes ). I'm so nervous about going....you guys seem to really know what's going on and how this should all work....I'm so scared to even go to CVS tomorrow when Wall E comes out!

Wish me luck!

ETA: Went on line to look at the card and such to see what I could find and this was on the CVS website:

For the Glade Deal, will this work?

I have a coupon "buy any one glade plins oil refill, get one plugins scented oil holder free?

So if i buy the oil holder 7.99 ( or so)
refill - 3.99

and use the coupon and get upto 7.99 off?

Will i get the 5ecb?

i thought i read that the oil holder was working? anyone buy one?

thanx

lisa

It worked for me last night. I was afraid since it wasn't pictured in the ad. (I got the plug in w/the fan like the one pictured on the coupon, which is all they had)

I had to argue with the lady b/c she kept saying that wasn't right and I shouldn't get $7.99 off. I had to tell her that is EXACTLY what is pictured. She finally put her glasses on and agreed. :rotfl:

I just used those coupons today and it sure does work. Is even sweeter if you can find the twin pack of refills that are on sale.

I too would like to know about Thankxgiving Day at CVS??????

I asked at one of the CVSs today if they had the ad for Thanksgiving and was told no.

so yours came out to 9.98 - and did it work or did you have to buy something else to hit 10 exactly?

If you have high sales tax in your state, it's supposed to be smartest if you save at least one or two mfg. coupons until the end because they eat up the tax at the end of the transaction.

I did the Glade deal twice today. I bought the $3.99 refill and the $6.99 night light warmer. I got the $5 ECB on both transactions, so a moneymaker for me :cool1:

Also, don't forget the Blade deal this week if you have the Reinventing Beauty coupons. The shave gel is $3.29 with $1 off this week. Use the $2 Blade coupon and you pay .29 PLUS get a $1 ECB. Limit 5. Another little moneymaker!

If you place an online order, your quarterly spending amount on your store receipt will get tripled, this is the amount you pay out-of-pocket (less tax) on most items (excludes prescriptions, gift cards, alcohol, tobacco). At the end of the quarter, you get 2% of that back in an ECB after you reach increments of $25.

I would guess that it's not worth placing an online order to do this. You have to spend quite a bit to get free shipping and you can't use coupons. If you placed an order for $50, you would get $1.50 back at the end of the quarter (plus 2% of your out-of-pocket spend at the store, which would also be tripled for the quarter). Maybe at the most, you'd end up with a $5 ECB on Jan. 1.

They used to have a "triple rewards" coupon online every quarter that could be scanned at the store, but it was discontinued - probably because many people thought it meant triple ECBs.

Good luck with the Coke/Wall-E trip! It's a good deal, especially if you buy Coke products anyway.

Sorry, maybe I should of given you a little more info. :guilty: I had posted about the Glade offers on Sunday and noone seemed to show interest. I actually used two coupons and did two deals at once. I used the first with the $2.99 refill & bonus warmer and the second with the $3.99 double refill and got $10.00 ecb's back. I did the 4 glass scents (bogo coupons) seperately and got $5.00 ecb's for that. And then did the 4 candle deal (with 1.50 coupons) and got another $5.00 ecb for that. :goodvibes

It was a flyer that was in some CVS's a few months ago. It had a bunch of coupons in it. I found them laying on the counter in the Pharmacy. Some are still floating around if you are lucky and can find them.

Very good I did it twice too!! on different cards! I've done the Duracell 4x using 2 cards

Ok, been away from CVS for a while....couldnt find any really good deals, but thank goodness for this week...plus I had some ECBs about to expire this week ;)

1st transaction...quaker oatmeal on sale 2/$5 and was able use 2 of the $1 off high fiber oatmeal...my store didnt have the high fiber, but it went through without beeping...so got the oatmeal for $3 :cool1:

2nd transaction:
Battery Deal...1 8pk of AAA Duracell $8.99
AA 16 pk $9.99
AA 8 pk $5.99
used 2 $ .75 coupons and $5.99 in ECBs, paid $17.48 OOP and got $15 in ECBs totalling $2.48 for this transactions, but didnt realize until i got home, that I got the wrong batteries the 'special' 8 pk of AAA was $8.99, i should have gotten a regular 8 pk for $5.99, so i will probably exchange that tomorrow, making it a little money maker

last transaction:
6 cases of coke for $20
Jr mints, for DS $1.50
butterfinger for DS $. 89
used $15 ECB from battery and paid $7.37 OOP and got the $10 off WALL E movie that comes out tomorrow :woohoo:

I was lucky enough to find the $5 coupons and the L'Oreal, so this is shaping up to be a great CVS week for me. The L'Oreal ECBs went toward the first batteries, those ECBs will buy the second ones, then those will buy the third.:goodvibes

My question . . . my battery total was $21 something. On my receipt, it lists that amount and that $20 was the amount required to do the deal. Does this mean that the $1.95 or so counts toward my next $20? If it does, I can buy the big $9.99 packages, thus getting the most batteries for the least amount of money.

Yes the $1 + adds to your deal and once you pass $20 again you'll get your next ECB.:lovestruc
