I have a child with cerebral palsy and we cruised the Magic 7 day 2 years ago. Before we left, I contacted Disney wanting questions about the childrens' clubs and if my son would be allowed to participate. (He can walk if someone takes his hand, but we brought a travel stroller that is like an umbrella stroller but bigger and better...narrower than wheelchair). They took him in no problem as long as he stayed in the stroller. He loved it!
His little sister was in the same group so she was a help to the counselors and her brother. Disney told me prior to leaving that he needed to be toilet trained which was not a problem. We put pull ups on him and we didn't leave the children for longer than 1 hour. When Disney(public relations department I think?) wrote back, they gave me all the details I needed to know along with a stuffed animal on Simba, a photo of Captain Mickey, and a journal for each of my 2 children. They also upgraded our family from cat. 8 to cat. 5, near an elevator. We were so impressed. The people there have a great heart. We had such an amazing time. Nothing but positive comments!!!! We've just rebooked for March 8/03 and the kids are ecstatic!!!
A wonderful experience for our family. :D

Thanks for the report. It sounds like your family had a great time.
