Me and the family will be on deck 6. My sisters are 15,12, 11 months. And brother 2 1/2. I'm 20 almost 21! can't wait to skip college for this

I think platinumcruizer is traveling with a 21 year old? I am sure you will find lots of people to hang out with.

And dont think of it as skipping college... think of it as an educational experience you cant get in a classroom???

when i originally booked I got Palo for my boyfriend and I because my mother and father werent coming. After I added them to the boat, Palo is sold out for four people. Do you think they would accomodate us on the ship?

you never know! id book two two top tables for the same time and cross your fingers. i bet your parents would enjoy themselves even if at their own table. Palo is a must on at least one cruise!

I LOVE Remy but we didnt book it this cruise.

just let me know when i should probably start packing. we are the ULTIMATE procrastinators for packing. We always head over the night before and grab a hotel room so we can be bright eyed and bushy tailed in the morning. We still haven't told the kids we are going so I am trying to keep things extra quiet here. No luggage in the house. I think I will have to sneak clothing out of their rooms and pack after they go to bed one night.

but YEAH! vacation is almost here.

Just booked our cabin today! Just me (Lisa - 48) and my hubby Drew (46). First cruise without the kids since our honeymoon. Lol. Celebrating our 21st anniversary! I just got off the Dream yesterday with my oldest daughter so I may be able to answer questions if needed. Didn't see the FE or cruise meets listed on the 1st page. Are there any? My DH has already packed his suitcase. I am the last minute packer, but I promised him I would get things together by the weekend. Sorry I didn't join the fish extender group, but I am totally not creative. I was hoping we would have a meet set up by now, does that mean no one is interested?

How great to get to cruise again so soon! My DISfriend Dizneeat was on your cruise and stayed on for the next sailing. Happy Anniversary, we will be celebrating our 31st Anniversary and my DH's 50th Birthday on the cruise. The FE list should be a page or two back.

FE list is closed for this cruise. I can add you but I can't guarantee everyone will be able to gift. Some people have a few extras. If you want me to add you just need names and cabin number, kids ages if any traveling with you.


As for meet and greets. It doesn't seem like anyone has organized anything. We are traveling with kids and likely won't be hitting the evening thing unless we have the kids or they want o stay in the clubs late. There are a lot of adults on the cruise this time...only a small handful of kiddos.


Feel free to organize a meet and greet... Usually at sea days work best.

Once you get on board, you shouldn't have any problem getting reservations. FYI you can share the wine or champagne pairing at Remy. The dinner pairing is a lot of wine and you also get a vodka and champagne cocktail to start. I shared with my daughter and I was pretty blitzed afterward. Lol. Went straight to bed and I never do that. I usually go down to Evolultion to dance for awhile.

Thanks Jeisur! It's fine about the FE. I'm pretty much FE'd out. Had a great time doing it on the cruise I just got off but I'm not ready to do a lot of planning. We had a meet and greet, a cabin tour, candy swap and FE. I'm taking the 14 night Hawaiian cruise in 6 weeks and that is pretty intense cruise planning. This was a very last minute thing my hubby booked on a whim. We'll probably just do the rain forest and alone time,watch a bunch of movies and basically chill. I'm always hoping for Champagne Girls because let's face it, who doesn't love wearing a pink feather boa and a tiara and drinking champagne with a bunch of girls in the afternoon. Hehehe.

I think that was the fabulous Austrian couple! We were always running in to them. They were so creative with their FE Gifts! Not only creative but they gave a gift every single day!

We talked for about an hour in the hallway about our travels and their travels and how much I want to add Austria to our trip next year before the Med cruise. Great people to talk to. She actually came back to our room a bit later and gave me 3 of her favorite tea bags she can only get in London because I mentioned how much I liked tea in England. Soooo sweet! Does that sound like them?

Finishing my FE shopping today being a cast member deff has its perks of finding fun things! Normally I would craft, but considering my time with working so much.. shopping is just as fun when I can! I am exciteddd!!! I almost packed today :X

Yes you are right. I had a feeling you would know Karin and Tom from Austria if you did the FE and the meet. They are great people, we met them on our first cruise being tablemates on the Wonder and started talking about our travels in Europe, then found out we also had the DISboards in common. We are meeting up with them when we get to WDW next week and are cruising with them again next summer.

I would just head to the place where they're doing Palo reservations FIRST THING when you board. They will probably have availability - maybe not for your ideal time/date, but you will be able to get in there. Just make sure to go right away when you board.
