Rosemary - so glad to hear that Oliver is going to be ok. We have a dog and I can understand how worried you must have been. They are a part of the family.

It's nice to hear that there is nice weather somewhere -- but it's not here. It was starting to warm up here last Thursday and Friday, in fact you could see patches of grass because the snow had started to melt. Saturday afternoon though it started to snow and continued through most of Sunday. We've ended up with about 17 cm (6 inches) and it's now really cold again. It think it's around -10C This has been the worst winter in a long, long time. Last winter it was quite warm -- in February people were out in shorts but not this year. Looking so forward to spring.

Looked at the pictures of Emily's first haircut -- boy is she cute and I loved the mickey's ears at the end. I remember Chris getting his first haircut and thinking afterwards that he didn't look like a baby anymore but a 'grown-up' toddler. The time goes so quickly.

Well have to go and get Chris out of the shower so he can catch his bus. He wouldn't get out of bed this morning so he's running late.

Fiona hope that you-get some warmer weather in the snowy northland. We should be seeing some stuff start to budding shortly here in Tennessee if it quits snowing

Hi Mary congratulations on paying off your cruise. Property tax and home owners insurance ate our refund. Remember you girls need just a shade of difference in your hair color to help us tell you apart again. Ave if we can't tell you two apart we will have to keep a dinner roll with us and hope that Casey is aroundwhen you tell him don't do that we will know which one is which.

Good to see you posting Rich. Isn't system recovery on windows xp a hoot. It has saved my bacon a time or two. Mike

Good morning, all!

Rosemary-- So glad to hear that your Ollie is going to be ok. How scary that must have been. Keep us posted on his progress. Good luck keeping him in once he's feeling better. Olivia always thinks she wants outside, but the couple of times she snuck out, she was terrified!

Well, we never made it to Walmart on Saturday. With it raining on top of the snow, things got slick and Jen fell in our driveway getting out of her car and sprained her arm. Good thing the baby was still in the car. We did go to the JCPenney outlet store later that afternoon. Took oldest DS's fiance for some scrubs for work, some summer outfits and swimsuits for Becca, school shirts for Josh.

It was in the 40's here on Saturday, rained all day, then changed to snow overnight. We got a couple of inches yesterday and it's snowing like mad again this morning. I think we're all tired of this long winter.

Ave-- Good luck with your favorites and hope you can get into chat next time.

Tina-- You can put three of us on the hunt list for sure. Don, Josh and myself will do it. I have an email in to Mandy about it, but haven't heard back from her yet. If nothing else, I'll ask her when she comes for Josh's b'day next weekend.

Hi Guys ... Hope everyone had a nice weekend. We went to a Home & Garden show and then collapsed on the couch the rest of the time. Still awfully pooped and now DH Art has the "crud" ... God I hope we don't keep passing this back and forth. AshLee is looking at us like we have kennel cough ... actually we sound it!

Sarah'sMom ... Hope the knee/leg is better. At least it wasn't broken but the ligament can be painful too.

Rosemary ... Tell Oliver we can feel his pain ... My first dalmation had gotten hit by a car and that is just an awful thing. They hurt and can't tell how much and where and their "people" feel so bad for them. AshLee sends "woofies" her way.

The scavenger hunt looks interesting ... gotta pass this past Art and see what he thinks. Can we team up? (Get together with 2 other people to make a 4-some)

1) how do we(my husband and myself) meet up with others on the ship?
2) how do we enter the scavenger hunt?

Just 15 minutes ago we booked the last missing part of our Florida-trip: I made reservations via the Internet at the Comfort Inn in Crystal River. Now we're all set, we just need to buy tickets for USF/IoA, but we'll do that in Florida.

Hey everyone -

Thanks to everyone's comments about my sweet little Emily. She is a doll, isn't she?? But, I suppose I'm a little biased. Anyway, she was such a good girl during her haircut. Maura covered her in Mickey stickers and I was on my knees blowing bubbles and she was just fine. The only time that she got a little testy was when Maura put a Mickey barrette in her hair. And, we actually had 2 proud uncles there taking pics of Emily. It was me and Chris, my mom, my brother and Chris' brother all there to see Emily's first haircut.

Fiona - That was exactly what I was thinking when Emily's haircut was done. She's starting to look like a little girl now, and not a baby.

Rosemary - you're right, I can't believe we didn't get pictures of Chris' blue hair.

Welcome to Arlene and her group. You'll love this group of people, they are a lot of fun!!!

Mike - I saw the pictures that you sent back to Chris corrected. They look really great. Where do you get icorrect? Is it software that you buy, or online?

Well, Emily's a little too quiet in the other room. I better go see what she's up to. And, I better get back to work.

I got bad news from Frankfurt ,
our newborn Baby-Giraffe died tonight. He had a large problem with his bowels yesterday and was treated, but it cost him too much energy and in the early morning he passed away, fortunately painless as his circulation just stopped. The vets stated that this is very common with the firstborn of giraffes, but nevertheless it's very sad.
