Wow!, we have a great group of people going on the scavenger hunt. When I call them on Tuesday for more information (we now have met the minimum requirements of 10 people for a private group), they will be pleased!

Ok, I guess no one is lurking today. On my way out the door, back to work I go. Last night it took me over an hour to get home, we got about a half inch of ice! It was slow going.

Hey Dan - Sorry we missed you. We just got back from church and Publix. Then, one of the neighborhood girl scouts came by selling some of her left-over cookies. We couldn't resist and bought 4 boxes. Gotta love those cookies!!!

I was lurking:
-Immediately after waking up - Wanted to know about Rosy's Kitty!! Good to hear the he will recover
-Before we went to the gym.
-After we returned from the gym.
-Before Dinner.
-And right now, after dinner and dooing the dishes.

At 815pm (Prime Time in Germany) we will watch a Matthau/Lemmon movie, the one with them going as Dancers on a cruiseship to entertain single senior ladies. Not as good as Grumpy Old Men, but still very funny. But during the commercial breaks, which are not quite as often here but longer, I will lurk again.

We already feel like spring has arrived, we crossed the 50ºF-line today and the forecasts predict similar weather for the next week.

Diznee Denna and David haven't yet "officially" joined our group, but they will be sailing with us. They're our friends from Richmond, VA. A married couple of 18 yrs. They have a cute dog named Cleo. They're our counterparts! Look out, we'll be a great team. I'll make them sign the "official" list once they get their stateroom thru DCL.

Twinave, sarahsmom and i have two DD cruising. They will be 13 and 12 at the time of the cruise. I think they may be interested in getting to know some of the cruiser their age, via email, prior to the cruise as well. Please let me know your thoughts.

Hi Everyone, Though my puter was fried! Was having serious trouble, made a few called but couldn't get anyone to help. So I took a nap. Now it's working, DH crashed it and then brought it back. I've lost my "favorites" list. Oh well.
Matty204, I will PM you with DD e-mail address. I think it would be great for the girls to "meet". DD is excited about the idea.

Well I am going to break down and watch TV tonight. The Grammy's are on and I want to see The Boss.

Thanks for all the well wishes for Oliver. He's sleeping on our bed right now. We had to buy some soft food for him as he can not eat the hard stuff we give the other cats (cat food that is) .
When he can go out again he will only be able to catch mice and no birds ( can I talk about mice like that on this page??).


Ave Do you have Windows XP? It has a Go Back feature that brings the computer back to a certain date and eliminates any changes you made from that day forward. It is a handy feature. I used it a few times.

Eric , I couldn't see the smoke or the fire from where I work but the word got out almost immediately that it was just an accident and no terrorism or anything like that involved. I don't know where the news media got the idea that thousands of New Yorkers were scared. I've worked in the courts for 25 years and from my experience, I wouldn't put much credence in what the news media say. After all, their main purpose is to sell newspapers. Accuracy is second.

Mike, I heard back from Chrystina (PowerAlabama) she and Dennis are doing well. She is planning a trip to Panama City soon and may have lunch with Ave.
I got my income tax refund and have paid off the cruise as well as my Radisson res and my Cozumel snorkel trip. That just leaves the fishing trip at CC for DS and DH and the Captain Marvin trip which I will pay for in a few months. Wow it was hard to see that $ come and go so fast but it at least I know I don't have to worry about it come August. Because DH is self employed, it makes it hard to budget things. I would hate to have a few "lean" months just before the cruise and have to put it on a credit card

Oh Amy and Chris - I lurked over onto your family website and just LOVED the pictures of Emily's first haircut. She was SOOO good. Richie's first haircut years ago did not go well at all! LOL!
I only wish you had taken pictures of Chris with the colors in his hair.

BTW - In the mirror I can see TWO guys taking pictures of Emily. One is Chris, is the other one a proud uncle?
