Hello, does anyone know if you can get a cot at the All-Stars.?
I am a single mom w/ a DD 9 and DS 6 at time of travel and would really love to have our own beds?? Thanks in Advance for any
help.. Michelle

No, I'm sorry Michelle, there are no cots at the All Stars. Plus, you would be hard pressed to find room for one! Maybe you can bring a sleeping bag for your DS or share the bed with your DD.

Or how about one of those inflatable beds (a single size). There might just be enough room to squeeze one in.

In 1997 at the All Star Sports Resort we had a roll away bed in our room. There was my husband, 16 year old son, 12 year old daughter and me. I asked at check in for a roll away bed as son was too big to share a bed with. They delivered it to the room within 1/2 hour of check in. It was no problem. We opened it at night and folded it up during the day. Things could have changed since then though.

I got a rollaway bed in a room with 2 doubles at the All-Star Music in March 2001. I was charged $16.80/night (including taxes) for it.

So, yes, you can get one.

:)

We did fit a single air mattress in the room and it wasn't too bad. Since my BIL got divorced a couple years ago, he's taking to traveling with my DH and DD7. Last year for a trip to VA/NC I bought a twin air mattress, and inflate/deflate pump. We've saved the $40 cost at least twice in the past year - by not having to pay for rollaways. I pack mattress, pump and a set of twin sheets. It take less than 5 minutes to inflate or deflate. We can always get pillows/extra blankets at the hotel. As ASmo we moved the luggage stand and the little table and put in the floor. We would lean it up against the wall whever DD wasn't in it. As a side note, when we used priceline last year in Wash DC and ended up with a room with a king bed, DH,DD and I slept on the bed and BIL got the air mattress. LOL

Hmmm, I never knew there was supposed to be a charge. We had one this past September, and we weren't charged for it. We were at the All Star Sports.

Everyone ! I will request one when i make my ressies.. Michelle
