How early can I expect to catch the buses at Bus Stop #3. We have two early morning things, a EMH at Animal Kingdom and a 8:15 reservation at Crystal Palace. Would it be okay to go buses or should we plan on driving cars those days?

Just a quick question:

Where can I get a mocha latte in the morning at CSR? Is Pepper Market my best bet? I cannot live without my coffee fix and I'm sorry but that Nescafe stuff just don't cut it:scared:

Thanks for any help!!

I'm going to let someone who uses the buses answer this (we rent a car).

I don't drink regular coffee; I always get my cappucino at the Pepper Market before we get in the car and head to the parks. They also have them at Cafe Rix.

Hi KatMark

I LOVE this thread!! You have given me some very helpful tips: Thank you so much!! Only 4 more days and we will be there!
SO EXCITED!!!!!!! :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

Thanks KatMark! Just need to plan ahead. We will be there next Monday after our cruise!

Disney sends early morning buses to each resort for people who have early ADRs or early tours. Be at the bus stop around 7:00-7:15am. We've never had trouble getting to an early morning ADR or tour.

How many outlets are in the room? DD will only be 22 months when we go and I am thinking I need to bring some plug covers. Thanks!

We are looking at staying at CSR for the first time in March 2012. We will be travelling with my parents, and need to book two rooms. I want to request connecting rooms, which I know cannot be guaranteed. Is there some way I can make it more likely that we will be put together in the resort? Will it help if I book both rooms or have them marked as "travelling together"? :goodvibes

i have another question. does disney charge for incoming calls or local calls on the inroom phone? i can't remember as we usually use our cell phones. this year it is just me and dd. i am just trying to plan the most cost effective course for dd's boyfriend to call her. after last years trip our cell phone bill was horrible.

I am not familiar with all cell carriers, but if you have Verizon, you may want to consider putting his phone number on the friends and family list-no limit to that number.

i dont have verizon anymore. too expensive. i had verizon last trip and the bill was crazy. we have virgin mobile for dd's phone.

just called disney directly and got good news. incoming and local calls on the room phone are free. i am going to let dd's boyfriend use our magic jack while we are on vacation. they can talk till their hearts content for free. also we can have family call the room too to save on the cell phone bill. we just have to text everyone our room number and the phone number when we get there. (dd has unlimited texting). thanks everyone for bearing with my numerous questions and all your help!!!

It is so long since I have had littl ekids and had to worry about this. I know there are several up by the desk (but they are up high). Hopefully someone else may have to check this themselves lately.

I just did my online check-in - only 10 days to go!! :yay:

I've never had to get two rooms; I think most people make two reservations and "link" them by saying they are traveling together.

Glad you got an answer to your question.

I have just spent 18 nights at the Coronado Springs Resort and had a lovely time. The resort is lovely and enjoyed walking around all the different pathways. Oh and those hammocks are just wonderful. :thumbsup2 We were in Ranchos 7B and thought the location was fab. Bus stop No.4 very close and the buses were plentiful, maximum wait was 10 mins, we had a pool and laundry room beside us and only round corner from Digsite pool. 5-7 minute walk to Peppermarket. We did laugh one night when we heard a family behind us complaining about the walk to the Peppermarket. I did find the room a bit dark and found there was far too much furniture in it so we piled some up in corner to give us more room.

There were many different Conventions going on in the time we were there and we met a few of the Conventions attendees at the Laguna Bar on the evenings we went and had a laugh with them especially two lovely ladies from the PTA convention. Lovely cocktails at the Laguna Bar watching the sunset was one of my favourite pastimes. ;)

We ate at the Peppermarket a couple times and food was good, another time we got the food to go and sat outside to eat.

We found all staff very friendly and the two maids we had were lovely. Each day there was always some extra special thing done, way the towels were folded, the way they arranged the toiletries etc. :)

The only small gripe I had was that the Digsite bar/cafe (can't remember the name sure it was Santina or something) never opened until 11 am so no refills available until then.

Thanks to everyone for all the tips I picked up from this site and sure will stay at the Coronado sometime in future but I do like to stay at someplace different every visit and after having a look round a few resorts thinking it will be Beach or Yacht Club next time. :goodvibes

Sandra, thank you for coming back to report on your trip. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay at the CSR, and that you liked Rancho 7B (that is where we are hoping to try for the first time in a little less than three months).

Siestas is the name of the pool bar. Yes, unfortunately, it has never opened until 11 a.m. I'm not sure what time the "pool bars" open at other resorts. I too wish it would open a little earlier.

Thank you for your detailed review...I am sure it will help others considering the CSR.

I am so glad you had a great trip! Thank you for the review. How wonderful would it be to stay more than a week. You are very lucky.

Ha ha as soon as I read your comments I knew full well it was Siestas, I just couldn't remember at the time and don't have any photos of it. :goodvibes

Coming from Scotland a 2-3 week holiday is the usual for us. Could happily stay longer. ;)

Muscateer- Thanks so much for the review. Glad to hear you had a lovely time. You mentioned spending time at the bars.....any good specialty drinks you would recommend? At Poly I LOVE the Pina Colava so I am on the prowl for something yummy for our first trip to CSR in October.

This is the mystery question that has gone on for years. Sometimes yes and sometimes no. We never used to pay it on the dining plan, but last year we did. If you ask for your food to go, you do not pay the 10% (this is what we do 90% of the time because we like eating out by the lake).

Kathy I chatted with the waitress about this when Dan and I ate there on the 18th. She said that Disney used to cover the gratuity with their dining plans but phased that out awhile back. We were told by her to leave it on the table, when we checked out and paid with our credits, the cashier didn't mention a thing about it. To me that seems like a stiffed tip waiting to happen for those servers. To me it was worth it, she brought our drinks, cleared our plates and when we first sat down explained everything to us. But for our two week trips, it would add up quick.

We had planned to take it to the lake to eat but it was so blasted hot and it felt so good in there I even got my cheap husband to agree eating inside was well worth the gratuity!
